WWE has decided that it's product isn't keeping fans happy, so endless commercial breaks will!

I've literally given up this time, I'm only sticking to PPVs now. Look at the champion line up, it should be great right now. But it's not and I'm just done doing my part.:kshrug:

I sometimes wish I could do that. I mean there is plenty of other wrestling to watch and I do watch it. But for some reason, maybe because I have been doing it so long, I just feel inclined to watch, even if it sucks. But yeah, the shows are just getting so bad. Hell, it was more interesting in the early 1990's back when they still have jobber matches on Raw like Yokozuna vs Barry Horowitz or Undertaker vs Iron Mike Sharpe. Hell, Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs some guy we've never heard of would be more interesting.

Y'all wanna join me over in the Smackdown section?

It's like watching Raw, except... without... being Raw, you know? :haha:

As to Shadow's point it reminds me of that SuperSmackdown match between Ambrose vs Ziggler vs Owens. Like damn, all three of these guys are so talented but we should be SOOOOO much more emotionally invested in a triple-threat match for the "workhorse" title, you know?

2/10

Honestly... Other than the mug shot laughs I had. It wasn't good. I felt like they rushed it and it was like no one put effort into it cause it is the end of the year.

It should've been the PPV match, with the next couple of weeks building our interest. But noooo, let's have it with 0 build because we moved stations! Now Ziggler is phased out, and that means Owens or Ambrose will have to be pinned. You know what, that's just what they need!:idk:

The opening segment wasn't that great, but I at least liked the idea behind Vince being arrested. Would have been much better though if Reigns had had someone in the back play footage up on the titan-tron of Stephanie slapping poor innocent Tom Phillips last week and had her arrested for assault as well right alongside Vince. Two McMahons being lead to jail side by side while HHH is forced to watch at home fuming would have been excellent. But whatever.

KO losing in ten seconds didn't particularly bother me. It was pretty much a fluke victory, and while a victory nonetheless, I like it when matches sometimes end this quickly as it reinforces that feeling that anything can happen in a fight at any moment, much like in combat sports when guys are fighting for real, or any other form of competition for that matter. The football term "any given Sunday" comes to mind. It also allowed Owens a legitimate reason to be pissed off and go on a rampage, which gave us the best singular moment of Raw:

2DCxAFb.gif

(Unfortunaely, no gif yet exists of KO power-bombing Ambrose through the table, which was easily the second best moment of Raw.)

Can hardly think of anything else that was particularly noteworthy, as per usual. I was a little surprised Cena didn't reclaim the United States Championship, since the notion of Cena standing tall after having won his belt back sounded like the ideal way they'd want to end the last Raw of 2015, but eh.

Mind if I play devil's advocate on this one?

-They at least advertised something in advance on that show, the tag title match. (Probably would have been better to announce that three guys closest to being over were wrestling, but... baby steps)

-They probably shouldn't be having a match at the Rumble. Should they really be pulling double duty on that show? It's possible, but it's also possible that they can put Sasha on PPV or pay Brock Lesnar (if they don't plan on him winning) to kill someone (thankfully it won't be fucking Big Show) instead of having these guys wrestle a long match before rumbling royally

-The way they used Kevin Owens on Raw actually sounds awesome. He had a reason to snap and he did. He lost his belt, got his rematch and lost it without being pinned, got screwed out of a Slammy, etc... This was the best bit of character development in a long time, the problem is that Raw's built so much of a reputation of "watch it to participate in the LD" that after seeing 22 minutes of Vince getting arrested, 22 seconds of Neville vs Owens will leave a bad taste in your mouth

-Owens jobbing in this feud won't hurt him at all (but I worry about Ambrose, at least he's staying away from this LoN crap. "Oh but he's a bad frie-" shut it)

But to your point, it did have a bit of build from the week before - build that didn't get over, but that Superkick at the end of SD that week kinda counts - but whatever build you have doesn't work if you don't announce the match in advance lol

You know the drill. Vote above and give your thoughts below!

Raw Results:
vince-mcmahon-mugshot.jpg

– The show opened with a bizarre segment in which Mr. McMahon brought out Roman Reigns and insulted him until Reigns shoved him, so he could claim he was injured and have Reigns arrested. Stephanie McMahon ordered Reigns be arrested, but security refused, saying Stephanie’s attitude would get her arrested first. Vince miraculously “healed,” confronted security and put his hands on them, which got him arrested. He was taken out of the arena and WWE shared his “mugshot,” which you can see above.

1. Neville defeated Kevin Owens. Neville countered a pop-up powerbomb into a rollup to win in about 20 seconds. Owens attacked him for several minutes after the match, including a second attack after a commercial break.

2. Sasha Banks defeated Becky Lynch. Team B.A.D. helped cheat for Banks throughout the match. Banks pinned Lynch with a handful of tights after countering a Disarmer into a rollup.

3. Kalisto defeated Kofi Kingston. Kalisto won with a rollup. After the match, Xavier Woods insulted Sin Cara, and volunteered Big E as his opponent.

4. Big E defeated Sin Cara. Sin Cara appeared to injure his shoulder during the match. Big E won with the Big Ending.

– An episode of Miz TV saw him get interrupted by Ryback, Goldust, Zack Ryder, R-Truth, Heath Slater and finally Big Show. Big Show knocked out Slater and a brawl broke out, leading to a Show vs. Ryback match. Show entered himself in the Royal Rumble.

5. Ryback defeated Big Show. Big Show got himself counted-out on purpose.

6. The League of Nations (Sheamus, Rusev and King Barrett) defeated Dean Ambrose and The Usos. Sheamus won the match for his team with a Brogue Kick. After the match, Kevin Owens attacked Dean Ambrose and powerbombed him through the Spanish announce table.

7. United States Championship Match: John Cena defeated Alberto Del Rio (c) via DQ.
Before the match, Cena insulted Del Rio until he made the match a championship match. Cena fought off Sheamus and Rusev, then had Del Rio beaten with an Attitude Adjustment until they interfered again, drawing a disqualification. The Usos tried to make the save, but were attacked by the League. Roman Reigns showed up and made the save instead.

Vince McMahon returned and set up a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match for next week: Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus, with himself as the special guest referee.

Yeee Gods...The **Same Old Crap!!!!! :( What can I say, Vice sure got out of jail *fast,* and him being a 'guest referee?' He *does* have a license to be a Ref, yes? Just kidding....we all know where this is going, right? How about this for a match? WWE VS ROH *all/every single wrestler*in the cage at the same time, just pulverizing each other...no belt..just blood...and guts...and ratings...and $$$$...

sasha vs becky was super sloppy. It's like they couldn't get on the same page at all
