Adam Cole is one of the best wrestlers in the world, IMO. Well, maybe I should rephrase that. Adam Cole's personality and wresting ability combined make him one of the best. There are MANY wrestlers who are better and more skilled, but Adam Cole is talented in the ring and can be a real douchebag or a phenomenal face at the drop of a hat. His best known work is in Ring of Honor, where he was the first person to win the world championship there three times. And, most importantly, his butt looks awesome in a nice tight pair of jeans.

All you need to know is he is ADAM COLE BAY BAY!
Okay...so he's a great "all round" performer with a nice butt...

No wonder you like him..

I'm super tired, so if I do a full review I'll do it later, but here's the gist

I used to play a lot of GM Mode, and sometimes I'd have a ppv made up of five star matches. I've always wondered what a show like that would be like in real life. I no longer need to ask that question

Nothing is gonna beat that TakeOver for me. It was worth staying up until 3AM to watch it.

Gargano/Almas - I really enjoyed the match, loved the finish with the t-shirt. Really good stuff, but was outdone by better matches on the card. Caught me off guard with Almas winning, but that makes it more fun.

AOP/Sanity - What a match! The Eric Young being able to tag situation was really cool, as was Paul Ellering/Nikki Cross and Nikki being absolutely destroyed into that table. Good work on making Sanity the champions, they deserve them.

Black/Itami - Let's just stop for a moment and appreciate the match-ending Black Mass, because jesus christ it nearly took the man's head off. Match of the night for me tbh, such a brutal and hard-hitting match.

Asuka/Ember - One of the best matches of the night, for sure. Was really expecting Ember to win, so to see Asuka continue her record-breaking reign makes me wonder who can beat her. Probably Kairi Sane.

Roode/McIntyre - Loved the match between Roode and Roddy Piper Jnr with his entrance, good to see that McIntyre got the championship because he finally deserves to get some gold. Hopefully Bobby goes to the main roster now.

Let's not forget the best part of the entire night....ADAM COLE BAYBAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I marked so hard, it's so clever to team him with reDRagon. God, Triple H is a mastermind.

Overall, 10/10. Best show so far.

Seriously? WWE didn't give half a shit about him before. Then he went to a real company like TNA, they gave him the gold he deserved and let him actually show off his talents, then WWE changed their mind now that he was suddenly being noticed as popular.

every match was a banger except for the main event. That's why I gave it a 9/10 because I think a perfect show from top to bottom (or bottom to top in this case) deserves a 10/10 but the main event kinda ruined that for them. Takeovers are a proof that crowd interaction can make any PPV a success. So shout out to the crowd for keeping this alive, they're not lying when they say that the wrestlers feed off of the people's energy.
  • Almas vs Garagano was great
  • the tag title match was great
  • Black vs Itami was good (poor hideo tho)
  • and then there was Asuka vs Ember Moon which was the match of the night for me. After what seemed like the most boring match they could have had back in April, they came back stronger than ever and put on an absolute classic. When I was watching Ember's promos with Asuka, I was already getting the feeling of "the crowd's not really into Ember, maybe they'll move away from her" and they did. BUT, the way she performed last night completely turned me around, she brought the best out of Asuka and honestly, I wouldn't have minded if Asuka's streak ended on such an amazing match. I mean people won't put it up there with Sasha vs Bayley but I will. Now the only real question remains.. who the fuck will go over Asuka now? Will this woman ever get called up? Who knows but I like it a lot
  • Now, to the only "bad" thing on this Takeover, I did not like Roode vs Drew. And I expected nothing else because honestly I haven't seen a real banger from both of them. Bobby is mostly just an entrance and Drew is just average from what I've seen since he came back. I don't get the whole "these guys are from a different company, so they have to be good, right?" thing. Drew is still the same Drew from years ago and Bobby hasn't had a really good match in NXT ever since he signed. This sounds like I hate them (which I don't, I really want them to succeed) but if you look at the rest of the card, it seems rather ironic that the worst match is the main event. Thank god they had Adam Cole come out and end it on a better note for me, let's hope that he also doesn't get carried away from the "indie hype"
but ye, I believe them now when they say that this is the Wrestlemania of NXT

NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III absolutely ruled, it was amazing and I loved it! 10/10

Every match on the card was good at the very least, the crowd was good and it was an entertaining PPV overall.

- Andrade Cien Almas vs Johnny Gargano was a great show opener. ★★★★
They couldn't have chosen to have a better opener than this one, if anyone was going to get the crowd going, it was going to be El Ídolo and Johnny Wrestling. Both guys worked hard and had an invested crowd behind them every step of the way, the near falls were good, as was the finish, it really felt fresh and creative even though it was a distraction finish. Almas picking up the win here was a little bit surprising to me, but I don't mind it all, and it made sense for him to win considering he's going in a different direction now that Vega's his manager and is pushing him to be more aggressive and serious, and less tranquilo. All in all, great stuff, loved it!

- Sanity vs The Authors of Pain was very good. ★★★¾
This match exceeded my expectations last night, not only was it very good and fun, but it also featured a surprise title change. I thought The AoP were going to win and Sanity was perhaps going to the main roster and ultimately they'd be revealed as the ones behind the attacks on Breezango, but that clearly wasn't the case. So, yeah, it was a good and fun match, with the homestretch being really damn good and the crowd was into the title change by the end of the match. Also, the interference by Nikki Cross was fun and Wolfe put on a damn good performance, his best one yet. Now, as for the post-match stuff with O'Reilly and Fish attacking both teams, what can I say? I loved it because reDRagon!

- Aleister Black vs Hideo Itami was good. ★★★
Although not the best match on the card, it was still good and hard-hitting. It lacked a little bit of drama, especially in the homestretch to take it to that next level, but oh well. It was still good for what it was.

- Asuka vs Ember Moon was great and MOTN. ★★★★¼
Great match, better than their last one. Both ladies put on a great effort, especially Ember, this was her best performance to date and on top of that, they had an invested crowd. The homestretch ruled, I was pulling for Ember to win, but ultimately Asuka made her tap out, which made sense considering she was targeting the prebiously injured arm. Ember looked good even in defeat and got emotional after the match. So, now it looks like the winner of the Mae Young Classic will go on to defeat Asuka. Fine by me, even though I would've loved for Ember to dethrone Asuka.

- Drew McIntyre vs Bobby Roode was a good ME. ★★★¼
This felt a little bit long, but it was good. It definitely lacked something to take it to that next level, though. I liked that McIntyre came out victorious, but what I liked even more was Adam Cole baybay! reDRagon coming out to distract McIntyre followed by Adam Cole hitting the ring was a true mark out moment for me.

All in all, the show was great and TakeOver delivered as it always does.

Actually, it was one of the best things they've done in a while.
WWE is like that hot girlfriend who cheats on you constantly and openly only uses you for your money, but every once in a while she gives you a decent blowjob so you won't finally grow a pair and leave her no-good sorry ass.

NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III was a good show with some great moments. 7/10

- Andrade Cien Almas vs Johnny Gargano ★★★★ (MOTN)
Great match and my personal MOTN. I love both Cien Almas and Johnny Sports Entertainment. Was rooting for Almas towards the end (Los Ingobernables <3).

- Sanity vs The Authors of Pain ★★★1/2
Good match. Exceeded my expectations. Great to see EY winning. The post-match stuff with ReDRagon was great. Hopefully the tag-team division will become great again with the debuts of ReDRagon and Street Profits, with TM-61 returning soon aswell.

- Aleister Black vs Hideo Itami ★★★
Good match. Loved the Black Mass at the end. Hideo losing was sad :(

- Asuka vs Ember Moon ★★1/2
I couldn't get into this match. I just don't like Ember Moon (boring as fuck). Glad Asuka retained. Ember Moon is not ready to win the title.

- Drew McIntyre vs Bobby Roode ★★★¼
This match exceeded my expectations. Roode should've won. The post-match stuff with Adam Cole and ReDRagon was great. Cole coming back from the dead was awesome. ADAM COLE BAYBAY!
