Fastlane felt like RAW in a way. We got some decent to good wrestling, but nothing even remotely interesting happened last night. 3/10
- Kalisto vs Alberto Del Rio was a good match.
This was really booked well and I can't really wrap my head around why this was kept off the main card. The right man won, though and this hopefully ends the feud.
- Sasha Banks & Becky Lynch vs Naomi & Tamina was decent, I guess, although I wasn't paying much attention to it.
- Kevin Owens vs Dolph Ziggler was solid.
Man, I just didn't care about this match. Why? Here's the deal: It's been done too much. But thankfully, the right man won.
- Ryback, Kane & Big Show vs Luke Harper, Erick Rowan & Braun Strowman was boooooooooooooooooriiiiiiing!
I hated The Wyatts losing here. It made no sense whatsoever and their booking continues to be a farce, unfortunately. The plans must've changed regarding Lesnar vs Wyatt at WM 32, so I guess WWE's trend of 50/50 booking will continue tonight by having The Wyatts defeat Ryback, Kane and Big Show. Oh, well.
- Skipped Charlotte vs Brie Bella.
- AJ Styles vs Chris Jericho was good for what it was. I was a bit disappointed, 'cause I was really looking forward to this one and thought they were gonna deliver big time, but that was not the case. Their SmackDown match was a lot smoother and better and still remains their best outing, IMO.
Was happy to see AJ Styles hit the Styles Clash and then win via Calf Crusher, though.
- The Cutting Edge Peep Show was an awful segment. I love all of those guys, but this was just awful. This was probably the very first New Day segment I hated. I thought they were going to introduce Enzo & Cass when The New Day started talking about being better than everybody, but nah, no such thing would happen. Booo!
> Wants Enzo & Cass
> Gets The League of Nations instead
- Curtis Axel vs R-Truth was a DUD. WTF were those goons thinking by putting this as the co-main event? Nobody wants to see this. Bugger off.
- Roman Reigns vs Dean Ambrose vs Brock Lesnar was a very good ME. I was enjoying the hell out of it until that anticlimatic ending.
First and foremost, I am not pissed off because Reigns won, even though my heart was with Ambrose, Reigns winning was fairly predictable.
I like the guy, I was just pissed off at the fact that he no-sold three chair shots and then hit the Spear on Ambrose and won.
I was also expecting The Wyatts to get involved and take Lesnar out, but I guess the plans of having Lesnar vs Wyatt at WM 32 got scapped. Sooo, Ambrose vs Lesnar, then? I'm all for it.
Also, it's a shame we got no heel turn last night, I was really hoping Ambrose would win and Reigns would turn on him afterwards, but nah-ah. No such thing would happen! Shame. But, I guess the WM crowd will turn Reigns heel in the ME, so I guess Vince will have to stop ignoring all these negative reactions towards Reigns then and accept the fact that Reigns has to be universally hated first before he's universally loved.
