So attacking (yes, it still is attacking) or confronting a guy who F5'd you last week is now a heel or anti-hero thing to do? No way in my opinion, it's just the occasional pissed off Cena we get once in a blue moon.

It's just a more serious Cena. Did you not notice his typical face smiley entrance when he's supposedly annoeyd when he faced Otunga?

Definitely wasn't a good raw at all.

Didn't we see most of this stuff last week?

A typical babyface would want a straight up one on one match, they don't go out and slap the taste out of his mouth. Pissed off Cena isn't typical face Cena, as John is usually a smiling baffoon who respects everyone and slapping someone in the face isn't respectful. Is he going full out anti hero? No. Is he showing he could have more anti hero tendancies mixed in with his clean cut routine ? Yes imo. Tonight was very similar to Austin pushing Tyson imo the backstory is different but the segment is.

We've seen it before, hell, we've seen it recently when he feuded with Kane. Everyone speculated a slow burn heel turn, did you not see his facial expressions etc in the back? Then went out and destroyed someone, can't remember who. It's John Cena, he's not consistent. Sure, most weeks he'#ll be the smiley smiley superhero, but some weeks he does have this a serious aggressive side, so that itself symbolizes that he's not changed at all.

We all know he'd be a good anti-hero since it's what got him here in the first place. We'll definitely see more aggressive/angry Cena in the recent weeks to sell Brock's impact, they want to sell Brock as much as they can, that's why he's come off best 2 weeks in a row and why Cena said to Johnny "Why bring back a monster that nobody can stop?" when talking about Lesnar.

I guarantee you John isn't changing. He'll be the same. As soon as Lesnar isn't there he'll cut a promo similar to his promos on Rock.

-Dolph Ziggler jobbing, Cody Rhodes looking like an idiot, putting a jobber in the main event, Lord Tensai still sucks, Yoshi Tatsu deserves a chance, WWE Title match in less than 2 minutes :russo:, random irrelevant Ryder/Del Rio match in less than 2 minutes, and the Stooges... Good grief, this felt like three Eric Youngs running rampant over Raw. This was far beyond painful. The Punk/Jericho feud should be over now.

+Opening segment was awesome, and the rest of the show still found a way to be better than Smackdown.

1.1/10

Cena's always a more aggressive character when he's trying to get a heated feud over. The feud with Brock will end, and he'll either be the happy-smiley Superman again (winner) or a more real, more "determined to overcome the odds and fight out of this losing streak" Cena (loser). Either choice sucks.

Agree with all the criticism but imo Punk/Jericho is great at the moment. It's personal, interesting, non-generic and the matches will always be above par, as will the promos.

I became a Cena fan around the time he fought Brock the first time 9 or 10 years ago. His raps were lovely and just very clever. I was hooked and the downside was John stole Brock's finisher and made it his own. It was cute at the time, but thought John should have changed its name sooner than he did
