Opening
Roman Reigns predicted he would win the Universal title from Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble. He was approached by Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho. Jericho suggested he would come to the ring and teach Reigns a lesson. Roman took this to mean that he was getting a rematch for the US title tonight. Kevin Owens, much to the chagrin of Jericho, agreed to the rematch tonight.
Luke Gallows vs Cesaro
Gallows defeated Cesaro by pin fall.
Backstage
Mick Foley was on the phone with Stephanie who seemed surprised that Mick gave Roman his rematch. They were approached by Sami Zayn who wondered how he could announce his entry in the Royal Rumble. Foley at first seemed to just simply be ready to announce Zayn as a entry. Stephanie, however, overruled him and told Zayn he had to beat Seth Rollins tonight in order to be entered. Then, she ordered Mick to take her off speaker phone. Mick indicated that he would do what Stephanie told him over the phone, but indicated he didn't like it. He then told her he would inform Rollins right away.
Later, Foley confirmed to Rollins that Zayn was fighting him for his spot in the Rumble. So the winner of the Zayn match tonight would be in the Rumble and the loser would be out of it.
Seth Rollins vs Sami Zayn
The winner of this match gets a spot in the Royal Rumble where the loser is removed from the match. During the match, after Rollins hit Zayn with a pedigree, HHH's music played over the Titan Tron. Rollins kept an eye out for HHH, taking his focus off of Zayn. When HHH never emerged, Rollins went back to Zayn. Zayn took advantage of the distraction and beat Rollins with a roll up.
Sami Zayn defeated Rollins by pin fall, earning Rollins' spot in the Royal Rumble.
Jack Gallagher, TJ Perkins and Mustafa Ali vs Gulak, Daivari and Tony Niese
Gallagher, Perkins and Ali won by pin fall.
Tag Team Promo
The New Day came out to talk about their entry in the Royal Rumble but were interrupted by Enzo and Cass and Cass announced his entry into the rumble. They were then interrupted by Rusev and Jinder Mahal. They were then interrupted by Titus O'Neil. Braun Strowman than came out and joined Titus O'Neil.

Braun Strowman, Rusev, Jinder Mahal and Titus O'Neil won by pin fall when Strowman pinned Enzo.
After the match, Big Show came out and stared down Braun Strowman. Strowman eventually left without anything happening, however.
WWE US Championship Match: Champion Chris Jericho vs Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns won by disqualification when Kevin Owens interfered. Afterwards, KO and Jericho tried to put Reigns in the cage but KO was put in it instead. While hanging from the cage, Jericho was hit by a Superman punch, knocking him off. Afterwards, it was announced that the Universal title match at the Royal Rumble was no a no DQ match.
Nia Jax vs Ray Lyn
Nia quickly squashed Lyn and then dedicated her victory to the "recently deceased career of Sasha Banks." Nia then went on to insult Banks until Banks came out on a crutch. Banks then attacked Jax with her crutch. When Nia rushed at Sasha, Sasha pulled down the rope and Nia fell to the floor. Banks then hit Nia with a double knee and then moved away as Nia got back up.
Rich Swann vs Noam Dar
Swann quickly won by pin fall and then called out Neville. Originally, Neville came out, but then left the ring. Dar, however, attacked him but Neville got away.
Goldberg
Goldberg was about to tell all 29 other Rumble opponents that they were next and then Paul Heyman came out and proposed many hypothetical match ups between Goldberg and anyone in the match. Brock Lesnar was then introduced and came onto the stage. Goldberg challenged Lesnar to be a man and come to the ring. Lesnar approached the ring. When Lesnar was in the ring, the gong sounded and the lights went out. The Undertaker appeared and then the show went off the air.
