Hello, I hope you folks all had a happy first week of the New Year so far, and hopefully my fellow participants got a nice break from not voting these last couple of weeks. Today is the first Monday of 2021, which means that I'm continuing my series for this year as of tonight
We're officially going to begin doing this again starting today, and it'd be greatly appreciated if there will be more participation in these rating threads as there was in 2020. I'll try to make sure that we'll rate as many of your favorite talents as possible for this year.
Expect to see me start up a new thread every 5-7 days depending on how active the superstar rating thread is or when my most recent one(s) get bumped up. We're going to start everything slowly in the early parts of the year compared to the later parts of the year like we did last time.
With that being said, it is now time to rate a superstar for the first time in 2021! Remember that all of your votes DO matter, but please just try to be objective. Let's also try to get as many responses here as possible now, and PLEASE try to vote on my polls
Because there are no updated standings (since we haven't rated anyone yet in 2021) for this part, I'm going to include these expectations here just this once:
- Try to be objective and realistic for each superstar that we rate even if the talent is a favorite of yours or someone that you hate (whether it's someone like Daniel Bryan or Baron Corbin).
- Please no troll votes or anti-troll votes because I'd like your ratings to be genuine or realistic
- Feel free to bump up my older rating threads from 2020 ONLY. I will NOT count any votes from a rating thread that is from any other year.
- This is a new one for this year. Please DO NOT SPAM my older rating threads all at once. I do not want to reach that point where I had to count delayed votes for 8 CONSECUTIVE DAYS last year (due to many folks spamming my older threads without giving me any lengthy break whatsoever). It'll just end up getting incredibly obnoxious for me if I end up having to count those excessive late votes 60-90 times in total like I did last year (which can take HOURS if you just spam older threads all at once). You do NOT have to vote in all of my threads because there will be at least a hundred of these rating threads this year, so you'll be fine. PLEASE just limit the number of times you bump my older threads. That's all I'm asking from everyone here
- For the record, please do the admins/moderators and me a favor. Please try not to bump dozens of my older rating threads within 1 day. Don't get me wrong, I'm willing to count EVERY VOTE from this year; but it's so damn time-consuming when I have to count each vote from those dozens of bumped-up rating threads (especially since that happened countless times in the past year), and I bet it's a pain for the admins/moderators to enforce all of those "spam" threads too. It'd be GREATLY APPRECIATED if you vote in my older rating threads sporadically throughout the year by bumping them a few times per month (as long as there is no spamming obviously).
- This is ANOTHER new one. PLEASE post your ratings in the APPROPRIATE rating thread. I REFUSE to count any vote on a rating thread that is NOT made in 2021. Even if I already made a rating thread about Drew McIntyre in 2021, this means that I STILL wouldn't count your ratings if you post them on a McIntyre thread that was made BEFORE 2021. I'm not going to reward those who don't follow these directions since you'd essentially be forcing me to search through multiple rating threads for a talent from different years, which I just won't do. PLEASE just stick with my 2021 rating threads
- Make sure to remember voting in the polls too because it'll help us determine who's the superstar that you want to rate the most for the following week, and I'd REALLY like to avoid multiple talents being tied in the number of votes)
- I WILL be hosting my RTC thread series in MORE than one forum! For the WF participants, I MIGHT PM you the rest of the poll IF VS does anything to remove the ability to have 80 available options. For the WS participants, please try to keep my RTC threads on topic so it'll be easier to count your votes in quicker fashion.
- Feel free to let me know (via in these threads or on Discord or by PM) if you believe that a rating thread for the female talents is overdue because I understand that there are more male superstars that win the poll votes compared to the women (same goes with the cruiserweights and AEW talents since they tend to get shafted too); I'm thinking about doing multiple threads within one week if there is enough demand (one for the male superstars that usually win the poll vote and the other for the women/cruiserweights/AEW talents/NJPW talents for those that want them to be rated too).
- You can choose to rate the superstars based on their abilities, based on their overall talent, based on their consistency, based on their prime, based on their current performance, or based on a mixture of these criteria.
- Please remember that the poll vote is MULTIPLE CHOICE.
- Finally, I'd like to make clear that your genuine/realistic votes WILL be counted because I've had few issues checking over all your votes last year, and I trust that you folks will rate the talents as fairly as possible
Today we will rate Guerrillas of Destiny since they won the most votes.
Edit: Please set each quality in this order (Look/Presence, In-Ring Ability, Charisma, Mic Skills), so it'll be easier to count your votes
For those of you that missed the Rate the Classic results from 2020, here is the thread from a couple of weeks ago. If you feel like adding your thoughts on these rankings, then please feel free to do so!
