Rate this week's Raw in our poll and make sure to let us know what you thought of the show!

Opening

Seth Rollins came to the ring and he claimed he wanted to face Triple H. He told the crowd that the only way he could get to Triple H, however, was by taking the Universal title from Kevin Owens. Furthermore, he also said in order to take the title from KO, he had to get rid of Chris Jericho first.

Kevin Owens then came out to interrupt Rollins, but Seth stopped him and questioned KO about his friendship with Jericho. Owens told Rollins that he and Jericho were fine because best friends tend to fight. He told Rollins that he wouldn't know about that, however, because he doesn't have any friends. Owens said he got some presents for Jericho and specifically three presents.

Owens claimed he was a fighting champion, so Rollins challenged him to a title match tonight. Owens declined because he had already defended the belt against Rollins and won, plus he already had a match tonight. Owens then talked about the gifts he gave Jericho. The first is a United States title match vs Roman Reigns tonight. The second is a match with Rollins at Roadblock. The third is a match tonight with Rollins vs the Big Show.

Big Show vs Seth Rollins

Kevin Owens kept barking orders at Big Show throughout the match. Show finally had enough of it and he grabbed Kevin Owens and slammed him into the ring. Big Show then walked away from the match and Seth Rollins won by count out. Big Show applauded Rollins before leaving. After the match, Rollins hit Owens with a pedigree.

Jack Gallagher vs Ariya Devari

Jack Gallagher defeated Devari by pin fall.

Backstage

Kevin Owens came across Mick Foley and claimed he was attacked unfairly and shouldn't have to have a match with Sami Zayn. He told Foley that if Stephanie was there, he wouldn't have the match. Foley told KO that Stephanie was not there and he would be having the match. Foley walked away and came across Chris Jericho. He asked Jericho if he heard about the gifts he had gotten him. Jericho claimed he hadn't. KO then explained the gifts to Jericho and then asked Jericho if he and Jericho "were good." Jericho told Owens no and walked away.

Enzo and Cass were talking and noticed Rusev and Lana talking close to them. Enzo got angry because it appeared that Rusev was raising his voice to Lana and Enzo didn't lie that. Enzo came over and Rusev told him to mind his own business. Lana told Rusev that Enzo was only trying to help. Rusev seemed to imply that she was cheating. Lana took her ring off and asked Rusev if he understood what the ring meant. She explained that it meant that Rusev was the only man who could have her. She then threw the ring at him. Rusev left. Enzo picked up Lana's ring and gave it back to her before asking her how she was doing. Lana looked appreciative.

After a commercial break, Enzo and Lana were still talking. She was telling Enzo about her problems and that Rusev didn't appreciate her. She told Enzo that Rusev needed to be taught a lesson and she invited Enzo to her hotel room.

Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn

Kevin Owens defeated Zayn by pin fall.

Sasha Banks Promo

After talking about her victory the previous week, Sasha challenged Charlotte to an iron man match at Roadblock.

Rich Swann vs TJ Perkins

Rich Swann won by pin fall.

Bayley vs Alicia Fox

Bayley won in quick fashion by pin fall.

The Tussle in Texas: Mark Henry vs Titus O'Neil

Mark Henry won by pin fall

BackStage

Enzo is talking to Ric Flair. Flair loans Enzo his limo to go to Lana's hotel.

United States Title Match: Chris Jericho vs Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns retained the US Championship by pin fall.

Big Cass vs Rusev

This match never took place because Rusev was at the hotel with Lana. She invited Enzo in and pretended to be coming on to him. However, when she got him to take his pants off, she called him a fool. Rusev then attacked and laid out Enzo while Cass watched from the Raw arena.

#1 Contenders Match: Sheamus and Cesaro vs Gallows and Anderson

A brawl broke out among the teams and the New Day. No winner nor a number one contender were announced.

Ric Flair and Charlotte

Charlotte is in the ring and she gets a "what" chant. She calls herself a cold hearted bitch when she fired him. She calls Flair out to offer him an apology. Charlotte offers Ric an apology and a hug. However, Charlotte punches Ric and knocks him back in the ropes. She yells at him for endorsing Banks last week. Sasha comes out to defend Ric. Charlotte, however, gets the upper hand and beats the crap out of Sasha while Ric cries again. She then leaves Sasha at Ric's feet and leaves.

I gave this show a 7. I slept really late and missed it live, so I was able to fast forward past the stuff that didn't interest me and the commercials, so perhaps it seemed more entertaining than it was. But it was a decent show.

I liked the story telling in this episode. The segments with Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens were good. The segments with Lana and Enzo were played out pretty well also. I am guessing Big Cass will get Rusev at Roadblock and I'm very interested in seeing it.

Although I was hoping the Charlotte/Sasha Banks feud was over, I have to admit I want to see this iron match a lot. However let's drop the Ric Flair crying thing. That is so annoying. Really. I really wouldn't be too shocked if Ric turns on Sasha and helps Charlotte win. I will be REALLY pissed if it happens though. I mean, Charlotte doesn't need another title, only to have Banks win in back before the Rumble. It's time for Banks to win at the PPV and end the feud.

The Jericho/Reigns match and the Owens/Zayn match were both enjoyable. I can't say I was impressed by any of the others. I have to admit the Big Show match was entertaining though when Show got pissed and laid out Owens. If Big Show is going to be back, I obviously prefer him to be a face. His heel character just grates on my nerves more.

Anyway, those are my thoughts. A decent show.

Next week, Ric should come out to the ring and take off his belt and say, "I'm going to do what I should have done a long time ago. Charlotte, you might be 30 years old, but you're never to big to get a whooping."

~ Okay...we open with more Rollins, Owens, Jericho, Reigns stuff...I don't care.

~ Seth Rollins vs. The Big Show...Nice beard Show...I still don't care.

~ Cruiserweights...I don't care.

~ Great...Kevin Owens is wrestling Sami Zayn...again.

~ Didn't we do the Rusev & Lana break up thing last year? And wasn't it like the
worst thing ever?

~ Wow...Kevin Owens defeated Sami Zayn...making their amazing Battleground match
mean nothing. Thanks for that.

~ Look...Chris Jericho is talking to a cardboard cut out of Roman Reigns...Oh Wait...
That actually is Roman Reigns...sorry...I always make that mistake.

tumblr_ohqsfhaIzV1u5adeso2_r1_540.png

~ Okay...if Sasha is the Champion...why is she calling out Charlotte for an IronWoman
Match? That also happened with their Hell in A Cell match. Why would a Champion call
out the challenger...isn't it suppose to be the other way round?

Also...can't someone else have a turn?

~ Cruiserweights...I still don't care. I would if they were on SmackDown...Just saying.

~ Hey look...Alicia Fox is getting some TV time *Watches* And there goes Alicia Fox.
Seriously...Bayley needs a new finisher.

~ Wow...first The Big Show...now Mark Henry...shouldn't these guys be fighting Lunch
McHardBody?

~ Oh No...Ric Flair is here...making everyone and everything seem older.

~ And Roman Reigns defeated Chris Jericho...Of course he did. Can someone swap one of
Roman's urine samples with a crackheads...60 days without Roman would be fantastic.

~ And this Enzo/Cass/Rusev/Lana angle is already annoying me. Rusev is so much better
than this.

~ And speaking of wrestlers who deserve better...there is Cesaro...still being teamed
with Sheamus...fighting Gallows & Anderson...with the New Day watching. I...I can't
handle this...RAW just seems like the same show over and over again.

~ And there it is...Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks in a 30 minute IronWoman Match at
RoadBlock...and it just keeps going on and on. I wonder what the next match they
have will be...Ladder Match? Inferno Match? (No...their hair could catch fire)
Buried Alive Match? (Actually...I'd like to see that)

Okay...so I love Women's wrestling...and Charlotte and Sasha are both amazing
performers...I mean I literally worship Charlotte...but I think the WWE is pushing both of
them too hard now. This segment should not have been the "main event" of RAW.

I also have to state that I am really, really pissed off that Ric Flair is once
again hanging around the Women's title scene. I never liked Ric hanging around
before and I was so happy when Charlotte ditched him. But now he's back...and it
makes this rivalry seem even more boring and played out.

G...I wonder what will happen...will Ric side with Sasha only to betray her at
RoadBlock costing her the title and allowing Charlotte to remain undefeated in
singles matches on Pay Per View?

God...this really annoys me...WWE has taken something I was really invested in
and ruined it by dragging it on for too long and forcing some old has-been back into
the story.

Oh...and just one more point...

~ WHERE THE HELL IS EMMA(LINA)?!?!?!

rage2.jpg

(Edit after the fact: Okay...so we finally get Emma(lina)
next week. I missed that promo...so my bad. I'm guessing
she'll appear next week, beat down or insult Bayley and
they'll have a match at RoadBlock)

Well...at least Alexa Bliss & Bray Wyatt are champions now...I just have to focus
on the positives...which means focusing just on SmackDown I guess.

~ I'm Done.

I honestly think they have run out of ideas for these two in terms of putting them in matches with each other and they are *fingers crossed* hoping no one notices.
CAT IS OUT OF BAG. I REPEAT. CAT IS OUT OF BAG! WWE, we all know... We all see it... we are all getting sick of it.
The matches are almost always good but the feud itself has become horrific. I am not and never was a Sasha fan, I do like Charlotte now and hate to admit that is thanks to Sasha... But... yeah.
I think it is about time you either let Charlotte have it or Sasha have it and have another woman move in to the picture.

This is becoming a feud like that couple we all know... They have a few big fights and you are like WHOA! INSANE!... Then you realize it just keeps happening and nothing is ever really changing so you get sick of hearing about their drama.

Did not watch/10

Glad to see it is improving though. I will still stick to PPVs and watching recaps till I know my disappointment level wont be so high. 3 hours is too much of a commitment. :cat2:

I gave it a 6/10. it was an alright show but still pretty boring.

I was actually alright with Big Show returning. Looks like he shed a few pounds.

Lana and Rusev are on some KGB shiy

Charlotte looked damn good tonight :p

The cruiserweights are still shit. They need to give the title to someone who can make it seem important (Xaiver Woods maybe?)

Also the show would of been 10/10 if Jericho won the US title. I have a feeling they are gonna let Roman hold the Universal and US title just like how Seth held the World and US title :confused2:

As explained the other day, my work schedule was pretty hectic, to the point I literally didn’t get the chance to share any kind of thoughts since Survivor Series. Heck, I haven’t even made a comment yet regarding Golberg and Lesnar but this isn’t the time and place so I’ll have to revisit that matter at another time.

Anyway, things are kind of back to normal and here’s a good opportunity to get some things off my chest:

1) I’ve had just about enough with Roman Reigns, to the point it’s become disgusting. WWE have to realize that no matter how hard they try, they will never and can never force anyone upon us. If the fans will like somebody, they will make sure they are heard and cheer the guy or gal and if they don’t, well, they’ll simply boo just like Roman Reigns gets constantly booed out of every single arena in every event every fucking week. If the fans will approve, even freaking James Ellsworth can go over and if not, you know the drill. Ha, even fucking Ellsworth is more over that Roman Reigns. Think about that for a second...

Now, I’ve made it perfectly clear time and again that I am not a Roman hater but unfortunately WWE is really pushing me towards that direction because one can only take so much shit. I mean, what happened last night? From the walls of Jericho to a KO super kick to the code breaker and he STILL kicks out? And then one spear leads him to victory? Get the fuck out of here. It’s the same old story over and over again. Remember Hell in a Cell? Rusev destroyed him, had him in one of the most devastating accolades using a chain in the process and…then what? God forbid Roman powered out, one spear and that’s that. Enough of this shit already.

Not for nothing, I’d take Goldberg’s spear any day of the week, twice on Sundays. As for the Superman punch? Pff, I bet you Cesaro’s uppercut is twice as devastating and powerful.

Another thing: what has happened ever since he won the US title? I’ll tell you what: absolutely nothing. I kept screaming about why it would be a mistake to take the title off Rusev and, well, everything is now unfolding before our very eyes. You got Roman carrying it around like some backpack, like it means nothing, like garbage, you have him constantly booked in the main event and now he's aiming for the Universal title as well. Rusev, meanwhile, is stuck with some Bold and Beautiful storyline picking on Enzo. Seriously? Like we didn’t have enough of that drama with Rusev and Ziggler and Lana and Summer Rae already? Is this honestly the best you can do with Rusev? Granted, the end game will obviously be a match with Big Cass but still, does this really sound or feel okay?

And as all of this is happening, you have the Universal Champion, your supposedly top guy holding the top prize constantly being booked like crap, getting pinned in the middle of the ring on a Monday Night RAW clean and becoming more or less a sidekick to the List of Jericho. How on earth does any of this make any God damn sense? How the fuck is Roman Reigns with a secondary belt more important then your Universal Champion? Why should Roman be any more important then KO to begin with? Their move sets? The mic skills that are day and night? What?

So what’s going to happen now at Roadblock. Is Roman going to become a double champion so Vince and Dunn and crew can stroke their cocks in joy and ecstasy? Oh yeah, Roman Reigns, the Peter North of wrestling. Get the fuck out of here…

2) How much more of this back and forth between Charlotte and Sash can we handle and at which point do we say enough is enough? Don’t get me wrong, the feud has been great and they’ve had some incredible matches throughout it but isn’t there a time where superstars move on to their next feuds respectively? How much longer can they actually drag this thing? And, what, is Charlotte going to recapture the belt at Roadblock given her undefeated PPV streak? Is this going to be another two week reign for Sasha? Roughly a year and Sasha is a 3 time RAW Women’s champ? Seriously?

What about Bailey? Where’s the follow up to the ending of Survivor Series? How about Nia Jax? You know, that monster you’ve been building only to have her fucking tap out at Survivor Series in like 3 seconds? I understand the division is weak and with little star power to work with but COME ON…

3) I am honestly counting days so that New Day can finally break that damn record because in the process of doing so, the tag team division is hurting and it’s hurting bad. Gallows and Anderson are constantly booked like idiots, Cesaro and Sheamus are sort of stuck and then Enzo and Cass, the most over team by far are being wasted in comedy acts. We all love Enzo, we all love some good jokes but how about some serious business?

Other than that:

- it only took WWE two months to realize that "oh shit, we still have that Triple H and Rollins storyline"...

- PG era sucks. If this were the Attitude Era, that robe Lana was wearing was coming off. DAMN YOU PG ERA :p

- On a side note, how about the often use of the word "bitch" all of a sudden? Meh, still would have preferred some puppies !!!! as Lawler would put it...

- Like a fellow member above noted, I too am kind of annoyed with the Ric Flair drama...

I only saw the last 2 hours. (Which is all it should be...but anyways lol)

From what I saw I'd go with a 6. It was ok but definitely had its dry spots.

I did enjoy the hotel scene. More so the beat down. That was pretty cool. I'm really digging the outside scenes. The Cesaro sheamus bar scene last week. The hotel this week. Keep em coming.

Charlotte looked damn good tonight :p
That much is true..
This is becoming a feud like that couple we all know... They have a few big fights and you are like WHOA! INSANE!... Then you realize it just keeps happening and nothing is ever really changing so you get sick of hearing about their drama.
True...but this is even worse because they aren't actually a couple...

*Thinks for a Moment*

Jesus...Imagine if they went that route for this feud. It turns out all
along it was just sexual tension...lol

I'm kidding of course...they'd never do that...not that I'd have a
problem with it. Anyway...moving on...
Is Roman going to become a double champion so Vince and Dunn and crew can stroke their cocks in joy and ecstasy?
Ewww...Now there is some A-Grade nightmare fuel...

*Thinks about Charlotte & Sasha having a private workout*

That's better...
Oh yeah, Roman Reigns, the Peter North of wrestling. Get the fuck out of here…
Please don't insult Peter North...the man is a legend and he has a
bigger fan base than Roman Reigns. lol
What about Bayley? Where’s the follow up to the ending of Survivor Series? How about Nia Jax? You know, that monster you’ve been building only to have her fucking tap out at Survivor Series in like 3 seconds? I understand the division is weak and with little star power to work with but COME ON…
Well...I guess WWE creative changed their minds and it has literally left Bayley in limbo...and
Nia Jax...I'm pretty sure she just got her ass kicked by Asuka again in Japan for an NXT show.

RAW was good and enjoyable. 7/10

They set things up for 205 Live, as well as for next week and for Roadblock.

That's three strong RAWs in three weeks, man. Amazing! Plus, having no Stephanie on the show helps.

Positives:
- The opening segment with Rollins and KO was solid. It set the stage for Roadblock and I'm glad Rollins has finally addressed the HHH situation. Plus, the segment not lasting 20 minutes helped. Also, Big Show vs Rollins and the post-match stuff was exactly what it needed to be.

- Gallagher vs Daivari was exactly what it needed to be - a showcase for The Extraordinary Gentleman.

- KO vs Zayn was good and fun. Damn, their chemistry is incredible! I loved everything they did.
Fun fact: KO hasn't pulled out a Tope con Hilo since his NXT debut match against CJ Parker. So, that was very cool. Also, it's cool that he won clean. That's how you book your champion!

- Sasha's promo was OK.

- Swann vs TJP was rock solid given the time constraint.

- Mark Henry squashed Titus in like 20 seconds. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That was awesome!

- Rusev continues to be gold. I oddly enjoyed all those segments regarding Enzo/Lana/Cass and Rusev. Also, LOL'd at Rusev referring to Enzo as "Enzio".

- Reigns vs Y2J was good and the JeriKO drama at the end of the match was expected.

- Cesaro & Sheamus vs Gallows & Anderson was rock solid. The New Day getting involved made a nice set up for next week's triple-threat, where Gallows and Anderson will get pinned by The New Day again. LOL

- The closing segment with Charlotte and Ric was good. Charlotte's promos are usually a hit or miss, but she killed it here.

Negatives:
- None.

Just skimmed through it. Charlotte's promo work at the end is so good, so entertaining.

Didn't watch all of it but to be honest the segments I didn't catch that I read about would've probably knocked it from a 6 to a 5.
