Opening

The show opened with a moment of reflection for those who died in the Orlando mass shooting at Pulse.

The New Day came to the ring and Big E and Woods made fun of Kofi's shoes until they were interupted by Enzo and Cass. Although Enzo and Cass made clear their intentions to win the tag belts, they referenced that they would be teamed with the New Day later tonight. Cass then made fun of Kofi's shoes and then implied that Francesca the II was cheating on Woods with Enzo. After some more jokes, they announced a Verbal joust of wits between Woods and Enzo. They were interupted by the Vaudvillains and later the Club. The New Day and Enzo and Cass called them all SAWFT and then went to commercial.

The New Day and Enzo and Cass vs the Club and the Vaudvillains.

The vaudvillain and the Club defeated the New Day and Enzo and Cass by pinall when Gallows pinned Kofi following a Magic Killer.

Make Darren Young Great Again

Young and Bob Backlund went back and forth about money and how to save money. When Young asked Backlund how he saved so much money, Backlund admitted he only had one outfit.

Steph and Shane Promo

Steph and Shane argued back and forth about who should be in charge of Raw and Smackdown. Kane then showed up and made a case for himself. Kane gave Steph his resume and a letter of recommendation from the Undertaker. Shane then agreed to listen to Kane's ideas about Smackdown.

Sheamus and Zach Ryder promo

Sheamus approached Ryder and talked about their match. Ryder then said "Hi" to Apollo Crews, implying he was behind Sheamus. Sheamus turned and no one was there. When Sheamus turned back around, Ryder was gone.

Titus O'Neil

Titus was attacked by Rusev on the way to a match and was beaten down so the match was canceled.

The Ambrose Asylum with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns

Ambrose introduced both Rollins and Reigns and they all stood in the ring while Ambrose seemed amused. The three went back and forth until Ambrose suggested that he might win the MITB ladder match and cash in the same night. A brawl broke out when Rollins hit Ambrose into Reigns and knocked Reigns out of the ring. Rollins attacked Ambrose who retaliated and took down Rollins Reigns came back in and pulled Ambrose off of Rollins. Reigns then turned his back to Ambrose and then took down Reigns with dirty deeds when Reigns came back in.

After the commercial Stephanie put Ambrose in a match against Chris Jericho in a match because of what happened in the ring.

Charlotte vs Paige

Paige defeated Charlotte by Pinall after hitting the Rampaige. Dana Brooke and Becky Lynch were giving commentary at ringside. After the match, Charlotte demanded Dana get the title belt and ripped it from her hands when she did.

Cesaro Promo

Renee was asking Cesaro about how his match with Same Zayn would affect his MITB chances. Zayn came in and interupted the interview and they had a back and forth. In basis Zayn was complaining about being treated like a rookie while Cesaro told him he still had a lot to prove.

After the commercial, Charlotte began to criticize Dana Brooke, blaming her for the loss. Eventually Brooke agreed with her and they agreed they had a lot of work to do before their MITB match.

Sheamus vs Zach Ryder

Sheamus defeated Zach Ryder in less than two minutes by pinfall followed a Brogue kick. He then began attacking Ryder after the match until Crews came into the ring and beat Sheamus down.

Kane, Shane and Owens

Kane was talking to Shane McMahon and was interupted by KO. KO was asking for Stephanie but Shane convinced him to talk to him about it. KO insisted that Shane should punish Del Rio by removing him from MITB for showing up late. Del Rio then showed up and said he knew that KO called airport security on him and held him up for five hours. Then KO and Owens began arguing in Spanish until Kane interupted them. Kane put them in a tag team match against

Sami Zayn vs Cesaro

Sami Zayn pinned Cesaro after hitting a Blue Thunder Bomb,

AJ Styles and John Cena Contract Signing

Cena praised AJ Styles before telling the crowd that Shane McMahon made this contract signing a bit different than usual. He then told Michael Cole to leave the ring before inviting AJ to the ring. After AJ made fun of Cena, Cena presented AJ with two contracts. one contract was John Cena vs AJ, while the other was AJ and the Club vs Cena. The idea was that the Club at ringside would be an easy win, but would secure AJ's spot in the Bitch Club. He praised the match that AJ would have if he kept the Club from ringside.

AJ went on a rant about what would have happened if he had come to WWE 15 years ago. He claimed that Cena would not have had all of his accolades and AJ would have had them all. Cena told him to shut up and told Styles that the what ifs don't matter because he's too stupid to see he has a chance to put all the what ifs behind him by signing the one on one contract. He then told AJ if he signs the Club contract, they will put him on a Bullet Train back to Japan because everyone knows he left his balls over there. AJ then signed the one on one contract. After Cena signed, AJ told Cena that Cena's time was up and Styles' time is now.

Albert Del Rio and Kevin Owens vs the Lucha Dragons

This match had the stipulatin that Alberto and Owens would be defending their MITB spots against the dragons. KO threatened to leave early in the match but came back to prevent losing their spot. KO and Del Rio defeated the Lucha Dragons to retain their spots in the MITB ladder match.

After the match backstage, KO demanded to be on commentary for the main event and Stephanie agreed. Del Rio then demanded to be on commentary too, but Steph told him that they had enough commentators and that Del Rio could be the time keeper.

Dean Ambrose vs Chris Jericho with Cesaro as guest ring announcer, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn as guest commentator and Alberto Del Rio as guest time keeper.

There was a huge focus on the commentary in the match and interaction between KO and Ambrose, as well as KO and the other ringside PPts.

Dean Ambrose defeated Chris Jericho by pinfall after dirty deeds and then all of the MITB ppts broke out into a brawl. After many moves, the show went off the air with Jericho ascending the ladder and grabbing the briefcase.

@Aids Johnson @Snowman Per your requests, I can't really recommend this Raw. I am giving it a 5 because the opening match was good, the contract signing was interesting and finally the outside antics during the main event were interesting. Other than that, it was a bit slower than I would have liked and you can probably get everything you'd enjoy from reading results and watching highlights.

The contract signing was the best part, apart from the Main Event that had great commentary, good match, clusterfuck ending, and outside shenanigans.

Full thoughts. I gave this Raw a 5/10. I gave it a 5 because it seemed it had an equal amount of good and bad. But I really wasn't bored, But I think that is because we had a REALLY good chat tonight. Quite a few people were extremely active throughout the chat, even though we had a lull in the middle.

I think that's great because when we have really good chats during a mediocre show, it actually makes the show that much more enjoyable. And although I am on the fence in concerns with recommending this show, I do hope everyone will still show up for the MITB live discussion because I'm sure it will be a great time.

Now, I liked:

WWE not only acknowledging the Orlando shooting but displaying the rainbow/American flag ribbon. That was awesome and such a HUGE step towards WWE showing a positive attitude towards gays than they have in the past.

The opening with the New Day and Enzo and Cass. It got a little boring when the Vaudvillains came out and the Club but that is fine.

The New Day, Enzo and Cass vs The Club and the Vaudvillains. *** This was easily the match of the night. It had the most energy and the best moves, including a over the turnbuckle post flip by Kofi.

Stephanie and Shane promo with Kane giving them a resume and letter of recommendation from Undertaker... that was funny

Sheamus and Zach Ryder promo... was boring until Ryder said, "Hi Apollo Crews." It was hilarious when Ryder was gone

Ambrose hitting dirty deeds on Roman

KO's promo with the McMahons was funny. I love hearing this man talk.

Sami Zayn vs cesaro **1/2 This was a good match, but nothing that really stood out.

AJ Styles and John Cena Contract Signing. This was a good back and forth and it ended the right way, with no fighting.

Commentary and antics on the main event match but not the match.

I didn't like:

Make Darren Young Great Again, although Backlund made a one good joke

RuRu beating down Titus o Neil

The majority of the Ambrose Asylum until the end

Charlotte vs Paige No star. One of the worst women's matches I have ever seen. Charlotte nearly fell down when she tried putting on the figure 8 and she screwed up a Flair flop. this match sucked big time. You all know how much I love women's wrestling so it hurts me to see them reduced to something like this, after both being given jobber entrances as well.

Sheamus vs Zach Ryder *1/2 The only good thing about this match was how quickly it was over.

Albert Del Rio and Kevin Owens vs the Lucha Dragons ** Pointless and couldn't get into it.

The actual main event match.

It was a decent go-home show. 6/10

Positives:
- The show opening segment featuring The New Day, Enzo & Cass, The Vaudevillains and The Club. Can't wait till one day we get a verbal joust 'tween Enzo & Cass/The New Day.

- The Club & The Vaudevillains vs The New Day & Certified Gs was good. Marked for Kofi's over the corner/post dive.

- Zack Ryder's "Hi, Apollo" bit cracked me up.

- The Ambrose Asylum segment with Reigns and Rollins was good. And the slow burn for a future Shield triple-threat continues.

- Sami Zayn vs Cesaro was good. Wish it was a bit longer, though, but I still popped hard for that finish.

- Cena/Styles segment was great. Both guys showed some great fire and I'm looking forward to their match at MITB.

- "Is this about the car battery to the testicles thing, because I thought we were past that?". I LOL'd.

- ADR launching Kalisto into the barricade like a lawn dart looked brutal.

- KO was great on commentary in the ME, Cesaro was great as a ring announcer. The way he announced Y2J (now residing in STUPID IDIOTVILLE) was hilarious. The post-match stuff was fine, the MITB ladder match on Sunday should be good.

Negatives:
- Everything else.

Giving it a 5/10 myself. Not good, but not that bad either so going somewhere in the middle with it sounds just about fair...

I won't go into any details or breakddown of the show but will say that for the second week in a row, the Cena/Styles segment was gold. Whether you like him or hate him, Cena is still THE guy...

Other than that, KO once again rocked and on a final note, quite interesting that commentary kept on talking about the possibility of the Shield Triple Threat and it does seem that WWE may very give Ambrose the briefcase after all but we'll just have to wait and see...

P.S. With the Euro 2016 now in progress, I really don't have much time but I'll try to post some thoughts during the weekend regarding the upcoming PPV...

Havent got the chance to watch past the first hour but just read through the summary to catch myself up. That segment with all the teams at the beginning was 10/10 stuff, loved it. Just havent had time to finish watching but the AJ/Cena contract signing sounded dope and the KO/Del Rio banter makes me sad I didn't watch. Regardless, hyped as hell for MITB sunday.

Edit: Kane was funny as fuck too. He's the man.
