Yeah you're nuts. But I thought in ring skills referred to pure wrestling ability and Jericho blows Austin out of the water in that regard. I would think psychology would go more with charisma
Nah, psychology is ring work.

Charisma is just how you connect with your character and sell it to the audience.

This ain't a Jake Roberts promo. Austin has more higher rated matches than Jericho, it's like you're basin' this off moveset.

Higher rated by who? Steve Austin himself admitted his in ring skills weren't great. Obviously his charisma and mic skills were unrivaled except maybe by the Rock but his wrestling was nothing special. He was a brawler who worked the same kind of match. Like I said it didn't matter cause he was insanely good in every other way but you are not gonna tell me that Austin was a better in ring worker than Jericho.

Considerin' a lot of folks have Austin/Rock at X7 at 5 stars this negates everythin' you just said. It's not always about moves. Austin is humble talkin' about his past and doesn't wanna undervalue future talent.

They only rate it that because of the two stars involved and even it was five stars that's one match. Just because Austin was technically one of the biggest stars of all time don't let that cloud your judgement. Star power and in ring skills are not the same thing.

I'll take X-Seven over any Jericho match. It's true.

I think we're done here because you don't take storytellin' into account into in-ring skills.

Ok hypothetically.

Chris Jericho HAS GOOD STORYTELLING. Chris Jericho's near perfect in ring skills and really good storytelling is better than austins average in ring skills and near perfect storytelling. I definitely think storytelling counts but in ring skills should count for a lot more.

This is where we diverge greatly because the greatest in-ring indy spectacle means nothing to me if he can't tell a story.

Why do people act like Steve Austin pre-neck injury wasn't a great talent. Even by most definitions he was a very good hand in the ring and could work with just about anybody. Just because his body of work happened to be alongside people who were better in the ring than him (Steamboat, Pillman, Hart, Hart) doesn't mean his work rate was any worse.

To expand on that, I'd say Austin was as good in the ring as Pillman pre-ankle injury. That is to say good, almost borderline great.

Now are we rating the character or just the person cause I see people saying his WCW content but this would be about Razor, not Scott Hall?

Anyways.

Look/Presence: 8
In-Ring Ability: 9
Charisma: 9
Mic Skills: 9

As far as I'm aware it's Scott Hall in general. He just chose to use the Razor Ramon name.

Like when Hall went into the Hall of Fame under Razor Ramon.
