I recently went back & watched WrestleMania 30, 31 & 32 and absolutely thought 30 & 31 were great, especially 30 but then they went the complete other way with 32 & I thought it was just garbage, complete trash with the exception of AJ Vs Jericho. The previous 4 years were pretty darn good IMO which is a pretty good run considering WM history.

I guess I'm just curious to see how you would rate all of those WM's in the last 5 years & also wanted to find out if people disliked WM32 as much as I did.... Also, I'm obviously not one of those people who are "never satisfied" since I am fond of the 4 WM previous to 32. With the exception of UnderTaker losing the streak of course, the shock factor was awesome, but still not worth it to me.

Whatta ya think?!!

IMO from best to worst:
30
28
29
31
32

I'll have to go and watch 28 29 and 30 as I only resumed watching at 31 (I only started watching again because it was wrestlemania that weekend and here I still am almost 2 years later)

31 was...OK. I didn't like the whole outdoor concept at the time though. Maybe if I went back and rewatched it I'd change my mind now. I had just never seen an outdoor event before.

32 was pretty bad. Alot of injuries going into it. And the main event ruined any positives. The ladder match was ok though. And Jericho vs aj. Only good part of the hell in a cell was Shane spot from the top.

Hoping wm 33 will be better.
I'll come back and update my best to worst when I watch the other 3

Man I hated that spot lol.....

Looked so fake where he landed, just complete cardboard with a sheet over it. Then they went on like it was the biggest jump ever & he wasn't really that high up.

It was ok I guess, I've just seen Shane O Mac as well as others do way crazier spots from way higher up & it just kind of seemed like the safe little ballpit at McDonalds or something. Guess I've just seen so much wrestling.... Like comparing it to Foley going off HIAC with no cardboard....

& then through it afterwards, not to even mention some of the stuff they do on the indies, really couldn't think of it as that big of a deal.

I love it outdoors too... I don't know what it is, just seems special, maybe because they don't do it often. Makes it feel like a real event like a concert, SuperBowl or Nascar. Then it turns to night & the main event under the stars, all the fireworks going off. That's why I love WM in Orlando or the Dome in TO. You're not the only person I've heard say that they weren't fond of it though. I've heard that quite a few times actually.

Oh I know Shane o mac has done cooler, but considering the cell is higher than it used to be, it was pretty decent still I think. A highlight from that lackluster match/event is more what I was implying.

But like you say, there's definitely much cooler spots

Ok so I've been watching wm 28 tonight and I have to say, this outdoor wm is fucking awesome. I fell in love with this one right away. I'm almost 3 hours in just saw chris Jericho vs cm punk (my first time seeing a punk match actually) and every match has pleased me 100%.

I guess the difference maker for me is the state and time zones.

28 was in Florida so eastern time. It was already dusk by the time it was getting underway. So by the 1 hour mark it was dark.

31 was in California, but started the same time as normal which meant it was still afternoon out there. It wasn't dusk for a couple hours so by the time it got dark we were at the main event.

Also, this has been a hell of a card too. Definitely my favourite of these 5 so far but I haven't seen 29 or 30 yet.

28 (The first Rock VS John Cena match. That awesome Hell In A Cell match with The Undertaker and Triple H)
30 (Not a big fan, but it had big moments. Undertaker lost his streak and all that)
31 (The big cash in. You also had a few good matches)
29 (Putting this here just because they lied about the Rock VS Cena match being once in a lifetime....Make that twice. CM Punk really should've been in the Main Event here. Losing his title here would just be better. I mean, The Rock VS CM Punk sounds better? Maybe even put Punk over and make him lose his title the month after. I feel like they messed up a lot here, but you did get some good matches. I wouldn't call this terrible)
32 (All over the place. Why did the Rock have a match? Em....Roman Reigns VS Triple H was trash. I mean, this Mania really sucked. The best match was Chris VS AJ)

It was a complete joke..... from start to finish, a bunch of stuff just thrown together like they didn't even care & then trying to create the illusion that Roman actually belonged on the card let alone in the main event but it didn't work & it just came off as complete silliness.

Vince "Yeah that'll work, we already have their money so just push Roman & then add a bunch of filler, we've had people boo us worse before"

30 (Remember doubting this one live, especially coming in in such a toxic environment. But that added so much to the main event, also Cesaro's spot, Cena vs Bray until the finish, and the most predictable match in wrestling history going the OTHER way... This one's grown on me a LOT)

31 (Hasn't aged well, but for a show that had all the doubters in the world this came across really well live. And that RKO sweet Jesus)

32 (We're... really splitting hairs here. This show was an abomination of ridiculous booking and horrible time managment that earned its position in last place. However, they ditched the Divas' title and had the women's three-way, which set the course for the division to finally be taken seriously. When it came to working towards the future that's the best of these shows.)

29 (I still haven't watched this. Went back to catch Taker/Punk and that was really good stuff, but the legacy of WM29 seems to be "The show where nothing happened")

28 (I liked Rock/Cena I more than most and the finish was CLASSIC, but Jericho/Punk and HHH/Undertaker less than most. In an era where fans were craving new stars more than ever, this show crammed the full-time roster into the Johnny vs Teddy match.)

31. I think this was the best WrestleMania ever. I've gone back and watched it several times and have enjoyed it each time. The only flaw really was how long The Rock's segment went on.

28. I loved how they built up to Rock vs Cena. I enjoyed a lot of the matches and there were several things I couldn't predict.

30. Capped off with a main event result I really wanted that culminated a storyline that began the previous summer.

29. I liked this one but it was predictable as hell from start to finish. The only match I REALLY liked was CM Punk vs Undertaker. This was one of the matches I was rooting for the Streak to end. In retrospect, being that Punk is such a freaking dick, I am glad it didn't.

32. This rivals WrestleMania 2 and 13 for possibly the worst WrestleMania of all time. It was long. It was boring. It had one of the worst main events ever. The matches I was looking forward to just underdelivered. It was completely awful and I was pissed a long time afterward.

The thing is about 32, other than the fact half the roster was hurt, it had some good points but was overshadowed by a bunch of meh. Women's Triple Threat, the IC ladder match and AJ vs Y2J were good and overall Wrestlemania quality. Then most of the rest were bleh. New Day vs League of Nations, Brock and Dean being a disappointment, Shane vs Taker was lackluster until the ending, The Battle Royale was ok, The Rock and Cena almost buried the Wyatts, and as we already know, the Main Event was a shit show.

30: Daniel Bryan Vs Triple H in a personal 5 Star Match, Bray Wyatt Vs John Cena was ***1/2, The ARMBAR had Cesaro win, the pre show tag match was good, Brock/Taker sucked, Bryan/Orton/Batista was ****1/2. Fucking excellent show that had Bryan's coronation which cemented his 14 years of work up to that point.

31: Rollins/Orton ****, Ladder match ****, Womens Tag and Sting Vs Haitch were alright, Brock/Reigns was okay ***3/4, Rusev Vs Cena ***1/2. Overall solid show.

32: People can be seriously so idiotic about this show, they pretend its like Wrestlemania 27 bad when it actually wasn't. Ladder Match ****, Womens Triple Threat ****1/4, Brock Vs Ambrose ***, Trip Vs Reigns *, Jericho Vs Styles ***1/2, Taker Vs Shane **. It was a perfectly good show, it wasn't amazing and it wasn't as good as the two years previous but stop pretending like it was Wrestlemania 27 because when you've lived through Wrestlemania 27 and 29 live like I did then its a wonder you didn't hang yourself.

28: Again another good show, I can't remember exact ratings but I liked the HIAC, I liked Jericho Vs Punk, Big Show Vs Cody was okay and The Rock Vs John Cena was one of my favourite matches I've ever watched live, both my childhood heroes colliding in the Mania Main Event in what is overall a **** match but in my heart I adored it from start to finish. Also fuck 18 seconds but I also love it because it catapulted Bryan as a huge star and gave us the amazing Bryan Vs Sheamus 2 out of 3 falls match.

29: Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck this show. Punk Vs Taker was so underwhelming its unreal (Just like every Punk main event match, the dude never delivered on the big stage.) Cena Vs Rock had lost all its star power for me (At least their promos kicked ass, the story was great too but I'd seen the match a year previous and had no want to see it again). Ryback Vs Mark Henry was a dud, Dolph and Big E Vs Bryan and Kane was so rushed due to time constraints. God this show sucked. The best part was Living Colour live.
