Reigns getting involved in that match is as silly as booking Rollins vs Cena in the first place.
That promo was such a cringe-worthy crap. So freakin' vapid. But I guess that's their definition of a 'golden boy'.
Cesaro don't have "it" tho
(seriously I thought he came across as so cool at first back when he was the silent guy around the other annoying main event babyfaces who wouldn't shut the fuck up, and now that part of him is gone. Come on, Vince, just let him be him.)
Cesaro has all the wrestling skills, though. They speak for him instead. That's something Reigns doesn't really have, he's just not good enough in the ring and he ain't much better than Cesaro on the mic either. If Reigns could talk like Ambrose and wrestle like Rollins or Cesaro, then I wouldn't have anything against this undeserved ME push.
Vince just doesn't have a clue anymore. The only thing he cares about is Cena and Cena only. Yeah, fuck the entire roster. Cena'll be around for the next 30 years and continue to bury talent. That's Vince's goal, or so it seems.
Well, Show came out for no reason, so Reigns came out for no reason too. Despite the astronomical lack of logic surrounding that crap tables match I'll count this tidbit as a double negative and say that at least that makes sense
I agree on this, and have to give credit to the ME, it wasn't something used over and over again...no one saw it coming. I enjoyed the IC match and think people aren't giving enough credit to the fact the IC belt is #2 in the company and DZ having it as the babyface people love can really up it's value.
Orton is returning at RR ffs, and he will take people out of the match before helping reigns, I expect them to be the last two from a last 5-7 being mostly heels.
Ambrose vs Wyatt continues, DZ vs Harper more than likely to happen either tonight or before RR, Show vs Rowan to keep them away from the RR, and Who gives a shit about the Uso's. Thank god they are finally out of the #1 spot. So we have team Mizdow vs New day, US title match again, Who gives a shit about the diva's, the RR match itself, and Bork vs Cena at the RR. That's a solid card. pretend Rowan vs Big show doesnt exist.
I don't see the harm in switching the IC title back and forth The Rock and HHH did this in 2000 and ratings were better than ever.

Roman Reigns helped John Cena because he's John Cena. It makes Reigns look like a more swell guy than he already apparently was.
He was 'voted' superstar of the year. Why not piggyback off that and re-enforce his desire to see justice served.
Remember the kinds of people deeply interested in this match. These fans aren't theoretical physics majors, they're likely (mostly) mothers and children.
Yes, but you have to realize that I'm not them. Am I over thinking it? Of course I am. That's exactly what I do with every aspect of professional wrestling. That's actually what I do with everything.
There are aspects of wrestling that we all over think. But one of the most important aspects is that I'm a writer... I've been writing since I was 11 years old. When a plot doesn't make sense to me, there's cognitive dissonance. The only time this becomes a problem is if I obsess over it, which is unlikely. I bitch about it for a day, then I realize I don't really care about Cena or Reigns anyway, and I remember that ROH PPV was awesome and I move on. But if I don't bitch about it just a little bit, then I wouldn't be much of a wrestling fan, would I?

If you literally saw a person dancing on top of a cloud, you wouldn't think its fake you would be legitimately wondering how he did it and why he would want to do it in the first place.

Maybe that post was long winded, but I've brushed along this same discourse millions times over.
I actually gave it a 8. That seems exageratted now that I think about it, but I could not give a 7 to a b-ppv that had so many good matches and a even better main-event. were it wrestlemania or some shit I would definitly give it a 6 or 7, but that's tlc, so, there you go, 8. Hope they can keep the momentum and make this royal rumble worth it
I've been trying to think of a proper response but have as of yet to come up with a decent one other than just saying you're absolutely correct and that was a perfect response.
I'd probably be a much happier person if I let things just be without explanation, but I'd be a bored happy person.
