Well What is there to say about TLC:

I missed the first few so I'll start with what I saw.

The Purple Tag: Nothing to say about it The cruiserweights are boring.

Who gives a Bloody Damn About Bliss no comment.

I didn't want Enzo or Kalisto to win I was hoping for like a run in or something.

Balor and Styles were good but Maybe not Moty.

And the main event was Such a cluster fuck it was MOTY No doubt,
Kane and Braun beat each other up
Angle in shield gear was great
The bar is awesome
and Miz is the perfect little guy

It was really good, overall.

The biggest disappointment was Asuka. I mean how the fuck do you book this woman as like the biggest threat ever to the women’s division, ever, only to have her somewhat beat Emma. Stupid bs. She should be the Brock/Braun of the divas right now. They fucked it all up.

Styles and Finn was easily match of the night. It stole the show before it started. “This is awesome” chant going before the match starts. Perfect. It was back and forth, entertaining, and good finish. This is what I call a 5 Star match. It wasn’t even really just a spot fest either, rather a back and forth, intense exchange of holds, strikes, and different move sets. I feel like matches like these set a great tone for what a 5 Star match actually is.... the difference between this match and a Cena “5 Star match” is simple: it’s not just a spot festival, and focused on only kicking out of like 8 finishers. It encompasses the entire picture, from start to finish, and ends with an amazing finisher, after several desperate moves and variations of what each stars normal move set is. It was beautiful.

The main event was simply entertaining. It was fun. If was different. It started off a little stale as I wanted angle to come out to his own music and have it feel special, but then they had him come back out with his music, which i actually said would happen right when he got “taken out” by Strowman, and then the match got much better.

All in all, it was a really good PPV and had enough enjoyable moments for me to give it an 8 out of 10. If Asukas debut wasn’t fucked, would’ve been nearly perfect.

Everyone has their own opinion on matches but I wouldn't jump the gun on this. Don't get me wrong it was a great match, but not a 5 star classic, which it didn't need to be for a 2 day build. In my opinion, a 5 star match needs to have it all tho, the right build/story, the talent in the ring, the right placement on the card which would obviously have to be the main event and with something important at stake, ultimately a world title of some sorts. This was a cool ass exhibition match that I really enjoyed but I'd still prefer the main event over it. Once again, everybody can have their own opinion on why they prefer a certain match over another but I wouldn't wanna overrate AJ/Finn

I was speaking strictly in terms of just the match quality itself. But yes, agreed that it does need the whole package.

For the most part and given the exteme circumstances going into it, I think the show was pretty entertaining. By no means perfect or anything, but I enjoyed most of it so went with a 7/10.

My two cents on some of the noteworthy events:

a) While great to watch Asuka finally make her debut on the main roster, I feel the booking of the match itself was not done the proper way. No disrespect to Ema, this should not have gone over 4 minutes and most certainly should not have been a back and forth affair.

During the build leading to Asuka's debut, the idea (as they did every week on RAW) was to hype her arrrival and present her as the dominant force she was at NXT, right? That is actually something that especially Corey Graves did to perfection on every occasion, after every video package, right? So, leave the hardcore fans out, any casual fan that does not necessarily follow NXT expects a female monster, destroyer, you name it, right? That being said, and given that first impressions really matter, I think WWE did wrong by what they presented to us last night. In my humble opinion, it should have been Ema perhaps with a bit offense in the beginning for a minute or so and then...game over; two or three of Asuka's signature moves and goodnight Ema...

b) So, WWE's idea of getting Jason Jordan over is by having him throw Elias celery, spinach, cucumbers and whatever the fuck other groceries...This is just beyond Peter Griffin stupidity...:facepalm1:.....

....and to whomever came up with this idea.....:fry:

c) By now I think they should change it from big match John to big match Styles cause AJ - as if we didn't know already - is a beast. It may not have been his best match, but big props anyway becasuse most importantly, he made Fin Balor look all that much better....

d) Main event was fine for what it was. A bit of a cluster, I think, and to be honest, given the situation, I actually thought they were going to give the heels the win here. With Roman out and the Shield reunion postponned, I figured they might have played it where Miz and co get the first laugh, thus building a story to conclude at Survivor Seried, where the Shield in full could get their revenge but I guess at the end of the day they just wanted to send the people home happy and close the show on a possitive note so, sure, I guess that's fine...

e) My other "sour" note is in regards to what I mentioned in a previous post the other day, is that I still feel Kurt Angle's in ring return was wasted....Could have been such a great storyline....

f) Watch Braun Strowman come on RAW tomorrow night...driving the dumpster truck into the ring and cause chaos....as he should....

g)....uh...does this mean Strowman vs. Kane?...:hutz:

Imagine if a Kane/Strowman feud led to Strowman vs Undertaker at Mania. (YES I KNOW HE'S "RETIRED" AND SHIT BUT STILL.) I would be hype for it tbh.

Agreed. I found the match entertaining but it was definitely not a five star match in my view. I didn't do a rating on it, but if I had it would have been 3 1/2 or 4 at the most. I honestly thought putting these two in the ring would have produced a better result. An excellent match and better than most, but IMO not 5 stars nor a contender for MOTY.
