Give us your rating on Raw and then let us know in the comments what you thought of the show!

Opening

Dean Ambrose came to the ring to talk about Cleveland and his championship win. He was joined by Roman Reigns who congratulated him but argued with the fans. He asked Ambrose for a title match but was interrupted by Seth Rollins who felt that he should get the title match since he defeated Reigns cleanly the previous night. They continued to argue until Shane McMahon came out and decided to have Reigns face Rollins tonight for the right to face Ambrose. Rollins demanded that Stephanie be consulted, but Shane mentioned she wasn't present and that the match would be the main event.

Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens

Sami Zayn defeated Kevin Owens by pinfall after reversing a pop up powerbomb into a roll up. He was then attacked after the match by Owens. Sami fought back and the two of them brawled past the commercial break, with Sami completely beating down Owens until he was forcibly pulled off.

People Power

John Laurinaitis came to the stage to announce that he wanted to be the GM of Smackdown. Shane McMahon came to the stage to tell him that was not going to happen. Shane said he was going to manage Smackdown. John was happy with that and suggested he should host Raw then. Shane then tried to get John off the stage before Enzo and Cass came out.

Enzo and Cass vs the Vaudvillains

Enzo and Cass defeated the Vaudvillains by pinfall after a relatively short match.

AJ Styles Promo

AJ Styles claimed he was unhappy that the Club helped him against John Cena and he demanded the two of them come to the ring and apologize. Bother Gallows and Anderson came to the ring and apologized to AJ and then AJ told them to apologize to Cena as well. He invited Cena out.

John Cena came out to the stage. He said he didn't need an apology since they had a contract and AJ broke it. Gallows apologized and said that AJ didn't know it was going to happen. Anderson also apologized. Cena did buy it and went on one of his rants, telling AJ he didn't have his word or his balls.

AJ Styles offered Cena a match with any Club member other than him and Cena and Anderson was the match they decided on.

John Cena vs Karl Anderson

This was a short match that ended with Gallows and Styles returning to the ring and taking out Cena. Cena won by DQ

Becky Lynch Promo

Renee was interviewing Becky but kept looking at Charlotte, who was hanging out behind her. Becky mentioned how she seems to be the only woman left with any integrity. Charlotte and Dana then beat down Becky.

Baron Corbin vs Zach Ryder

Baron Corbin defeated Zach Ryder by pinfall after hitting the end of days.

Paige vs Charlotte for the Women's Title

Charlotte defeated Paige by pinfall after hitting natural selection. This was after several interference attempts by Dana.

After the match, Sasha Banks made her return. Dana tried to attack Sasha, but Sasha took her out with one punch. Sasha then attacked Charlotte and hit her with the bank statement. Dana attacked Sasha but Paige made the save.

Wyatt Family Promo

Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman came to the ring and Wyatt announced the return of the family to WWE. They were interupted by the New Day. Bray tries to lure Xavier Woods to the ring but he "snaps" out of it.

Rusev vs Titus O'Neil

Titus was granted a second match with Rusev but made it clear that he didn't care about the match. He only wanted to pay Rusev back for disrespecting his family.

Rusev was in the ring and Titus O'Neil came to the ring. The match never started and instead just a brutal beatdown of Rusev by Titus O'Neil.

Chris Jericho and Shane McMahon

Chris Jericho met up with Shane McMahon in his office and claimed that Shane was against him. He claimed that Shane was keeping him from facing Ambrose when Jericho was more deserving of a title shot than Reigns or Rollins. Shane disagreed. Jericho told Shane he hoped that after the Brand Extension that he was on the show that Shane was not going to be in charge of and Shane assured him that he would be running both shows.

Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins: The Winner Faces Deam Ambrose at Battleground

Dean Ambrose was at commentary while Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins battled for 20 minutes. The match ended in a double countout. Shane McMahon came to the the stage to resolve the lack of a winner. Dean told Shane he was willing to face both Reigns and Rollins in separate matches during Battleground. Shane then made the match in the main event at Battleground a triple threat between Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. Ambrose then hit both Reigns and then Rollins with dirty deeds.

I gave it a five only based on how excellent the main event and Titus O'Neil vs Rusev was.

@Aids Johnson If you watch anything, wrong Titus O'Neil vs Rusev and Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins. Everything else, in my opinion is skippable.

They were talking about Rollins vs Reigns being a worthy Wrestlemania main event.. yet they booked the long awaited Shield triple threat for Battleground. That could have been your Wrestlemania 33 main event, that everyone would have been happy with.

Decent show. 6/10

Positives:
- The show opening segment w/ Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns was alright.

- LOL'd at the REIGNS ENJOYS SOCCER sign.

- Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens was good. Enjoyed the match and their post-match/backstage happenings, as well. I can see a stipulation match happening at Battleground, which is going to lead to Zayn and KO being separated in the draft.

- People Power!

- Enzo & Cass vs The Vaudevillains was short and sweet, and gave E&C some momentum following MITB, and it's keeping them in the tag title hunt.

- The Club/Cena and the fake apology stuff was good. Oh, Styles, you smug asshole! That was fun. The only thing I didn't like was Cena getting all his stuff in under 2-3 minutes and Anderson having zero offense. At least the beatdown stuff was good.

- The Miz was great.

- Sasha Banks!

- Rollins vs Reigns was a pretty good ME. The post-match stuff was good, too!
So, The Shield triple-threat is a WM caliber match, so of course it's happening at Battleground, eh? I don't really mind that, I just thought they would wait till SummerSlam, at least. But, I guess they need something big to sell the PPV, since SummerSlam will sell itself. I'm hyped for The Shield match, and with Lesnar coming back after UFC 200, I guess the winner (either Reigns or Rollins, presumably Reigns) will face Lesnar for the title at SummerSlam.

Negatives:
- Everything else.

Give it a 3/10.. It happened 12 hours ago and i can't remember anything that happened on the show.. It must have been pretty bad.

All i remember is skipping the divas segment like i do every week.

The Good:

Man I love the Miz the guy is so underrated.

Johnny Ace gave me a good chuckle.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will feud with each other for another three years tops...there has to be a tag team run after all of this. Its just has to happen.

Titus wasn't annoying in fact, he looked pretty dare I say...strong.

My bae Paige got some TV time and THE BO$$ is back!!!

A Good Backstage Women's segment...my gawd.

The Bad:

WHY THE FUCK COULD THE TRIPLE THREAT NOT WAIT UNTIL SUMMERSLAM. Why did they have to blow their load and have at battleground!? Now it could end with some shenanigans or in some way that sets up another triple threat but I honestly think this is their way of putting the title back on Reigns before SS...pls god no. If this is some attempt at building toward a Lesnar match...why? You can't throw anyone else at him that isn't any of these three?...regardless I am pretty pumped for the match.

The Club segement...I know where they were trying to go...but no.

Literally everything else.

I've gotta say... If you're basing this Raw on average quality, maybe it's lower. Hulu damn sure helped. But this gets the same 8/10 MITB did in large part just due to the big picture of it...

-It was SO GREAT to see the Ambrose celebration. For the first time since early 2014 we have a babyface world champion. HELL YEAH. Sure, we can think what we want of how we got there, but we're just enjoying the ride. Lets just do that while this lasts!
-If it doesn't last long, that may be for the best. I'd love to get behind an Ambrose chase to get the title back.
-Watching the Shield together really is great, but man does it remind me of just how fall these guys have (somewhat) fallen. Seth and Roman are so totally misplaced as characters, and we all gave up on Ambrose a month ago. It's amazing what happens when you actually feel like you have a reason to get behind people. Then they talked for 20 minutes and reminded us of why the last couple of years of WWE have been so brutal despite the best damned faction of all time running the show. As much as I've been on the fence about it since unintentional heel Roman has been working, this really did show just how much that double turn needs to happen yesterday.
-Zayn and Owens, please don't do this forever! Matches are fun, but Sami Zayn is feeling like 2011 Christopher Daniels and it sucks.
-Marked for Johnny Ace. Mr. Excitement is back bayba-awww he's gone. FUCK. Can he run Smackdown? Please?
-It's crazy to think this is the closest we'll get to seeing Daniel Bryan on TV
-Man this AJ/Cena feud... I mean... damn did I want to respect that it wasn't the same horseshit Cena played with Owens last year, but I just... Can't explain but it isn't for me. Maybe I should just fast forward through anything involving these two, and y'all know I hate saying that about Styles, but this feud just... So much no. It's not even bad work, if y'all enjoy it... idk
-LOL DANA. I mean... maybe... it was probably a good idea to not call her up before she's ready to work in the main feud? Maybe? This sucked, but damn has Charlotte improved from the first Paige feud. VERY impressed! Are we doing Charlotte/Dana vs Sasha/Paige? Please don't.
-speaking of such OMG SASHAAAAAAAAAAAA WOOOO YEAH NOW WE'RE TALKING WOOOOOHOOOO DREAMS DO COME TRUE! The Brock Lesnar of the Women's Division is back. Arrive, kick ass, leave for 4 months
-Man I'm so hot and cold with this New Day vs Wyatts feud. On one hand, that sounds awesome! Sign me the hell up for that match! (Imagine the promo poss... no, don't, it'll just disappoint you) Also on that hand, this segment was really fun... but it was also kinda the same retread stale as 2 year old bread crap from Bray. After he seemed so rejuvenated when he left. So many damn miscast people on this show is leaving it very... idk... Then again against New Day you have to do something clever to not get SUPER DUPER OVERSHADOWED. Nobody gets over facing the New Day, and nobody is less clever than the Wyatt Fam
-Hope Big E vs Braun Strowman is part of the build, because watching him take the spear through the ropes sounds funny.
-Actually scratch that, wouldn't it be cool to have Smackdown trios titles? No? Okay
-ROLLINS VS REIGNS WAS AWESOME!
-Hearing "WHY IS THIS HAPPENING AT BATTLEGROUND" is the aural version of watching Eric Young. Don't make me projectile vomit you stupid idiot

But big picture here: Per the request of The Fantastic Mr. Fox, I turned on the Titus O'Neil segment on YT and loved it. This was the stuff I wanted to see from Roman against Seth, so I'm SO HAPPY to see it from someone on this show. Oftentimes Raw is the opposite of a good book, and the writing and formulas went away for some damn emotion and SHIT GOT REAL!!!

Between that, Ambrose, Sasha, the Shield triple threat announced, that's 4 pretty big mark out moments on this show + a pretty kick ass main event, so this show definitely deserves more love.
Especially on the Raw scale of nothing ever happening on this show
