SEGMENTS MATCHES SPECIAL NOTES

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

In Ring Segment: Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho

Owens re-introduces himself as the WWE Universal champion. Owens also announces Jericho as the United States champion as well. Owens says he proved everyone wrong last night. No one thought he would win, but he did. The list of people who thought he would lose is longer than the List of Jericho. The most important person Owens proved wrong is Raw General Manager Mick Foley. Owens adds that he is man enough to stand in the ring and thank the man who helped him. Owens thanked Jericho. Jericho’s moral support gave Owens what he needed to make it through. Owens notes that they have talked about him too much his accomplishments. It’s time to talk about the history that Jericho made last night. Jericho is the greatest Royal Rumble competitor of all time. Jericho says he was in for four hours, fifty-six minutes and twelve seconds is the accumulative time Jericho has spent in the Royal Rumble match. Jericho was in the Rumble last night for sixty-one minutes last night. Jericho is the sixty-one-minute man. Jericho says the only reason he didn’t win the rumble is because he is suffering from a terrible case of vertigo from being in the shark cage last night.

Braun Strowman’s music hits and he walks to the ring. Owens says he is glad Strowman is here because Owens was about to thank him. Strowman says he didn’t come out here for Owens’ thanks. Strowman did what he did last night for two reasons: he hates Roman Reigns and two, he wants the title shot Owens’ promised him. Owens acts as if he has no idea what Strowman is talking about. Strowman says Owens’ offered him a shot and he has proof. Strowman shows a video on the ‘tron of Owens saying that Strowman is next in line. Owens says he doesn’t remember saying that. Strowman says Owens is going to give him the shot tonight or Strowman is going to break him in half. Mick Foley comes out on the ramp and says he doesn’t appreciate what Strowman did last night, but after seeing the video at least he understands it now. Foley reiterates that Owens promised Strowman a title opportunity. Owens says Foley can’t expect someone to go through what he went through last and perform tonight. Foley tells Owens that he will face Strowman tonight for the Universal championship.

Zayn calls for the Helluva kick, but Jericho rolls out of the ring. Zayn follows and sets up the rope dive DDT. Jericho sees it coming and runs away. Zayn chases Jericho around the ring. Jericho rolls into the ring and catches Zayn in the Walls of Jericho. Zayn rolls out of the hold. Zayn rope walk DDTs Jericho. Jericho stumbles into the corner. Backstage Cesaro and Sheamus argue about the Royal Rumble. Bayley interrupts and tells them that they need to get on the same page. They have a six-person tag match later tonight so they have to make this work. Bayley says they should have a group hug. Sheamus isn’t into it, but Cesaro is! Charlotte and the Club walk in and make fun of Bayley, Sheamus, and Cesaro for being losers and nerds.

After the match, Austin Aries asks Neese what does he have to say to his critics that say he has no charisma? Neese doesn’t answer. Aries then asks what Neese has to say to the people who think Neese has great washboard abs, but talking to a washboard is more interesting than talking to him? Neese says he doesn’t have to answer questions from his critics and walks away.

In Ring Segment: Seth Rollins

Rollins says he may have been banned from the building last night, but he is here tonight live. He knows Stephanie wanted to call him out but even billion dollar princesses don’t always get what they want. Stephanie McMahon walks to the ring. Stephanie says she is out here to disappoint him on multiple levels. Rollins retorts, “oh just like you do to your husband every night?” Stephanie says Rollins isn’t going to rattle her cage with his comments. Triple H isn’t here tonight. Rollins says if that is the case, he doesn’t care about Stephanie; he only cares about her coward of a husband. Stephanie says that Triple H is afraid of what he will do to Rollins if he gets his hands on him and that she asks Triple H to stay away. Rollins says Stephanie is crazy if she thinks anyone believes that. Stephanie says Rollins is a traitor and he hasn’t seen a stitch of success since he was kicked out of the Authority. Stephanie adds Rollins needs to apologize to both her and Triple H.

Rollins says he is sorry… sorry that over the last two months he has exposed Triple H for the coward that he is. Rollins is sorry that Triple H’s legacy is going to go up in smoke. Rollins when to Triple H’s house (NXT) and called him out. What did Triple H do? Triple H called security to handle him. Triple H knows that Rollins is the greatest threat to his legacy and judging from the way Stephanie has always looked at him, Rollins knows Stephanie knows it too. Stephanie says she looks at Rollins with nothing but disdain. Triple H is a king, a creator… Rollins is what? An architect? If Rollins isn’t careful, he will be the architect of his own demise. Rollins says Stephanie doesn’t get it, he has nothing to lose. What is going to happen when he shows up at the main office and interrupts a board of directors meeting? Or how about if he goes to Stephaine and Triple H’s house and one of their daughters answer the door? This doesn’t end until Rollins gets his hands on Triple H and he slays the king. Stephanie says she lied, Triple H is on his way to the arena and he is coming for Rollins.

Foley asks her to allow him to keep his promise that there will be the title match tonight.

Swann says he has to respect Neville for what he did last night. Swann offers Neville a handshake. Neville tells Swann he has to bend a knee. Swann turns around to leave. Neville attacks him. Swann runs Neville off.

Backstage, Sasha Banks is getting her knee taped up. Bayley walks in and tells Banks she should wait until she is healed up to fight Nia Jax again. Banks says unlike some people, she is not ok with coming up short.

Backstage, Jericho tells Owens that no matter what happens tonight they will still be the United States champion. Owens says they have to do this together. Jericho says he has had a long 24 hours, it’s a singles match, and Owens wasn’t out there when Zayn cheated to being him earlier. Owens asks Jericho if he is going to be there for him and if he wants to main event WrestleMania together. Jericho says yes. Owens says then he needs Jericho’s help tonight. Jericho says he has Owens’ back.

After the match, Reigns Superman punched Strowman three times before Spearing Strowman off the ring steps. Reigns then Spears Owens for good measure.

Backstage Brock Lesnar arrives.

In Ring Segment: Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman

Heyman says there comes a time in everyone’s career when they have to admit that there is the one person who has their number. Heyman runs down a list of people that have had their legacy stepped on by Brock Lesnar. Now when you mention Lesnar’s legacy they can now say, “yeah but Goldberg…”. “Yeah but” must be killed. They can’t go on any further until that is no longer a thing. Heyman officially challenges Goldberg to a match against Lesnar at WrestleMania.

Sasha Banks vs Nia Jax

Banks dropkicks Jax’s knee over and over again. Jax picks up Banks for a Samoan drop. Banks reverses it, but Jax pushes her into the corner. Jax tries to shoulder block Banks in the corner, but Banks moves out of the way. Jax hits shoulder first into the ring post. Jax falls to the outside, which allows Banks to attempt a baseball slide. Jax catches Banks and locks in a full nelson. Jax ragdolls Banks knee first into the ring post twice. Jax tosses Banks into the ring. The Referee tries to stop the match but Banks tells him not to. Jax drops her full weight on both Banks’ knees. Jax locks in a modified stretch muffler with a cross face. The bell rings even thought the Referee didn’t call for it. The Referee stops the match. Jax locks in the hold again. Bayley hits the ring. Jax releases the hold. Bayley checks on Banks.

Winner- Nia Jax (Referee stoppage)

Tornado Tag Team Match: Handsom Rusev w/Lana and Jinder Mahal vs Enzo and Big Cass

Rusev and Cass pound on each other in the corner. Enzo stomps Mahal in the other corner. The battle spills to the outside. Mahal and Rusev double team Cass. Enzo jumps on Mahal’s back to try to save Cass. After a short break, Mahal and Rusev are working over Cass. Enzo tries a suicide dive, but Mahal and Rusev catch him and slam him on the barricade. Rusev and Mahal slam Cass back first into the barricade over and over again. Rusev tosses Enzo back into the ring. Cass gets back in the ring and takes out Rusev and Mahal. Enzo sends Mahal head-first into the ring steps. Cass hits a big boot on Rusev. Enzo and Cass hit the BoomShakalaka for the win.

Winners- Enzo and Big Cass

Backstage, Triple H arrives.

In Ring Segment: Triple H

Triple H runs down Rollins accomplishments. Triple H notes that all of that happened because Rollins was by his side. For Rollins to get everything he wanted he just needed to hold up his side of the bargain. Rollins collapsed under the pressure. As Rollins stood in the ring with tears in his eyes and handed Triple H the title he was also handing back everything Triple H gave him. When Rollins returned he failed to regain the title. Did Rollins take responsibility for his failure? No, he blamed Triple H. The WWE Universe has no idea how hard it is for him to not be that guy anymore that doesn’t care and ends careers. Triple H gets up every day and puts on this suit and stupid tie and he tries to do the right thing. Triple says he is done doing the right thing. Triple H takes off his suit jacket and tie. Rollins comes down the ramp.
Samoa Joe appears out of nowhere and attacks Rollins. Triple H puts his coat and tie back on. Joe slams Rollins into the barricade over and over again. Joe tosses Rollins into the ring. Joe hits four running sentons. Rollins tries to fire up, but Joe locks in the Coquina Clutch. Rollins passes out.

~ Okay RAW...let me have a look...

*Checks for Emmalina*

Once again Fuck you WWE...and I'm done...

*Pauses*

Oh...well...I guess I better have a look at the Women's division stuff...

~ Bayley is actually a bad role model for kids as she encourages them
to give strangers hugs.

~ Okay...A 15 year old girl, Cesaro & an Idiot vs. My Bae, My Amazon, May Goddess Charlotte
& 2 Guys I don't give a shit about:

Congratulations on getting a pin-fall on Charlotte Bayley...Shame you couldn't get it done
last night...you know...in the match where it actually mattered.

Fuck...I am so sick of Bayley...I wish they left her in NXT...or at least put her on SmackDown.

~ Okay...so I just realized something...The WWE is burying Sasha Banks right now. It happens
to anyone who gets over on their own doesn't it? Ryback, Damien Sandow and now Sasha Banks.

This is complete and utter horse shit!

Its like you can't be a star in the WWE unless the WWE let's you.

How does Sasha fall so far, so fast...its been a downward slope ever since she lost at Hell
in a Cell...which is a match she should have won!!!

Let's have Sasha face Nia Jax again so all those who missed the bullshit squash match on PPV
can see it for free. Seriously WWE...FUCK YOU!!!

Alicia Fox lasted longer against Nia Jax than Sasha did. I swear next they'll have Dana Brooke
and Alicia Fox beating Sasha cleanly.

Move Sasha to SmackDown...trade her for Becky Lynch...Oh wait...don't do that...then Becky will
get buried and made to look pathetic.

God...I am sick of this. I love Charlotte...but she is becoming like Roman Reigns. Every other
member of the RAW Women's division is getting fucked over so she can look good...and I don't
want Bayley as the top face fighting her. Bayley has done nothing on the main roster and frankly
does not deserve the women's title now or at Wrestlemania.

God...seriously...why is watching the WWE so frustrating? Back 15+ years ago watching wrestling
was fun...now its becoming more painful by the week.

Old part timers being at the top of the card with young and exciting talent being ignored or misused.

I just posted a thread about Tye Dillinger and now I'm thinking...may-be its better if he just leaves NXT
and works the independent scene. That way he won't get buried and shit on in the WWE because you
can't be a star in the WWE unless they allow it.

I don't want part timers getting the top of the card spots at the biggest shows.

Watch what happens...Goldberg will beat Owens at Fastlane for the title...then it will be Goldberg
vs. Lesnar for the Universal title at Wrestlemania with Lesnar winning and then Roman Fucking Reigns
will beat Lesnar and Vince gets what he wants.

Fuck what the WWE wants...what about what your fans want? The people who allow you to actually be the
dominant company in wrestling...the people who buy the merch and pack the arenas...the people who pay
for your network...I can't...and you now what...I don't think I could.

I just don't get it...why is liking the WWE so much hard work now?

~ Oh...and Samoa Joe showed up...I guess he's on RAW now...Great.

I'm Fucking Done...

I didn't watch, so it's pretty cool that the review is so good. I'm pretty hyped Joe, and the eventually Sami v Jericho title match. I can't believe I'm saying this... Like at all... But just a small part of me actually wanted Braun to win. I mean, don't get me wrong, a huge part wanted KO to stay champ, but admittedly Braun has gone from worst wrestler 2014 to in my mind one of the best things in WWE. A dominant monster heel is so refreshing to me, especially since most monsters *cough*Rusev*cough* are basically footnotes. I know Lesnar is technically a dominant monster, but he's never there, like ever, Braun is there weekly

Anyways, I'm not voting because I didn't watch, but it actually looks pretty good so maybe I'll check it out on the WWE Network

Okay...so...I've calmed down a bit...

I'm just a little upset about how Sasha Banks is being booked...
and
I'm just so over Bayley at the moment...

But if this booking will lead to a Sasha Banks heel turn then I
can handle it.

On the positive side...
~ Nice work on the continuity explaining the Strowman Rumble attack...
~ I'm glad KO retained but a small part of me wanted Strowman to win...
~ I'm guessing Strowman/Reigns at Fastlane...Taker costs Roman the match...Taker/Reigns at Wrestlemania...
~ It is great to see Samoa Joe on the main roster...although some would say its 10 years too late...
~ Goldberg/Lesnar at Wrestlemania is no shock...but...surely Lesnar will win that match...
~ Zayn vs. Jericho is a step in the right direction...Push Zayn please...
~ Also...this footage...

Again...I'm sorry for my outburst...I just...well...
sometimes its hard to be positive all the time.

Smackdown would have benefited more from Joe since the main event scene on there is still rather thin.

Plus we would have gotten Cena vs Joe. 15 years in the making.

The positive with Joe being on RAW is that Nakamura and Asuka may eventually end up on SmackDown right?

Wait...if RAW got Joe may-be SmackDown will get Tye? Yay!

Where yo' grandma stay.
Don't they already have a Samoan named Joe on RAW? Why not send the one we like to SD live? Would've been so much better off on Smackdown but Rollins Vs. Joe sounds good to me.

Vince is going to take every heavy hitter from NXT and put them on RAW
