Well damn, this was a good show! :yay:

Not only was it a very good standalone show, but it did a whole lot to try to get me re-invested in TNA...

-While largely being down with the TNA roster holy crap was it good to see the Wolves again. Probably my favorite in-ring act in all of pro wrestling, seriously. And they had the first really good Ultimate X match in years! :yay: The action was fast, the spots were cool, the Bromans even held up their end... Yeah. This was a win. So much that... I can't believe I'm saying this, but if Robbie E can stay away... I may actually become a Broman fan. *gulp*

-then Austin Aries comes out! :yay: And I don't know what it is about the UK Tapings that bring out the best in the TNA roster, but it feels COMPLETELY different in the UK. Felt like many matches like this in NYC or Bethlehem... especially the IZ... underdelivered like crazy, but both of these guys brought it and they had a match worthy of the Aries vs Joe title, and since I don't watch Raw the finish didn't have to piss me off! :yay: Seriously this match was so good, nothing could top SPUD! SPUD! SPUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS WOOOOOOHOOOOOO OMG OMG OMG HELL YEAH BROTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT. WAS. AWESOME!

Cutaway to Magnus and Bram beating the shit out of each other backstage and good grief the action just isn't stopping and they're brawling and beating the crap out of each other like you'd expect and then even Mickie (she's back?) runs out and ACTUALLY ATTACKS A MAN... I love this show so much.

Speaking of things I love so much, AWESOME KONG! :yay: And then the women go out and put on a random episode of NXT cailber performance that all the chick fans need to go find and watch with some good storytelling and ahhhhh..

Yeah. Go find this first hour and watch it. If you haven't, stop reading all my spoilers and go do so, because this was way up there as one of my favorite wrestling shows ever... Then Matt Hardy showed up. :downer:

One thing that used to feel like nitpicking that's feeling more and more like a legitimate complaint is when a No-DQ match between "dude" and "heel faction" doesn't get multiple babyfaces involved. Where were so many other guys who'd even the odds for Matt fighting for... I don't know what. Anyway, like Jacob Fox up there said, it was kinda hard to get into this one. It's a whole faction that gets Del Rio heat from me going up against Matt Hardy in a street fight... Think this was the perfect match for me to dislike. Maybe it's different for you, idk.

As for the main event: I thought it was just pretty good but the other guys up here loved it so much that you all can go form your own opinoins. Don't have much to say other than "damn Lashley's a beast". Angle as champ... uhh... transitioning to EC3 maybe? Hopefully?

There was too much good on here for the last two not bad matches to drag it down. 9/10 from me as well, looking forward to getting on the TNA bandwagon again!

Agree with it all.

1. I'm glad I'm not the only one to react that way to Spud winning. I think the only thing I may marked out more more on would have been:

2. If Kong took the belt. No one should overlook her... I stop watching TNA over a year ago and it was only Kia that got me back. Of course since she did, I was able to see this which was:

3. The best TNA show since the pre Hogan days.

4. I'm actually more with you that the main event was pretty good, not great. Kurt has definitely lost a couple steps and I've never been a fan of Lashley's work. But even with that, it was enjoyable.

Dude, I was considering to be done with this show for good. But this episode has thankfully pulled me back in.

I would've thought last week would've sealed the deal, tbh. Spud vs EC3 in London was a perfect main event for TNA (built up better than most feuds they've tried since Aries beat Roode) and I enjoyed The Wolves beating The Revolution.

Nah, the 3/13 episode wasn't good enough to seal the deal for me. The only segments I liked were Roode vs EY and Spud vs EC3, everything else was meh and boring for me.
This last week's episode has thankfully pulled me back in.

And at this point, I'm gonna do the same with RAW. I'm just waiting for WM and the post-WM Raw which is either gonna pull me back in or bail me the fuck out.

Really? I thought it was the best episode of 2015 (until now) and the only dud was Brooke vs Robbie E, while Galloway vs MVP was a bit disappointing but set up the storyline. But hey, I can appreciate opinions.

Glad to hear it, looks like TNA really put everything into making the world title match look like a million bucks and while I'm gonna watch it soon (delay on Challenge), hearing that they even put out some UFC-like entrances makes me hyped.

To each their own, I guess.

But the important part is, my faith in TNA has been restored and I'll definitely keep watching.

Finally finished the episode... and wow.

IMO, a 9/10 episode that was the best so far this year on Destination America.

+ Ultimate X was great, The Wolves looked great, The Bro-Mans were hilarious and The Revolution was picked very smartly and the commentators played up their strengths and weaknesses pretty well - Storm is the tag team guy to go to , but Manik and Sanada are X-Division guys with experience in Ultimate X so it's easier for them to fight there.
+ Austin Aries vs Samoa Joe was good, the crowd was pretty awesome and the DQ... well... it's there every week, I guess. Didn't mind too much. Anyways, Aries got his briefcase back and rekt Joe and Low-Ki.
+ ROCKSTAR SPUD IS THE NEW X-DIVISION CHAMPION. THAT IS ALL.
+ Magnus and Bram. That powerbomb looked siiiick.
+ Taryn Terrell vs Gail Kim vs Awesome Kong was a great Women's triple threat and despite one or two botches here and there, that really did fit in with the great matches on Impact. I think that Taryn's really improving quickly and is great now, Gail is like a goddess and Kong scares the shit out of me.
+ Storm vs Hardy was okay until the end, I guess?
+ Lashley vs Kurt Angle was a great main event. Can't really say much about it because it was basically two powerhouse badasses suplexing, spearing and submission holding each other until Angle came out as the winner.

- Audio seemed a bit weird at times, like the crowd was vocal but we couldn't hear some of it.
- Those UFC walk-out entrances were good, but it would've looked better if they had teams with them, like a few random guys who support them to the ring.
