Just skimmed through the show on the main site, seemed like a good one. Will probably watch it later today.

Did WWE really advertise CM Punk's 'BITW' DVD? Does it have to mean anything?

CM Punk stole the show. Also pleased they've retired the WHC. That's about it.

There was enough entertaining about Raw for me to call it a good show. Not great or anything, but pretty good. The Swagger/Rusev confrontation, Ziggler scoring with two ladies, Ambrose getting beat down and asking for more (I'm surprised they didn't go the obvious and have Ambrose make a run-in during the main event... seemed like a pretty ceffective way of feeding off of Ambrose's "never say die" attitude and would have gotten him a huge pop from his ever-growing fan base, but whatever), the Sting appearance on the WWE2K15 commercial (although seeing him just makes me wish all over again that he would have signed with WWE years ago), etc. Sheamus and The Miz was a pretty decent match and I always love seeing heels pull out the sneaky victories.

I usually don't give out ratings, but if I did with this one, I think a 7 out of 10 is fair.

Oh fuck, forgot. Sheamus losing clean on TV means instant 10/10. Once in a lifetime event, even if it was a roll-up.

It may be a ploy on WWE's part to get an extension done before he's free to work elsewhere.

For Ambrose to get crushed (without help from Cena or Reigns, oddly enough), and then come out for the night cap would make him look stronger than Reigns.
It would be too much too soon for Ambrose. Had Reigns made the save earlier in the night, it may have all worked out.
I'd have liked Ambrose to run in for the night cap, either way. There's no way he'd be allowed to out Superman Roman Reigns.

How would it make him look stronger? It's not as if Reigns (and Cena) got whooped themselves by Orton, Rollins and Kane when they ran to the back to make the save. You're probably right about that being the reason why he wasn't booked to make a run-in, but they could have shown a segment after the first commercial break (perhaps a replay of what happened during it) where Cena and Reigns make their way to the back but discover they're too little, too late when they find Ambrose laid out with no one else around. That would at least implied some effort on Reigns' part earlier in the show, and then it would have been OK to have Ambrose making a run-in during the main event considering the show last night ended the same way it has the past several weeks anyway - with Reigns standing tall amongst a field of fallen enemies.

You've made my argument for me. I don't dispute, but actually agree with everything you said.
I'd like to make this clear. Roman Reigns not being shown tending to Dean Ambrose looked bad.
That said, IF Dean Ambrose had run in for the night cap, in effect, he'd come out smelling better than Reigns in the end.
As of matter of fact, that may have been the better script.

I'm not against Ambrose looking stronger, I'm only 'against' Ambrose looking stronger than Reigns. (I actually don't care, either way)
I see a swerve in the form of Reigns being booked as a loner babyface. It doesn't appear Reigns is a very compassionate character.
It may be true that Reigns figures Ambrose' mouth got him a check he couldn't cash.
It's possible we are not seeing a lovable babyface in Reigns, but a loner who considers possibilities before acting on his own volition.

So, I just watched the show, it was pretty damn good. Giving it a 7/10

The opening segment was damn good. Except for when Cena was talking. Dean was the man during that whole segment.
Finally some good news, Sheamus lost to someone. It was something nice to watch.
Ziggler winning against Fandango and getting some pussy afterwards was nice to see.
The US-Russia detente was great, enjoyed every second of it.
ADR vs RVD was kinda decent. Really starting to like Del Rio for the first time ever.
I'm sick and tired of watching Cesaro losing. What the hell? This is like his 3rd loss for the 3rd straight week. WTF are you doing, WWE?
Y2J/Bray promo was good, as always.
15-Bo, I like that! The streak lives.
Paul Heyman hinting at Brock's return and plan C... Looks like it's gonna come to fruition at Battleground, I'm looking forward to seeing how the ME is gonna play out.
Ric Flair coming out to the ring was just trash. He didn't really look clean to me, more like high/drunk as fuck.
The ME itself would've been better, if Ambrose came back. But the way it played out, it was alright, with Reigns standing tall.

I'm back to being disappointed with Raw. I didn't even finish this week's episode, it had it's moments early on and I did really enjoy the Swagger and Rusev build for Battleground as well as the Jericho and Wyatt segment. However, there was a lot of stuff I had little to no interest in at all.
I find the current Nikki Bella stuff boring, but I guess they have to find something for her to do. Paige kissing AJ's ass is dreadful, but I guess it means there'll be one decent Divas match at Battleground.

I'm surprised the diva's interactions didn't tickle you (and not because you're a woman).
In my view, the divas are being treated to storylines with some integrity.

Some of the storylines have been good, I can't deny that.
I'm really glad that Naomi and Cameron are feuding. AJ and Paige will deliver a good match, but I'm just hoping that feud doesn't last too long and Naomi gets the push that she was due before she got injured.
If I actually liked or even respected Nikki I'd be more invested in that storyline.
I think the fact that I don't like a lot of the divas doesn't help.
