In all fairness, can't really say this show was as bad as previous weeks so gave it a 5/10 for some good in ring work alongside the effort to make things interesting in the build towards Summerslam.
However, while I can applaud the idea to give some of the matches meaning, such as in the case of the two triple threats leading into next weeks one on one number one contenders match between the two winners, the fact it was so predictable kind of took away all the lust out if it. Anyway, as expected we shall have a showdown between Reigns and Lashley for a chance to face Brock at Summerslam for the universal championship and one must wonder: does Roman get his win back and yet another title opportunity or do they surprise us by having Lashley win?
Normally, you'd have to consider Roman winning a lock, however I wouldn't rush to make that call, considering WWE are obviously high on Lashley and I'm pretty sure they don't want to "beat him" just yet (at least not clean, for that matte), which is why I am leaning more towards some dusty finish, albeit a double count out while both are brawling on the outside or by perhaps having somebody interfere, making it a more "protected" loss for whomever gets pinned, if that's the case. And in case you're wondering why someone would interfere, my thinking is that it could set up something for Summerslam for the loser of this particular match, whether it be Roman or Bobby.
Elsewhere, I'd say turn Roode heel already, set up the damn grudge match between Sasha and Bailey and how about we get us a good old tornado tag team championship for the RAW straps, elimination style? Like, inject some life in this otherwise dead division....
