this was a cool Raw, good segment after good segment. Hope Smackdown can keep the train going, especially with Nakamura as a heel now.
  • the Steph/Rousey segment was a great way to start. Not only did Ronda have an amazing debut but she also managed to get even more over by breaking Steph's already broken arm again. Can we make this Ronda's gimmick and just have her break Steph's arm every week lmao
  • Ember Moon debuting was also amazing, I just hope they don't expose her on the mic right away because that's not what she's known for lol. Talking about mic-work, Nia Jax sounds so unauthentic on a microphone, it baffles me how people cheered for what she was saying. Nia Jax just said "shut up Alexa" as if we're on an elementary school playground, and people reacted to this as if it was Supa Hot Fire or smth. I don't know, Nia looks like a monster but talks like a little girl, especially as a babyface now.
  • I said this back when he debuted in NXT, but No Way Jose is just a revival of Adam Rose's party gimmick and it probably still won't work lol. Maybe it will become a funny thing like Fandango did for a while, but it will never turn into anything serious. So I don't know where they envision this going but I wouldn't be shocked if he gets repackaged in a year or 2.
  • The whole Seth/Finn/Miz segment was sick as well, "that's really big of you to admit that you cried man, because that's what everyone else does when they watch you try to wrestle", good lord. I'm surprised that they cut that out of their YouTube video, that was a killer line, in kayfabe or not.
  • Paige announcing her retirement was bound to happen but it's nice that she got to do it on a night as special as the Raw after Mania. On a side note tho, did she get work done on her face? She looks really different to me, or does she just wear 2 more layers of make up now? She just looks and even sounds like a mess as of late too.
  • I thought Lashley was gonna have a bigger return angle than what he got against Elias and I hope they don't keep him a babyface for long before people get sick of him again like they did in 07.
  • the Authors of Pain debuting was obvious, yet way overdue. I actually read that Paul Ellering was the reason why didn't debut earlier because he didn't like the traveling schedule, which makes even more sense now that they just dropped him in their first match on the main roster. I hope they don't turn into the Ascension because I'm not that confident in their work, given that their best matches were fortunate enough to include some of the best wrestlers in NXT at the time.
  • I thought this was the perfect opportunity for Reigns to turn heel and go into his final match with Lesnar as a heel. Obviously, any week is a good week to finally turn him heel but now it would have fit into the story perfectly. He got his ass kicked clean as a whistle, now he's gotta be pissed, but they didn't pull the trigger yet again. Instead, we had Joe cut an amazing promo on Reigns. Samoa Joe has to be one of the smoothest talkers they have in the company right now, from the calm and collected sound of his voice to the deliverance of his lines, it was just a good segment all around.
  • love their new approach on Bray's character, seeing Bray smile makes me smile. And not in a psychotic way like he used to smile, but in a genuine way. Their backstage segment with Brother Nero was fun and heartwarming, made Bray seem like a human for once and I actually liked it a lot.
  • Zayn/Owens are probably gonna have something to do with the shake up next week but good god, that TNA line by Kurt was insane on so many levels, you can tell the crowd couldn't recover from it and only started listening to the rest of the segment after like 15 seconds again lol.
Looks like this "Greatest Royal Rumble" show, as unoriginal as the name is, is gonna have a stacked card. It's also not a small event either, there are gonna be over 60k people in that stadium for that show, so I'm really interested in how everything's gonna look and feel once they're over there. What's kinda odd about their match announcements tonight is how they announced the matches before any of the segments went down so we already got the message of Joe being in the IC title match before he even made his comeback or mentioned that he was coming after Reigns at Backlash smh

This was good episode of Raw. Raw after Mania always tries to be special. They are trying to recapture the magic of Raw after Mania 29, which I think is a bit of a uphill battle. The crowd was great tho (probably because of all the europeans).

Even though Wreslemania kinda made me sick of wrestling, im pretty excited to see whats going to happen next. The most interesting thing from this Raw for me is Kevin and Sami. Really good characters and I wanna know what they are going to do next.

This wasn't the best post Mania RAW I think but when you got such lively crowds it's always really fun so gave it a 7/10 overall. Quick thoughts:

- Well, the rumor was out there that they'd be trying to recreate the Vince/Austin storyline with Stephanie and Ronda and by the looks of it, that's exactly where they're headed.Though I won't deny me being skeptical of the idea (can't really compare Austin to Ronda and sure as hell Stephanie ain't no Vince), I'm more than willing to give it some time so I'll leave it at that for now...

- Nice call ups from NXT overall and most certainly much needed to get these rosters bolstered.

- Had expressed my not so possitive thoughts about what they did with Braun Strowman and the tag team championship yesterday while rating Mania and, well, here we are 24 hours later and he already relinquished the belt. After doing so (and good job to Nicholas by the way), I honestly thought Braun's next words would be that he's challenging for the Universal Championship instead but...guess not. And why is that?

- Cause apparently Roman Reigns gets ANOTHER chance? And how exactly does that make any sense? Didn't he have his chance two days ago and lost clean in the middle of the ring? Isn't he supposed to go back in line and work his way back up? Isn't that how things usually work?

- Man did I miss Samoe Joe. Another fantastic promo...

- Nice idea to have KO and Sami Zayn visiting Kurt Angle backstage "looking for a job" and there is no denial that Angle had the money line of the year: "I hear TNA is hiring" :booker2:....litterally LMAO, hahahahaha.....

- Bobby Lashley...wow...phenomenal shape...

- Who would have thought it would be Woken Matt Hardy to come in and "save" Bray Wyatt but it seems to be working and I'm liking it...

- For such a show, I have to agree the main event didn't feel like a proper ending...

- So...superstar shake up starts next week and that's always fun. I ain't going to bore you with full predictions and whatnot but will say this: if there is one person on Smackdown that desperately needs a change of scenery, that would be Becky Lynch and I'm thinking her moving to RAW should be a lock. Need be and just to make things even, I'd probably keep Asuka on Smackdown. Furthermore, I'd definetely swap the Uso's for Anderson and Gallows, two teams that again I feel need a change of scenery; in Anderson and Gallow's case, I'd add the word "desperate" next to change....

Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn: This was a good math and told the story well.

Math you say?

Speaking of...Samoa Joe, one of the most underrated talkers today.

I give it a 7/10. Not the best Raw-After Mania, but was at least a fun show.

I meant to put Math just to see if anyone notices it. *quickly fixes mistake*

Also, gg for posting that video and I do agree Joe is an underrated talker.

I thought it was weird to have Stephanie open the show, but the segment was fine.

The tag match was whatever. I hate the Nia v Alexa story, I thought the "My partner is Ember Moon" was awkward as hell, but at least the match was good. I'm so glad Ember didn't beat Asuka's streak, she can do good matches but I honestly don't see her going far unless she gets some serious character development ASAP. I'd argue she was brought up too soon, since she hasn't developed who she truly is in developmental, and I think that will hurt her

Sooooooo Braun Strowman killing everyone in the tag division and killing the Bar was for nothing? Delightful

I popped for No Way Jose, after all, dude's the WWE Champion over on Greg Valentine's Tuesdays, but after seeing such amazing local talent matches on 205 Live, this two move ten second squash was a bit annoying, especially with the three minutes of dancing before hand

Man, how the mighty have fallen. Two years ago, The Club were the hottest team in the world, last year, Revival were the hottest act in the world, now I couldn't see them going near the titles. Don't get me wrong, if either got a push I'd be behind them, but I just can't see it

The promo was very good. Miz stumbled on his lines a little, but he's still the king of promos. I'm curious how they're going to play off Dad Miz in the future

Sasha suck, she really sucks, give me a whole forest because I'm throwing all the shade at her. I'm happy to see her lose, I really hope Bayley destroys her next week, and even though I don't want her anywhere near any titles, I can sadly see her becoming a 20 time women's champion because she was kinda cool in NXT that one time three years ago. Just forget she's been awful for the bast three years, because she had a couple of good moments back then

Bobby Lashley, oh I love you. It's too bad he can't use the spear because of big boy big dog, since I truly believe Lashley has the best spear in wrestling history (haven't seen much of Rhyno, I heard he had a great one, but I still love Lashley's)

I HEARD TNA WAS HIRING
TNA

Jesus, there's something I never expected to hear ever, my mouth went agape after that

AoP debuting was nice, but I'm a bit bummed about Paul Ellering. He was one of the best parts of AoP, and those two monster definitely need a mouthpiece, but oh well. I'm surprised this wasn't a Tag Team Eliminator... what a name

Roman Reigns whatever

This match was good but I'm super sick today so I'm just going to breeze past it

Really good match, not the biggest fan of the ending. With both losing, they'll probably both get a spot, but I liked the idea of one getting a spot and the other being forced into a confusing limbo

Generic six man, I still feel like shit, I'm out

7/10

Thats bullshit if thats true. Bobby has a great spear, better than Romans. If I had Rhyno on my roster I would have him bust out a gore every week. I cant think of the last time ive seen a GORE

I mean, at one point we had Bobby Lashley using the spear, Edge using the spear, Batista using it...JUST MORE PEOPLE USE THE SPEAR, IT ISN'T A MOVE "EXCLUSIVE" TO ANYONE AND IT HAS WORKED AS A SIGNATURE AND A FINISHER!

To be fair Edge's Spear was the weakest and looked more like a hug than anything.

Charlotte's using the spear, Goldberg used the spear last year too. I think it's more about the value of the spear rather than only letting a certain person use it. If Bobby were to use the spear again, WWE would have to make sure that he'd keep the credibility of the move going by winning big matches with it, and I don't know if the fed's sure about what they wanna do with Lashley yet
