WWE.com already posted an article speculating about Roode & Ibushi, they're getting signedddd.:roode:
Ibushi is probably going only for the cruiserweight show. Because he's downright Blue if he thinks he's getting a lighter schedule in WWE than in New Japan

Think the series is going to be a vessel for quite a few guys to cross over once it's all said and done. Sabre Jr for instance will probably be on NXT as soon as it ends, same with Ibushi. Think Ibushi will sacrifice his dream about a lighter schedule if WWE offers a good enough contract. Doubtful if Dar will be one of the guys to cross over, but it'd be nice.

Agree to disagree. If you dislike Bobby Roode. Keep that to discussions on Roode.
Not even then, keep all Roode hate to yourself.

Still so glad they had him at the show, and showed him so close to the end. Nothing but good things in store.

TakeOver: Dallas was amazing! Loved it! 9/10

- American Alpha vs The Revival was a great show opener! ****
When the show started and American Alpha's music hit, I was like OMG! OMG! OMG! I was really looking forward to this one and I knew it wouldn't disappoint. Apart from the botchamania moment, which I didn't mind, there wasn't anything else that wasn't awesome. And I love it how both teams have been shining/building reputations separately, so that a big match was in order to decide who the best tag team in NXT really is. Aaand, it's American Alpha! Grand Amplitude. 1-2-3. New tag champs, baybay! Also, you could see they showed real emotion when they won and I was beyond happy for 'em.

- Kota Ibushi! :yay:

- Austin Aries vs Baron Corbin was solid. **½
This was the worst match of the night compared to the rest of the card... I was hoping Aries would carry Corbin to a good performance, but oh well. The Deep Six sequence was neat and looked painful, though. That was probably the best moment of the match. The finish came out of left field, as Aries countered the End of Days into O'Connor Roll and secured the win. The feud is likely to continue and I hope their next outing is better. Also... Shout-out to Tom Phillips for referencing that A Double ended Samoa Joe's record ROH title reign.

- Shinsuke Nakamura vs Sami Zayn was excellent! *****
This was perfection. MOTN and MOTY. Both guys were awesome! Zayn and Nakamura never flop in big match situations. And I can't explain how much I love Nakamura. His entrance, his music, his mannerisms, his big goofy grin, his charisma is what makes him one of the best on the planet. I couldn't have asked for a better Zayn farewell match or Nakamura's debut match. Excellent stuff!

- Asuka vs Bayley was great. ****
This match met my expectations. It's among Bayley's best matches and definitely Asuka's best match since her debut. This was done really well, as Bayley played the underdog who had to step up her game and be aggressive 'cause she was facing a killer and Asuka... Well, Asuka's been booked as an absolute monster since her debut and now she wears the crown. Who can stop her now? That's right, nobody! Also, I loved that Asuka didn't care for hugging/crying post-match, she's here to kick ass and win titles!

- Bobby Roode! :yay:

- Finn Bálor vs Samoa Joe was a great ME! ****
Marked for Bálor's entrance, as usual. Man, this was better than their London bout, as it had a grudge match feel to it, something the London bout lacked. Joe was busted open early and retaliated by throwing Finn over the barricade and flattening a security guard! :damn:
His intensity was off the charts, as well as Finn's. I was a bit annoyed by the constant ref stoppages, as it kinda ruined the flow of the match, but then again, I understand... Now, I wasn't surprised by Bálor retaining, I was just surprised about the finish itself. I thought it would've worked better in London to set up this rematch in Dallas, hence the "I survived the London match" remarks made by Finn, but oh well. I guess this is it for Joe and he is off to wreck someone this Monday night on RAW. What's next for Bálor, though? Bálor Club featuring Machine Gun and Doc? Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing where this NXT ride goes from here on out!

Another downer on this show: The anti PG geeks who got pissed off at WWE for making sure Joe did not go blind

Really feel good moment. And man, Jordan is what Benjamin could've been if he had charisma.

This must have been a feel good moment for Jordan. He's the longest serving member of the WWE developmental system ever. He's been there for four years with numerous pushes failing. Then Gable shows up and everything finally clicks

I didn't really enjoy Asuka vs Bayley that much. I think it definitely suffered due to having to follow Nakamura vs Zayn, never really clicked for me. The crowd was kinda into it, but just chanting random things mostly... not really reacting that much, idk. It was a babyface match where the crowd was clearly into one of them more than the other. Didn't like it that much (still a good match though). The main event was obviously harmed by the doctor stoppages (necessary or not, can't deny it took away from the bout), turned out to be just a fine match overall I think, especially considering the finish. Joe just losing again was... eh. Other than that this was an awesome show. Opener was great, Aries vs Corbin was fine and Nakamura vs Zayn will go down as one of the best matches this year, no doubt. I wouldn't go *****, but very close.

Fucking epic event.
I have only saw 1 NXT show before, almost a year ago now lol.
So I didn't have much clue of who most of these guys were or seen them wrestle. I saw Zayn at roadblock but that's it. I had a blast watching this show.
That nakamura/zayn match was a pure masterpiece to watch. It felt so real and genuine. I'd never even heard of nakamura before so his entrance was incredible. And his mannerisms were awesome.
Looked like he had a bad landing on his neck at one point tho glad he's ok.

Comparing this to the main roster isn't even fair. I have a feeling this was much better than wrestlemania will be. If I'm wrong then I'll be shocked, but the aura of this thing was incredible.

I see why they kept stopping to wipe Joe off... that looked like a decent gash. But I loved the fuck pg chants lol.
And a surprising finish to the main event but I liked it. Goes along with their feud nicely from what I caught in the promo.

Overall great show and I'll be keeping an eye on NXT more closely from here on out. Love it. I say fuck moving them up to the main roster. That only ruins them.
