Umm, I see where you're coming from...

But, screw the 'positives and negatives' and all that stuff from other people, you should watch it only if you want to. It shouldn't really be based on other people's opinions, they beg to differ.
The product can't leave everyone satisfied, that's for sure.

Also, if it helps... This week's episode was a tad bit better than the one from last week.
it being a tad bit better is why i'm watching it, but I'm glad i turned down the free ticket to go watch this shit.

You can enjoy the shit out of WWE all you want, but i really haven't much of this entire year, and am mostly interested in Wyatt/Ambrose, Ziggler/Harper and a few other things, but if the average rating is 4/10 or even a 5 why in the fuck would I waste my time? If anything seeing that I know to skip along and rewind if I have to.

You can do what you want, but let's compare RAW to Smackdown as they both have been shit for quite a while. RAW has had a few decent shows with 6-8 ratings and i'm glad to watch those, but it'd be like me telling you to forget the smackdown spoilers and just watch the show to get your own opinion. The spoilers can tell you it sucks all by themselves, just like the ratings here will do for me.

I like skimming the spoilers to see what the matches are before investing my time to watch one of the shows. If the match card looks decent with half or more of it's matches seeming interesting then yes I will watch it.

That's fair, I guess.

Yeah, there were some good times and there were some bad times in WWE this year. Honestly, the product's sucked since Survivor Series.
Regardless of the average 4/10 or 5/10 rating, we continue to watch the product because we're still fans, and there's that habit factor, also.

Yeah, RAW's sucked ass for quite some time now, but SmackDown's been shit for as long as I can remember. There were some decent episodes here and there, I cannot lie. But those decent SD episodes don't come around very often.

Speaking of spoilers, I only read 'em for SmackDown. I'm usually like 'Ahh, fuck this shit.', yet I end up watching it every week 'cause I'm still a fan of this fucking business and I'm hoping it'll get better someday. There's also that habit factor I mentioned and I'll be like 'Hey, I'm bored shitless. I'm gonna watch RAW/SmackDown.'

I did that for quite a while, but now I have plenty of other shit to keep me busy. I am mostly invested in the RTWM deal, but if it's shit like last week was, i'd rather skip it and youtube for 10 minutes to get the two parts worth it.

That's completely fair.

If you've got other stuff to keep ya busy, other than WWE, then I see where you're coming from. It's cool.

Yeah, man. RTWM should be good.

I had to comment here... this is very much what I do. I started watching around Wrestlemania II and watched throughout the good times and bad.

The one time -ONE TIME! - I stopped watching.... the ONE AND ONLY TIME! !!!!!- the Attitude Era happened. I misssed the entire damn thing, or at least everything that happened after the Montreal Screwjob. If I stop watching again, WWE will get good...and as much as I'd like you guys to have good Raw again, I'm not willing to miss out.

I see where you're coming from, sir.

Oh, I missed the Attitude Era, as well. I was born in '95, so... But, I did watch some of the episodes here and there and I caught up with all of its glorious moments... But that's not it, it's not like you're watching it happen every week. But it is what it is.

I also stopped watching it one time. It was when Edge retired, I was so devastated, 'cause he's my favorite superstar of all time. So, I stopped watching it post-Edge's retirement... And it got good, there was the glorious CM Punk push and stuff, and I missed it. Once again, I managed to re-watch it, but like I said, that's not it, ya know.

I finally got back around to watching it again in late 2012/early 2013 and I have no intention to stop. I may miss out the good times!

At this point I'm just skimming through Raw, to be honest. Life is good. :dawg:

Good call.

Although, CENAWINSLOL vs Rollins, Harper vs Ziggler and Ambrose vs Wyatt wasn't skip-worthy.

I watched Harper/Ziggler. The other matches I'm sure were good, but I was busy today so I skipped it in part because I knew a crap finish was coming. And I was right on both accounts, surprisingly. But yeah, I won't say they were bad or anything.

Surprisingly? Nah, it was kinda obvious Cena/Rollins and Wyatt/Ambrose was going to have a cheesy finish.

But, oh well...

Well, not that those finishes were surprising, Cena winning never is, just me calling two things correctly on the same show seemed weird to me.

Oh, I see...

Well, make sure you guess those things correctly when the Royal Rumble bets are on, so you don't lose your money again... :heenan:

I literally didn't watch TV at all for a few years. I was at a video store in 2003 and they had a huge wrestling collection. So I grabbed the 1999 Royal Rumble and watched it and was so confused. I started watching TV and was trying to figure out why RAW and Smackdown had different champions. I decided to try watching WCW again.... that went well...

Eventually I just torrented all the past shows, started ready biographies and got caught up but it was a ton of work... all enjoyable though. I had the entire Attitude Era watched in a couple weeks.
