Yea, @TigerDriver91 I'm not counting ALL of those threads that you spammed (which is something that I keep telling people NOT to do). I just ended my series on Christmas day.

THANK God that I finished my 2021 series last week.

Taking the time to count ALL of those 18+ late votes on my off-day sounds like hell, man.

No, skipping ANY genuine vote defeats the whole purpose of my series (which is for me to count EVERY vote for more accurate results).

Thankfully, this happened after Christmas; where I don't count any further votes for 2021.

Hey man, I didn't know I'm not supposed to vote in some specific threads. They weren't locked.
OK, just don't count my votes. It wasn’t my intention to spam or to upset you.

He doesn't want to close them, he wants to leave them open for votes BUT also doesn't want people to vote in old ones

Hey, man, I'm sorry for sounding really hostile/rude to you yesterday.

It was nothing personal with you. I would've said the same to anyone else who spammed

It's not that you weren't supposed to vote in those threads. It's just that it's a big hassle for me to count late votes since there's plenty of other instances (not you specifically) where I had to keep doing them in my free time (instead of being early which I would MUCH prefer).

I'm just extremely determined to count EVERY genuine vote on any of my rating threads I make per year, and I refuse to leave ANYONE out; which makes it even more tougher when I have to keep track of late votes too (especially when multiple threads are spammed, which could take me hours if 5+ old threads get bumped).

The only reason why I didn't count yours yesterday is because I already uploaded the 2021 results last week, so the deadline has already expired

HOWEVER, I do plan to reset everything at some point next week!

Anyway, I really do apologize for being mean to you yesterday (especially when I had no reason to since the deadline for my 2021 series had already expired).

I DO hope that you continue to contribute in my future threads like @Chris Kringle does (which I can't thank him enough for since HE'S the glue that's helping keep my series alive on here). All I ask is to vote on my future threads on time (preferably vote in my threads that are UNDER 3 days old) so that way I don't have to worry about counting extra/late votes in my free time

Don't get me wrong. I'll STILL count late votes in 2022 no matter what, but I'd prefer to count votes on the regular time that I count everything else in my schedule

Yea, you pretty much summed it up accurately here.

There's pros and cons to this either way. The best case scenario is for most folks to vote in my threads that are under 3-4 days old, and that late votes end up being (extremely) rare each year.

Believe it or not, I actually counted a late vote VERY early on Christmas morning RIGHT as I was moments away from posting my 2021 results thread

Thankfully, it didn't really change the overall standings and the Top 10 lists that much

This way, everyone wins and nobody gets irked
