I give it a 7. I think this was a decent all around PPV. I mean, it wasn't great and it had some lame parts... such as the mixed tag and the women's match.. but mostly, it was all around and entertaining.

I liked:

Ambrose vs Miz ***1/2 This was a really good opening match. A few times I was REALLY hoping Miz's antics would get Ambrose DQed but it was good nonetheless.

Hardyz vs Sheamus and Cesaro ***1/2 This was a good match too. I don't like tag matches much but tag cage matches are good. I enjoyed it.

Main Event **** This was slow in parts but it had some good parts in it and I overall really enjoyed it and it is the match of the night :)

I didn't Like:

Mixed Tag match * This was boring as hell.

Bliss vs Bayley * Short and boring and disappointing

Aries vs Neville ** This was just dull. I don't know why these guys can't have a good match

Preshow: I spent the majority arguing with my friends on whether or not Kalisto looks like the love child of Great Muta and Drago, okay match

Miz vs Ambrose was beautiful, I loved every second of it

Team Swankers vs Team Faux was okay, not bad by any means, but nothing special

Bayley vs Bliss was awful. Brawl, grab stick, chase, "I'm going to hit you, Alexa!", don't hit Alexa, drop stick, get hit, DDT, over. So underwhelming

I actually missed both the tag team match and the cruiserweight match, had to pick up a pizza. The pizza was great though. Also, I caught the end of Neville and Aries, really good ending

Fatal Five way was amazing, the best part was Finn kicking Roman, it looked so brutal. The ending was so unexpected, I don't know if anybody predicted Joe winning, and I'm not even mad at Finn taking the L

Sounded like it did better than I thought. I might watch the Hardyz match. They always put on a good show.

Looks like Drago's child alone lol

Okay...so...
~ Kalisto defeated Apollo Crews...and tell me if I'm crazy...but weren't these two allies on SmackDown?
~ The Miz has the IC title back...and Thank the Wrestling Gods for that...
~ Sasha was on the winning team...and that's all that matters from this match...
~ Alexa destroyed Bayley on her own...and now the burial of Bayley is complete...Alexa vs. Sasha please...
~ I actually picked Cesaro & Sheamus to win this one...can the Hardyz be broken now?
~ Neville retained...long may he reign!
~ And looks like I'm getting that Lesnar/Joe match I wanted...at the worst ever named pay per view...in which Joe
will be crushed because we all know they are just building to Lesnar vs. [HASHTAG]#IgnoreReigns[/HASHTAG] at Wrestlemania 34.

That would also seem to indicate that [HASHTAG]#IgnoreReigns[/HASHTAG] is going to win the Royal Rumble in 2018...

Won't that go down well...

On a side note...I think I had a good run with the prediction contest this time around...
in fact...I think I picked all 6 main card matches...Nice.

I still couldn't give a shit though...lol

Barring some major change, we can all believe that Roman Reigns is very likely going to face Lesnar at WrestleMania 34. However, that doesn't mean he is going to win the Royal Rumble. In fact, I would assume that he wouldn't have to. Just the fact that he and Lesnar had a match at Mania 31 and that they are the only two people to ever beat Taker at Mania is more than enough of a story to give Reigns the title shot. They could use the Rumble winner to build up the other match.

Joe's crushing will likely be a lead in for Lesnar/Strowman though. They logic I have heard is they wanted to put Lesnar up against someone they wouldn't have to worry about giving a rematch too so they can move right back into the Strowman feud. But yeah, Joe will be crushed.

Which is a real shame...because if the WWE had any sense they would make
Joe the FULL TIME brutal, unstoppable monster Champion instead of Lesnar.

You make a valid point...but...just looking back at the WWE booking for the
last few years...I can see [HASHTAG]#IgnoreReigns[/HASHTAG] winning the Rumble. You just know
Vince will want him to.

Just look at the Goldberg/Lesnar build up from this year. The match didn't
need the Universal title...but Vince wanted it involved in the match...so it was...
only for it to not even be the main event and instead everyone got to watch
a man "everybody" hates beat up and end the career of a man "everyone"
respects & loves.

I'm sorry...but I don't trust the WWE booking when [HASHTAG]#IgnoreReigns[/HASHTAG] is involved...
because everyone else gets fucked over...and its not fair on the other performers
or the fans who simply don't want...and will never want [HASHTAG]#IgnoreReigns[/HASHTAG] as the
"Top Guy"

  • Miz vs Ambrose positively surprised me in capitalizing on the stipulation perfectly, made for a great opener
  • the mixed tag match happened
  • Bliss vs Bayley happened
  • the Tag title match was great with Jeff coming back in
  • Neville/Aries was a solid match with a great ending, I'm really happy with how they're booking Neville's reign. Next to Strowman he's probably the only guy who doesn't get 50/50 booking at the moment
  • Fatal 5 Way was amazing as expected with the right victor. Something I find hilarious is how people say Roman doesn't get reactions yet everytime he was involved in this match he got a louder reaction than everyone else in the match. Anyways, looking forward to Joe vs Brock.. I hope they deliver. After all there's a lot of internet hype for this match, they better live up to it

Miz vs Ambrose alone brings this PPV up to a 10 for me. It was the only match I was interested in and it was fantastic. Amazing booking, Im amazed that its a WWE match because the booking was so good. They utilized the stipulation, protected the babyface in a loss, had the heel win in heelish fashion, and most amazingly the heel looks credible. Miz didn't win by pure dumb luck like most heels in WWE today, he heeled it up and screwed over the babyface! Perfect.

The Alexa Bliss Revolution drags it down to a zero for me. I thought the Horsewoman Revolution was badly booked and boring, but dear god the Alexa Bliss Revolution has undone all the work in womens wrestling in WWE over the past couple of years. We're back to the Divas era.

Not interested in the CW's. Sheamus/Cesaro winning was the right choice, they needed a win after the Hardys had just been squashing them every week. Main Event was irrelevant to me, 5 of the people who bore me the most in WWE going at it...pass.

Miz winning and getting to look like a credible heel again is my only take away from this PPV, well that and that Alexa Bliss must actually be 8 feet tall.

10/10 for Miz. Miz for President!

I knew the Miz winning would have you smiling...

That seems a bit harsh...I mean I don't consider Alexa a "Diva" but it is clear the WWE is making her the focal point of the entire division.

It really depends...I think we will have a better idea once the Alexa/Sasha feud starts. Both Alexa & Sasha are only 25 years old and
Sasha has the ability to make any opponent look solid in the ring. Fingers crossed the long term plan is for Alexa & Sasha to be the
two top women for the next 8 to 10 years.

Well...at least once my Bae Charlotte retires that is.
