This thread has evolved into discussing comedy television series. Try to to stay on topic

:okay:

I don't watch BBT. I tried watching it and I got bored but it's still one of the most popular comedy today. I probably would watch it if it didn't have any laughter soundtrack.

Modern Family is very good. It is definitely in the top 5 comedy that's out there. Gets about 10+ million viewers each week with good ratings.

about what I expected. The people who didn't realize it started an hour early go to miss the Sting shitfest, so they were lucky

2nd hour segments were about on par with what they usually are, and opening that hour with Brooke Hogan doesn't help matters. #Anti-Draw

The worrying part is, even in the 2nd hour the ratings were still poor.

Poor by what standards? They were on par with what they usually are.

If ratings are still in the low 1s a month from now, I'll be concerned. TNA will never bother going live again if that is the case.

Oh well. Enjoy it while it lasts. Should be a good show tonight

They were getting 0.9s and 1.0s. This week, the second hour got a 1.0 and the first got an 0.7.

Honestly, what does making the show live really do? I don't think it's that big a deal other than the lack of canned heat, but the IZ hasn't needed that lately unless Garett Bischoff was on screen. They got rid of the spoilers, but if someone's interested enough to read TNA spoilers, they're interested enough to watch the show nonetheless. Making the promos more realistic was a much bigger change imo.
