Don't know if this is was the same show we watched guys, but all I'm seeing and hearing is a Hogan hate. Get over it.

Tbh, I really, REALLY loved the show. Hell, I'd eve say this is the best show in two months.

8/10 (more detailed review in Impact discussion thread).

When you get 4 Hogan segments and 3 wrestling matches in a pro wrestling show, that's bound to happen.

What's SO bad about having "only" 3 matches on a 1 hr and 23 mins show?

Realisticly, it should be 3 or 4. Business wise too, matches turn away the casuals. Why? They don't give a fuck about matches.

Plus, I find all the 3 matches were perfectly fine.

IMO, business wise and logically, it makes no sense to bitch about it. 5 matches or 6 matches is a LOT too.

+1 for the debate, and I usually agree with this. A promo-heavy show is usually a better one, filler promos > filler matches, and building and developing characters/feuds on Impact while setting up for the PPV is the best way to go.

But this was overkill. Maybe it's just Hogan fatigue (or just legend fatigue in general), but spending so much time on the wedding and whether or not Hogan would walk Brooke down the aisle was silly.

This is weird.
Both RAW and TNA was pretty bad, but most people seemed to have rated it higher for some reason.

TNA Pro on episode:
Roode and Aries
Gutcheck Winner
Daniels attacks Hardy after match
Gail Kim Vs. Velvet Sky
I'll give the backstage segments of the wedding an okay, it's just that I don't care about it.
^ Same goes for the wedding segment

I'll go middle of the road here and say 5/10 for me. I can't completely hate on the episode, because there were segments I liked just fine, as well as the matches. However, the wedding and Hogan focus kept dragging me back down, as it seemed like just as I'd get into it again, we were back to that. I understood going into the show that the wedding would be the focus, so fortunately I knew to keep my expectations low.

As per usual, I enjoyed Aries and Roode. I liked seeing York in another match. I was more than pleased with the Gut Check result. (Or Gutcheck....can't ever remember which is accurate. Oh well.) Daniels and Kaz were great as usual. Plus, they actually did manage to catch me off guard with the ending. I didn't expect that, so kudos on the swerve. The only inclination I got was someone on Twitter mentioning that the "big guy" in Aces and 8's looked kind of like Taz. But I still didn't expect the ending they gave us.

I loathed parts of the episode, but others I got into, which left me trying to focus on the positives. So, yeah, 5/10 for me. Hoping for better shows in the coming weeks as creative figures out what direction to take and how to best handle everything.

It's probably because of the overall Hogans opinion. I find them silly sometimes, but gee - we can't take literally everything so seriously. Some of the stuff Hulkster is in reality meant to be funny, but smarks say "he's horrible in that area" or what not. It ludacris in that matter. It's just hating on "old man".

To make a point, I feel Hogan still has the place in this business, I can stand seeing him on Impact, even though I too would cut down a number of segments he gets to 2 (max.) per week (3 on Champions Thursday), and they would be minimum to average length.

Again, my opinion, I feel this show was pretty damn good, I liked what I saw + Taz will probably leave the announce desk now! :yay:

Mike Tenay, old man, you're next to leave!:finger:

Watching this finally today, and this is the first Impact in a while i've contemplated turning the tv off for and just calling it good. So slow. The x-division match was short as hell, im not into sting, or hogan, or tazz. WTF, honestly, sometimes it's still awesome to see something big coming, the "craziest twist you didnt see coming" angle just kills me.

3/10, i honestly cant see it being any worse.

Hate to see when they book stuff for the moment of surprise even though it will have no use/suck in the long run.

Although there may be a point. What if :russo: is the leader and he picks his members based on how much of a swerve it is when they're revealed? I'd dig it.
