Not the worst show I've seen. Had some decent wrestling on it. Honestly was more enjoyable to me than Evolution, and I wasn't even drunk for this one.

Idk how many of you actually watched it, but can I just say that I hope we get another run out of HBK? I know it wasn't the greatest of matches, but I really think he was great in this match, especially for someone who hasn't wrestled in 8 1/2 years. He's already come back and broken his "never again" promise, so why not? Could seriously have some great matches with the current roster after he's done with this whole nostalgia angle

As much as it'd be nice seeing him in the ring, he is far from his prime, he's getting older and older, and I think the nostalgia in wrestling is being abused a bit too much now. Like, it's losing its lustre and I'm kind of tired of seeing people from when I was a wee Beav who retired coming back or hanging on too much.

While I don't disagree with your logic, I feel like it's different with Shawn. Yes, it is sorta nostalgia, and no, he's not in his prime. But HBK at half his prime is still near the top tier of the roster. Jericho's not been at his best for almost a decade and people don't consider him nostalgia when he comes back. During Shawns last run, we got some of the best matches of his career on a somewhat regular basis.

I think when it comes to Jericho, it's sort of like, he hasn't really fully stopped for a long time, wrestled on a part-time basis at the least and had some full-time runs over time. Not to mention that he is always reinventing his character so it isn't just a complete retread of his "greatest hits." He brings something new each time. Whether it was the comedic List Jericho wearing his scarfs, or the Alpha "I'm not Tranquilo, I'm fucking crazy" Jericho. When it comes to Shawn Michaels, it has been too long, he had a major retirement angle which was perfect and would have put a nice bow on his career after his best in-ring run.
