Opening

Stephanie McMahon was with Mick Foley giving him a performance review. They were talking about the Undertaker and not knowing when he would show up. They were interrupted by Seth Rollins. Rollins was then interrupted by Braun Strowman who demanded a match with either Roman Reigns or Goldberg. Rollins then proceeded to beat up on Strowman.

Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens came to the ring for the KO/Jericho vs Reigns handicap match for the US Championship. Before the match began, Strowman showed up and joined KO/Jericho in beating down Roman. They were interrupted by Rollins, who saved Roman. Rollins and Reigns than began beating down KO/Jericho/Braun.

Stephanie McMahon came down and said the US title match would happen tonight. But she then made an immediate match between Rollins and Strowman.

Braun Strowman vs Seth Rollins

This match ended in a double count out.

Jack Gallagher vs Gulak

Gallagher won by pinfall

Shawn Michaels Promo

HBK was interrupted by Rusev who demanded that HBK put Lana in a movie. They then bickered for a while. Enzo and Cass then came out. Cass challenged Rusev to a match and Rusev accepted and put Jinder Mahal into the match with Cass. HBK remained at ringside.

Undertaker

Mick Foley was in the ring talking about his feud with the Undertaker. He was talking about the Undertaker when the lights went out. However, instead of a gong, Stephanie's music began playing. Stephanie than apologized for what she called Mick Foley's inability to produce the Undertaker. She said that Mick left her no choice but to give Mick Foley his performance review publicly. She blamed Raw's failures on Foley. She asked Foley what he had to say for himself. Foley was about to apologize when the gong went off. Undertaker came to the ring.

Undertaker announced his entry into the Royal Rumble. He said that he answers to no one and goes where he wants and when he wants. No one controls the Undertaker. He announced he would win and move on to WrestleMania and no one could stop him.

Bayley and Sasha Banks vs Charlotte and Nia Jax

Nia Jax pinned Bayley to give herself and Charlotte the win.

Titus O'Neil Tries To Join the New Day

Titus apologized for his actions last week and asked for a chance to join the New Day. The New Day played a video of Titus tripping over a keg. They then showed a keg at ringside and told him he should worry more about redemption than joined the New Day. They gave him a chance to carry the keg again and id he couldn't get it then he lost a chance to be in the New Day. Titus ran around the ring but dropped the keg right before the finish line. The New Day then showed the replay. Kofi was mocking Titus and Titus pushed him. So they made the match of Titus vs Kofi.

Another lousy Raw. I gave it a 2. This show was NOT saved by Jericho becoming the new United States champion because it pretty much guarantees Roman Reigns will win the Universal Title at the Rumble.

Blech.

0 out of 10 might be a bit harsh but even tho jericho won the title nothing else was interesting to me and the negatives far out weigh Jericho winning the one title he hasn't held.

I gave it a 5 just because Jericho winning the US title and Undertaker announcing he is in the Rumble.

But if that stuff never happened this show would be a big fat 0.

Raw needs to cut the cruiserweight division. Every other segment being a cruiserweight match is really fucking up the show. It feels like an episode of Sunday Night Heat when they are on. It's a bunch of nobody's who no one cares about. They have Neville, but he's not a big enough star they people are invested in to carry the whole division.

What the RAW writers should do is have the Cruiserweights start attacking and interfering
in "main division" matches...stage like a CW Invasion style Angle led by Neville and THE
Brian Kendricks.

You know...they could try and make RAW interesting...may-be?

I'm glad Jericho has the US Title now...although...It would be great if he turned it into the
Canadian Title with a nice big maple leaf on it.

I'm surprised Vince would allow Roman to lose...but I'm guessing this means this will lead to
Roman beating KO for the Universal Title at the Rumble and then possibly KO vs. Jericho at
Wrestlemania for the US Title.

May-be?

I could go on about how Rusev was jobbed out to a retired has-been...or how the Undertaker
could have made his announcement on SmackDown...or how RAW is a giant pile of repetitive
elephant dung...but I won't...

It would be nice to see the Cruiserweights and the regular roster mix and mingle some more. It would help a few guys get over if they beat some of the bigger guys in a match. Helps them make a name for themseleves

Personally...I think the WWE dropped the ball with the Cruiserweights
straight from the start. An Invasion Storyline Introduction would have
given all the Cruiserweights great exposure and a few high profile wins
would have pushed the entire division and given WWE an organic
reason to give them their own show.

Just my idea/opinion...

The answer to the woes of the CW division is bringing in some cruiserweights that people actually care about. Other than Neville, I think that the division suffers from a lack of caring about the wrestlers by the fans.

The second answer is to let them have cruiserweight matches. Let them have 10 minutes cruiserweight spot fests like WCW did in the Monday Night War. So far, the cruiserweights have been wrestling matches that are typically Raw matches. That's not why people watch cruiserweights.

It's too many guys. Too many no names. WWE has had a huge problem of going quantity over quality. I would love for someone to added up every single filmed piece of content WWE makes in a year. Raw, Smackdown, NXT, 205, Network specials, Total Divas/Bellas, PPV's, Pre Shows, etc. I bet the amount of hours is just insane idk who the fuck keeps up with it all.

Fantastic Tweet by Rusev...What a Legend...

And he has a point...

...Crazy as this wrestling forum addict, but man I haven't been watching Raw in a long time... Which is clearly very good since this sounds like it sucks more than a reality TV star on a booze filled weekend
