I have a bit of a grudge with Bleacher Report. I have been a columnist on several websites, as most of you know. Bleacher Report didn't like my writing so I tested them. I was in a journalism class with a professor who had a PhD in journalism and wrote for USA Today at one point. We wrote up a column together, submitted it and they turned it down. They claimed the writing wasn't good.
Now, on my own, I am a better writer than anyone on Bleacher Report. I have had papers published in academic journals. I wrote this allegory called "The Box" which was a story about philosophy. I won a scholarship for it from Phi Theta Kappa (of which I am a member). BUT this article was written together with a freaking PhD in journalism so I know they probably didn't read it. When I revealed the con, they got pretty pissed at me :emoji_slight_smile:
