7 of 10 from me too. I would have given it an 8 if they would have done some better story telling with the last match, but they didn't. They basically did the exact same thing as with Flair's retirement. He kept telling his opponent to attack him and not protect himself. I have zero problem with Roman winning the match, but WWE pissed away a huge opportunity to really do something here.

I would like to go over a list of what I liked and didn't like but damn, I am tired. This show was over five hours long... 7 if you include the preshow. However, it was a much better show than last year.

I'll write more about what I think tomorrow.

I don't want to complain too much, one of my favorite wrestlers may have just retired in front of my eyes. Am I overacting by saying that it was of the most emotional things I've ever witnessed, sure, but I don't care about that, I don't care about anything. Thank you Undertaker for all these years, I don't want to be mad at anything, I just want to be grateful for everything Taker has done.

7/10

The ending sucked for Roman but the way they let Undertaker walk out and retire was good. Just very, very sad.
Hardy's debuting was a nice and welcomed surprise. I really like how they did that. Glad they won too.
Cena proposing was clearly scripted but still... ehh the crowd loved it. I think he pre-proposed in secret before all this happened though.
Both women's matches were okay. Not bad, nothing mind-blowing. I liked those few good spots Char had.
Seth vs HHH was good but I feel it could have been better still enjoyed it.
Bray vs Orton was too slow and the ending was the worst of the night. Felt like a SmackDown ending... but worse.
MOTN was easily Shane vs AJ and I am shocked to be saying that. It was the first match and the best one hands down.
Everything else was ehh. Brock vs Goldberg was okay, I expected it to be terrible.
I think that is about it.

7/10 from me as well. Had some low points and some decisions I really didn't like but overall I'm not going to let the negatives outweigh some of the positives.

I legit cried watching Undertaker take his gear off and walk back up the ramp. Always my favorite, always will be with a special place in my heart.

6/10 for me. It had some high highs and some low lows, but overall an enjoyable Wrestlemania.

8/10

After the main event, it was going to be 7/10, but as Undertaker's retirement soon became clear...I had to bump it up a point out of respect.

The show had good moments. AJ vs Shane, the Smackdown Women's match had a good ending, KO vs Jericho. Shane vs Triple H is my match of the night, I don't care wat you think, fight me. While some may criticize the Proposal, it was a nice moment. As well the return of the Hardy's. This show had good moments. I'll admit that the World Title matches were lackluster though, and that hurts the rating.

The main event was not the best in the world. It was just dropkick after spear after Superman punch, but as soon as Undertaker got up and put his entrance attire back on, I knew what was coming.

If there were Wrestlers who got me invested in the first place, I have to say Edge, Jeff Hardy, but most of all, The Undertaker. I was always drawn in by him. To me, even though I knew Wrestling was staged, when I heard that gong I always got chills down my spine. I always was looking forward to every Tombstone and Chokeslam. To this day, him vs Shawn Michaels at WM 25 was my absolute favorite match because I was drawn into every pinfall and submission in a way which will never happen again. With this year's Wrestlemania, I knew I needed to watch it for only one reason and that was this moment. I wanted to see the one man who got me into this, to begin with, walk down the ramp one more time. I wanted to hear that gong one last time. I wanted to see one more Chokeslam, one more Tombstone. While the match was lackluster in a way, I at least feel happy knowing I got to see it one last time.

8/10. Few decisions I didn't like however that's always going to happen. The wrestling for the most part was thoroughly entertaining and Brock vs Goldberg was actually enjoyable when I didn't have any expectation for it all.

Plus it will always be remembered for someone who I grew up with retiring, someone who played a huge part in my childhood and I can't put a price on that. Thank you Undertaker, wish him all the best.

Cruiserweight match... missed it

Battle Royal was meh, just ridiculously cluttered as always. Mojo winning is so weird, like, he has no momentum, why did he win over Strowman or Zayn

Dean v Corbin was fine. My wifi crashed so I missed most of it, but I love Ambrose (wearing an Ambrose shirt right now actually) so I'm happy he won

AJ vs Shane was fine. The match itself was nuts, amazing even, but the fact that it looked like the commissioner could've beaten AJ Styles multiple times was just messed up

KO v Jericho was awesome, but that finger spot was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo stupid

The women's match was good, nothing special. Happy Sasha lost. I don't like Sasha and I stand by that

The ladder match was awesome. I was so excited for Hardys, and so happy that they're broken (semi broken)

Miz & Maryse v Cena & Nikki was great. You all know Miz is my favorite wrestler of all time and has been for years, but I'm fine that he lost. The proposal was really heartwarming too

Seth v Trips was so good, just, so good. I loved the whole thing

Concert? You mean bathroom break, yeah?

Wyatt v Orton was... eh. I love both competitors, but the bug stuff was stupid, and Orton really shouldn't have won

Lesnar v Goldberg was decent. That's it

The six pack challenge was also decent. It was really cluttered, so it was hard to pay attention. Plus, the double sharpshooter... no

Reigns v Taker was match of the night. It wasn't technically sound, but it had heart. Some people are pissed Roman didn't turn heel, but I love that he didn't. Why? I'm sure they'll be a different thread for that, and I'll explain my reasoning there.

Probably my fav mania next to Wrestlemania 24 which was also in the Citrus Bowl.

Even though I don't watch wrestling often, this event reminds me why I love the sport. Thanks for everything, Taker.

Really dislike the fact that his last go around was with Roman but out of respect for Taker I won't complain too much & will rate it 4.

The 4 is purely for AJ/Shane... Hardys showing up and respect for Taker's career as a whole only.

Btw.
I'll just rank the matches that I enjoyed and paid attention too.

1. AJ Styles/Shane - Okay match tbh which is sad cause it was the best wrestling match on the entire show.
2. Triple Threat Tag Team Match
3. Lesnar/Goldberg
4. Womens Champion (RAW)
5. Reigns/Taker

7/10 here.

Overall great show, it just really dragged towards the end.

Austin Aries vs Neville was a great match and one of the best of the night. And it was the very first match.

Aj vs Shane was also great. Man did that ref take a kick like a champ!

I liked:
Neville vs AA
It was solid

ATGMBR
Entertaining throughout. Even enjoyed the gronkowski bits. It just seemed to fit together well since mojo was a football player. Seems perfect really.

Aj vs Shane
Very nice match! It had some solid stuff.

US title match Kevin Owens (Canadian) vs Chris Jericho (Canadian)
lol funny how that worked out.

RAW Tag Team ladder match
In all honesty, I had little interest going into it other than the mere speculation of the Hardy Boyz returning. As soon as the new day came out we were all wondering who (who? who?) it could possibly be, with us also saying "fuck offfff do not say you guys!!!" Then when the music hit that made the match great. I was fully invested and hoped for the Hardyz to win, definitely didn't think it would happen especially this fast (remember the dudley boys). But when Jeff hit that spot.....ohhhh boy did it get real. So great to see them win! Sucks for gallows and anderson though lol.

The Proposal
(We wondered if he probably proposed in private ahead of time) but regardless it was a nice moment.

HHH vs Seth Rollins
I liked it. Friends, on the other hand, didn't so much. It kind of made it difficult to be too into it most of the time. Overall I liked it and was glad with either outcome.

Universal Title
Mainly due to the fact I wasn't too excited about it going into the match. Even the entrances got annoying. This was the first part to feel like it started to drag on a bit. Just was pretty late in comparison to how much was left. But the match itself was actually decent. Not a squash. Not a long boring match. Although they only used a combined what, 4 moves? It was well planned and executed. An intense back and forth for a bit. Wasn't too upset with the outcome, but honestly it shouldn't have been for the main title.... or any title for that matter. It's whatever though. Maybe Finn digs deep and wins tomorrow? Who knows...

Roman Reigns vs The Undertaker
As far as Roman goes, it's whatever. I don't hate him but I do enjoy the BOOOOO when the music hits.
This one is all about the undertaker though. Grew up watching the man. Being just amazed by his character. It was hard to watch. Very hard to watch. I'm even getting a little emotional typing this 3 hours after the show ended.
It was a slow start. And by now it was already well past the scheduled end time. So it made it difficult to get into. It's been hours, we're all getting a little silly at this point, and it just seemed like a snore fest. BUT after a couple of minutes we started actually watching and it was rough. It was very hard to see this Deadman, who we had all grown up watching, being beat down. You could see he was clearly gassed halfway through. The breaking point was when Roman went to lift him but failed twice. It just seemed as if Taker was totally spent. This unstoppable man who we once feared yet loved, was basically giving up. Now I don't mean quitting, I just mean he has done so much for us over the years, put on classic after classic, and to see his body give out like that was so sad. That's when we all said OK wow, this is bad. He shouldn't go out like this. But we realized it was the most logical way. In my honest opinion there should have been a casket under the ring with The Undertaker and 1990 - 2017 underneath and he should have been set in there and shut. The picture perfect way to retire.

What I didn't like

Intercontinental Title
I was looking forward to it, but the match seemed to lack something.

Raw women's title
Just had no interest really.

Mixed Tag
While I liked the proposal, I disliked the match. Too fast and predictable. The cooler option, I think, would have been M+M win, then cena proposes and says something like "even though we lost the match, we still win" or something like that.

WWE Title
I was looking forward to this one as well, due to it being smackdown, but it extremely underwhelmed. The bug stuff was weird. The pace was way too slow. Then it ended. Bad match.

Smackdown women's title
It seemed way too late to start this. Just glad it was short. I'd actually categorize it as a neutral match more than dislike. I wasn't mad with it, the winner was somewhat obvious but I would have liked to see Alexa retain.

All in all I loved the show, I just feel as if it could have moved along a little quicker at times. The 7 hours seemed like a lot. That's the main reasoning behind the 7/10. I would have given an 8 or 9 if it was done sooner.

One thing I realized tonight is that they need to rethink these kickoff shows. Just make Mania like it used to be. Everything on one card. Start it with matches not 30 minutes of talking about everything. If they started matches at 5 and didn't waste so much time on clips before every match, or even shorten a couple slow matches to add more action and less long pauses between moves, it would have been done at 11. I'm just glad I booked tomorrow off.

Great WrestleMania with plenty of positives. Thank you WWE and The Undertaker for a memorable ending to an incredible career. 3:40 am time to sleep!

I voted 7 but its really a 7.5. I liked it but why it did not rate higher.

1. The 1st half was really good, the 2nd became a bit patchy.
2. Goldberg vs Lesnar was longer and better than I expected. ***1/2
3. Roman vs Undertaker. Nice send off and match was brutal but UT was past it. Would have been good with a Roman heel turn otherwise a bit meh.
4. Randy winning was wrong IMHO. WWE needs new stars and the match was a bit of a stinker, Randy vs Luke at EC was better IMHO. Wrong person won.

Generally I thought the right people won every match including Roman vs Taker. Roman may not have been the best use of talent though to send him off either Cena or AJ perhaps being used.
