Hello and welcome to the Rate raw and raw recap! as always rate in the poll above share your thoughts below, as i recap and review monday night raw! enjoy!

Spoiler: Recap and Review of RAW! for October 14th 2019!

Firefly Fun House Recap

We styart off the show tonight with a firefly fun house recap, basicly recapping the fued between the fiend and seth rollins, and yes, includiong the hell in a cell match.

And then we get the intro to the show pyro and all and we get to the proper opening to the show, we start with The Man.


Becky Lynch Kicks Off The Show

Becky comes out grabs a mic, crowds hyped fror the show, and notably fi you were in chat and saw my post i was in pain but thats gone sos yay!

Beckys ays the man has come aroiund to denver. becky expected to beat up sasha but turns out she cant because sasha is hurt, she says the woman she fights tonight she cant seem to get rid of, but every time we step into this rting its a war, she said she came ready to rip somebodies arm off...and then Charlottes music hits.

ofcourse the winner of this match determiens which brand gets first pick in tonights draft.

Charlotte gets a mic poses in the ring, she says becks who knows, maybe this nightmare will never end and i'll get drafted to raw and we will fight forevber, i dont want this anymore then you do, i dont wanna take oppertunity after oppertunity, i dont want you all to think im selfish, i just wanna be friends again, becks i miss you, i just wanna be your firend..and then BAM charlotte smacks becky witht he mic, she says DAMN YOIU MAKE IT SO HARD TO BE YOUR FRIEND

And then Charlotte starst laying in ther hits and becky responds with her own and they beat the hell out of eachother, lefts and rights punchs kicks refs come down to seperate them as we go to commercial.


Becky Lynch VS Charlotte Flair

So we come back and charlottes music is playing again for some reason, the match starts immediately they start brawling again but becky takes control, slamming charlotte into a corner and stomping her in the ref becks her away, thenn charlotte turns it around and starts kicking becky, useing her foot to choke her on the rope and hits her in the corner. Charlotte then goes for a back suplex but becky dodges they trade blows. Charlotte gets a near fall from a rollup, becky tries a rollupo but charlotte stops her, then becky does a leg sweep and gets charloote back in the corner but charlotte smashes her down.

Charlotte grabs beckys head with her legs and keeps hold while slamming them in and keeps the leg based headlock in, and then eventualy slams beckys head in again. This is a odddly sexualy hold here lol, iShe rolls and slams beck into the corner and does a kip up, charges at becky who gets her legs up but that doesnt stop charlotte from hitting her and laying her out.

Charlotte gets a nearfall but becky just slides out with great core strength, charlotte gets becky in the corner lays in the chops, drags her by the hair slams becky a bit, shioves her. Becky throws charlotte to the corner but she leaps around and htis becky, stuff happens at the corner but becky knocks charlotte to the outside, goes to dive but it doesnt work, and charlotte slams becky into the ring post as we go to commercial.

Becky has control and makes her comeback hits a nice kick, she hits another to the mid section and shoulder tackles charlotte down. charlottes in the corner becky kicks her climbs to the top rope and does a missle dropkick for the nearfall. becky chants as charlotte misses a big boot and becky tries another dropklick and charlotte reverses it into a boston crab.

Becky crawls and crawls to the bottom rope but charlotte pulls her back to the center of the ring, tries to do afigure 4 but becky knocks charlotte out fo the ring, slides out with a dropkick and clams charlotte down, gets her back in the ring

Damn it then i have tech issues lol, as we come back from my tech issues charlotte goes for figure 4 becky knocks her into the corner and nearly gets a pin, becky hits a top rope leg drop for a nearfall.

Becky goes for the DisArmher but Charlotte counters and hits a spear for the nearfall. Charlotte slams the matt in anger, shes frustaighted and then chuckleing, then becky rolls charlotte for the pin, which was oddly quick, either way Becky wins with the rollup, Raw gets the first pick fo the draft.

We got seth rollings backstage with lady person, she says we saw Bray get drafted to smackdown but yalls issues doesnt seem resolved. Seth says today sia good day, because its draft day and we ar elive in the mile high city, he says your right, bray doesnt care about the draft he goes where i go, he says i thought i dealt with him at HIAC, i thought i ended it (crowd booos) but the fiend...he doesnt seem human, he dragged me to hell but i escaped, and then i understood, vie been goign about this all wrong, vie been trying to move forward with my life, but the fiend is just picking his spots, and that ends tonight because tonight...im going fiend hunting.


WWE Draft Round 1

So steph mcmahon comes out. she says welcoem to the final night of the draft, she goe son that USA and FOX have influience and all that. And goes on to announce which brand gets who.

Raw gets Universal champuon Seth Rollins

Smackdown gets WWE champion Brock Lesnar

Raw gets Charlotte Flair

Smackdown gets The New Day

And for the final pick of thsi round, Raw gets Andrade and Zelina Vega, who come out not long after and Zellina cuts a promo about how Andrade was selected in the same round as brock and seth for a reason...and they ar ein action next.

Andrade VS Ali

Well we come in during the match it already started during the commercials so this si gonna be hard to follow lol.

Already we got come back and forth but Andrade takes control. and already they are going too fast for me to recap, espacially with it being mid match.

We will just say alot of stuff happened, Andrade is in control both men on the outside, Andrade slams Ali onto the ring post and locks in a submission on Alis arm and used the ropes with it. Both me n in the ring and..dang it man the moment i start writeing they do more stuff and then i get too fart behind and cant keep up.

For this match i will go commentary mode rather then play by play, cant keep up lol.

Andrade hits the hammerlock DDT for the pin. Also seth vowed to find the fiend tonight, and appearntly there is gonna be a new episode of the firefly fun house. And now we got round 2 of the draft.


WWE Draft Round 2

We get right into it, Raw selects The Womens Tag team Champions The Kabuki Warriors

Smackdown selects Daniel Bryan.

Raw selects Rusev

Smackdown drafts Smackdown Womens Champion Bayley

And finally Raw drafts Aleister Black

Next up, the Raw tag team titles are on the line


Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler VS The Viking Raiders - Raw Tag Team Championships

We start with Eric and he immediately dropkicks dolph and stuffs happenign fast ivar dives out to robert roode and dives onto dolph but robert pulls him a him breaking the pin, had a little tech issues but robert and dolph are somehow in control they are working over eric. eric fights out tries to hit dolph whose on the ropes but he ducks eric soutside the ring and they knock him into some chairs as we go to commercial.

Atleast thats what i think happened, it was so fast i couldnt keep track.

We come back dolph hits a elbow for a nearfall and dolph locks in a rest hold, finally im caught up.

Dolph has it locks in Eric starts to fight out, eric reachs for his partner but cant, dolph drags Eric back to his corner tags in roode who kicks eric, gets him in the corner lays in the chops, kicks him over and over, choes him with hsi foot, Eric lays in a dolid hit and then another but roode dropkicks eric left knee, dolph tags in they target the leg of eric.

Dolph bags in taunts eric says do something slaps him eric gets mad and just smacks the hell outta dolph, both men down crawling to their corners eric gets the hot tag to ivar and he runs wild, plants ziggler with a cross body lays out roode does a kartwheel lays out ziggler crowds herring, now here comes eric again, eric grabs roode goes for a springboard but dolph kicks ivar and roode l;ays out eric for the nearfall dolph and roode hits azig zag spienbuster combo for the nearfall after kicking ivar away outside the ring, eric gets up dolph goes for superkick fails siggler rakes the face hits the fameaser for the nearfall.

both men down again eric looks for his partner who isnt in his corner, roode and dolph double team eric. eric fights out btu dolph hits a superkick into the glroious DDT, and ivar says the day breaking the pin, we got lets go viking chants

dolph tags himself in, both men lift up eric ivar tags in lays out both dolph and roode, does a hand stand springboard laying out both men and they hit ziggler with the viking experience for the pin.

The Viking Raiders are your new Raw Tag Team Champions


WWE Draft Round 3

So we get started quickly. Raw drafts Cedric Alexander

Smackdown drafts Intercontinetal champion Shinsuke Nakamura

Raw drafts Humberto Carrillo..whoever that is

Smackdown drafts Ali

And lastly Raw drafts Eric Rowen

Next up, we got Aleister Black in action.


Aleister Black VS Eric Young

THis is a squash match, so its what youd expect, Aleister Black dominates the match and wins with his new submission called, The Dark Ritual...nice name, i dig it.


WWE Draft Round 4

Raw drafts Buddy Murphy

Smackdown drafts Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler

Raw drafts....jinder...Mahal.... okay then

Smackdown drafts Carmella...And Raw drafts R Truth

We got Street Profits and they confirm they are on Raw and then here comes the OC, AJ says Raw belongs to the OC, and then they beat up the street profits, who dont look too pleased.

Now here comes Ricochet, he sin action next.


Ricochet VS Shelton Benjiman

Ricochet immediately hits a dropkick and swings and flips all around shelton with a hurrican ranna he tries to do it again but shelton stops him slams him down knocks ricochet out of the ring shelton gets him back in.

Shelton lifts ricochet up for a simple drop for a nnearfall. Shelton has ricochet in a nearfall but ricochet fights out lays some hits in. but shelton hits a solid kick for the nearfall.

Shelton locks in a headlock, ricochet fights out but shelton stops him again, ricochet eventually hits a kick to lay out shelton, ricochet in the corner chelton charges ricochet hits shelton into the corner he falls down, ricochet on the apron jumps hits a clothsline and then a standing shooting star.

Ricochet drags shelton to the corner ricochet goes to to the top rope and some back and forth happens, shelton stops him and then shelton does a move from the top rope but ricochet lands on his feet and hits the recoil for the pin.

We get a video package of Tyson fury and a recap of last week. And then we see Lana getting a massage, the girl asks if its enough pressur,e lana says she lieks it harder..then we go to commercial.........alright then.

So we come back and lashley begins massaging her legs, Lana says i like that, you have sucha gentle touch...Rusev wa snever that good....he moves up the leg, Lashley says this is so much fun, maybe not for rusev and lana laughs...Lana says thats enough on that side, how about i flip over and lashley staring at whats beneat and continues to massage her.....well that was interesting.


Tyson Fury Braun Strowman Contract Signing

jerry hypes up the match and then brings out Strowman, he shakes hands with jerry in the ring, and then jerry brings out Tyson Fury

Both men takes their seats, Braun says he knows why tyson wa sat the debut of smackdown was to shypon the spotlight from WWE onto himself and he says tyson gonna get these hands at crown jewel.

Tyson says hes a fan of strowman, and he was at smackdown to see strowman, and he goes on to say ehs gonna knock strowman out.

Both men stare at eachother, braun breaks the table, tyson breaks a pen, and thats that....okay then.

Man, tonight is a very...just.....normal episode of Raw, it aint bad, but it isnt good...right in the middle Curious to see if that changes as the night goes on.


WWE Draft Round 5

We start off with Raw drafting Samoa Joe

Smackdown drafts The Miz

Raw drafts Akira Tozawa

Smackdown drafts King Corbin

And lastly Raw drafts Shelton Benjamin

next up, Buddy Murphy is in action.

Buddy Murphy VS Cedric Alexander

These two lock up some great back and forth and good wrestling and the crowd appreciates it, great stuff. lots of kick outs flips wrestling, we get another exchange Murphjy hits a huge elbow and sedns cedric into the turnbuckle and takes control.

Murphy gets cedric throws him to the apronm cedric goes to springboard but murphy knocks him off, he falls on the ropes and part of the corner and has a nasty fall to the outside as we go to commercial.

Murphy dives out and lays out cedric, and alot of stuff happens, they go back and forth, cedric does dives murpjhy does a dive or two, cedric has contorl right now in the ring he picks up murphy and goes for lumbar check but he cant. Murphy locks in a headlock, and it leads to murphy hitting his kick to cedrics face and then a powerbomb for a nearfall. And then Murphy hits Murphys law for the pin.

So they go voer the matches for Crown jewel, and most notably they announced Seth Rollins VS The Fiend in a Falls Count Anywhere match for the Universal Championship......

....

Why...wait The Fiend is on Smackdown..WHY IS HE GETTING A TITLE MATCH!?...how the hell are they gonna screw this up is all im left to wonder....you cant do this shit twice, Your gonna kill The Fiend if you dont have him win....also what happened to sticking to the draft?...goodness man...goodness...


WWE Draft FInal Round

Raw drafts Rey Mysterio

Smackdown Drafts Shorty Gable

And lastly Raw drafts Liv Morgan


The Kabuki Warriors VS Natalya and Lacey Evens

Yup, you read that right...Natalya picked Lacey Evens as her partner.

So we come in after commercials and Kabuki warriors are in control atleast for a moment, Lacey slams down Zane and more stuff happens, im not gonna lie i dont care about this match lol.

Kabuki warriors have control Asuka laying in the kicks and stuff happens, natalya gets the hot tag, and does stuff. asuka reverses into a leg submission buit natalya gets out of it, they take turns rolling eachother up for nearfalls and then natalya locks in sharpshooter.

Asuka eventually fights out and we go to commercial.

I just realised this is the last match of the show. Interesting, and after this is the bray seth stuff.

So we come back Asuka has natalya in a hold. Natalya fights out of a hold but asuka locks it in again and keeps control of natalya.

eventualy Lacey evens makes the hot tag..i guess shes a babyface now. She does her thing, and it leads to lacey hitting a womens right to kairi zane...but shes not legal and asuka gets the roll up pin


Firefly Fun House

brays in the fun house and says I Saw You! yowie wowie i say you! i think you are strong and brave! and definately smart! but you have to understand! he never forgets! ramblin rabbit looks scared and bray tells him to go play.
Seth coems in and starts beating up Bray, he breaks up the funhouse set.

Bray lkooks like hes gonna cry and says seth why are you doing this to me? please dont! and then seth contineus to beat bray down the crowd boos seth

Im pretty sure this is a double turn, if so im so down with that.

Seth says burn it down he brings out a lighter and lights the funhosue table on fire and knocks it into the wall the images begin burnign and we hear laughter as the set burns, we see flashes of the fiend as we hear brays lauighter over and over and over and over, the set burns down as the show goes off air

And thats the show!

This was a very average show beisdes the ending, i like the direction they went with the fun house, how Bray is fragile and innocent and doesnt wanna fight seth, he looked afraid and pleaded with seth to stop yet seth in heel fashion beat bray down. It was effective and hopefully a double turn. But with Bray on Smackdown i dont know how they will handle this, they ddi tease a big trade in the works, perhaps Bray will get ttraded to raw? notably cain wasnt drafted, could he be drafted to raw and they switch both titles? the WWE title to raw and the universal title to smackdown? time will tell

Well ifd give this show a 7/10, maybe 5 minus the firefly fun house segment, share your own thoughts below! and have a great day!

hmm ok employing the new rating system I talked about the other day

+ The draft itself. I love a good draft
+ Good storytelling with Seth/The Fiend tonight. It looks like the double turn I talked about is happening.
+ Tonight's matches
+ The women's division looking strong
+ Raiders winning the title

- The Strowman/Fury segment
- The Lashley/Lana segment

Overall a good show. Loved the ending. like an 8.5/10, but since I don't do things by half measures, I will give it a 9/10

Only watched one match, and the women's tag match was decent. Lacey being Nattie's partner is a dumb wrestling trope that I never understood. The match itself was decent though when Lacey was wrestling it looked either sloppy or rushed, and just didn't put on for a good match. Asuka and Sane winning by roll-up is cool, though I have a feeling now that Nattie and Lacey will soon when the belts...and I ain't ready for that, chef.

Please drop this Lana/Lashley/Rusev bullshit.. more wrestling, less soap opera.

Becky vs Charlotte was good.. the way Charlotte reacted after each of the last 2 losses makes me think she is about to lose her shit in a way we've never seen before.. I think we will see #11 very soon and this one might be a long reign.. a very long reign.

Andrade vs Ali.. not a bad match.. it did well to highlight RAW's newest draft pick.

Ziggler/Roode vs Viking Raiders.. The Raiders deserve this... they really shined once they were given some real competition.. they'll be champs for a good, long while.

Aleister Black vs Eric Young.. like above they did well highlighting a new RAW draft pick here.

Ricochet vs Shelton Benjamin.. very good match and the better man won.. Ricochet is going places.

Contract signing for blood money match.. who gives a shit.

Buddy Murphy vs Cedric Alexander.. Buddy Murphy is about to do some things on RAW.. this was a very good match displaying both men's athleticism. Great finish.

Kabuki Warriors vs Natalya and Lacey Evans... just an ok match.. Asuka is very sexy.. glad she got the pin.

Firefly Funhouse segment.. it was ok... but their going to have to do some masterful writing to get the audience invested fully in this again and I don't think WWE has the caliber of writers needed to get it done correctly.

Show's overall rating.. 6/10.

I like that they mixed up the firefly funhouse with Seth going and burning it. I am curious to see how they go from here now though, will they fuck it up even more? Prob. Cause somehow they’ve managed to fuck up the fiend when he was off to a great start. I don’t think bray is buried yet, but so far it looks like it’s going down that road.

overall, the show gets a 7 from me. The best thing is bray and that’s all that really keeps me tuning in, and somehow they've already managed to fuck it up

They made a really big deal about this draft, implying that its a fresh start.
So naturally the rosters remain almost completely the same, and a Smackdown guy is challenging for the Universal title right away.

The episode was enjoyable enough on its own, but the Draft was a big disappointment.

They could have done so much with Firefly Funhouse. This could have been WWE's Undead Realm! This could have been in The Fiends mind. So many creative options. To find out its just a set backstage that someone like Seth can just randomly find it with no real problem. He literally found it under 2 and a half hours. This could have been stretched out for weeks with Seth trying to find it, going to the house Orton burnt, y'know actually explore his backstory!? Would that seriously hurt to find out more about a wrestlers past? Especially someone so complicated as Bray Wyatt.

Edit: Just found out that Bray has only faced Bo Dallas once in tag action while on the main roster. So even if they for some reason don't wanna spend money on taking Seth to places, just have Seth interrogate Bo! Reveal that they are brothers and have Bo reveal some shit! He's doing nothing right now! Use him for this!

Yeah but the whole thing with bray is not only mystery and insanity, and before he was the mr Rodgers psycho, he like stayed in an abandon barn out in the woods like a freak. Now, he simply makes videos backstage. It just seems kind of underwhelming. Would’ve been cool to me if Seth like finds some Saw type warehouse or something and sees brays studio with the fiends outfit and such hung up like some worshipping idol or something.

I thought the firefly funhouse segment was actually terrible and has ruined the whole gimmick for me.

Seth went to the firefly funhouse. That's bollocks. The funhouse isn't a real place. It's a fabrication and is in the mind of Bray cuz hes insane. Seth then beat up Bray...with sound effects. So the funhouse segments have been supernatural all this time. The funhouse is a real place and all of its puppet inhabitants and wacky sound effects are all legit in kayfabe. This is ultimate warrior in the mirror looking at Hogan bollocks. Surely when seth showed up the nonsensical rules of the funhouse should of stopped. Whoever wrote this is fucking stupid

Its obvious that whoever is in creative charge is not Bray wyatt and has no idea what makes the character good. Bray must have hated that segment and thought that they have buried him again. He would be right. This is irreversible.

there’s several better ideas they could’ve come up with and instead decided to take the way way out of if you ask me. I don’t get it... if this was undertaker or someone Vince really admired, they push nearly every feud to near perfection. But bray, well, he’s not as big of priority, so let’s test the waters and who cares if we fuck it up.

Ummm nope... watch until the end when they show it burning and Seth flips over the the table and it shows the fiend like on the screen seemingly being burned. When the camera pans up, it shows the blue wall prop and you can see past it, like in other words, it’s just like a studio set.

not making things up to make myself happy, rather they could’ve done a lot mor with this, rather than Seth seemingly going backstage somewhere, finding his cheap ass set, and then setting it on fire. The lack of creativity, especially given all the effort they’ve put forth with the fiend, I thought sucked.

The only thing I liked about it was how bray was confused as to why Seth was doing that. It’s as if he has no control of the fiend and it’s a true alter ego... a split personality that he kind of doesn’t even like himself.
