Hello everyone and welcome to the AEW ALL OUT Rate and Recap for August 31st 2019! this is AEWs last show before AEW comes to TNT in October, so lets get this underway! as always leave share your thoughts below rate in the poll above. And if ya missed the show you can check out my recap below! so lets start the show with the Pre Show..or rather the Buy In!
-BUY IN: PRE-SHOW-
Womens Casino Battle Royale
So admittedly i missed quite a bit of this because i was getting it load and the notepad i use to make these notes wasnt loading, so while i did miss quite a bit and thus cant recap it, i can give you all a review.
This was better then Double or Nothings Casino Battle Royale, they did a great job with everyone getting a chance to shine, and they alot of great women in this match, the joker ended up being Mercedes, who ive not heard of but the crowd went nuts, and she did alot of great stuff.
It was a great way to kick off the show, it came down to Brit Baker, Nyla Rose and Brea Presitly..yes i butchered that name i know, or atleast i think i did. but anyway.
Nyla Rose actually ended up winning, which i must say was a nice surprise, since alot of thought brit baker would win, really great match. And the AEW Womens title also looks fantastic.
Next up we got Private Party against Jack Evens and Angelico
Jack Evens and Angelica VS Private Party
I wanted to do a recap of this match, but im not familer with the names of the members of private party, so keeping up with who was who was impossible, so once again you shall get a review, luckily its the pre show.
these two teams are fantastic, private party are such a great team and they work incredibly well together, Jack Evens and Angelico are just as good, but Private Party shined in this match, if you didnt know who they were before, you will now. And their finisher is also awesome.
Private Party gets the win and they deserve it, such a great team, Both teams shake hands in the end but Angelico and Jack Evens did a sneak attack and turned heel, great stuff. Best part is there was Party Pooper chants, which was hilarious.
And now with JR coming out, we can get the main show underway!

SCU VS A Boy, A Small Boy, And His Dinosaur.
Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy are over to a big extent, great stuff. This match starst franky and Jungle boy starts, some great wrestling between the two they are even in the ring but franky gets control as daniels gets the tag and they gain control. but not for long, Jungle boy tags in Luchasaurus who gets a great bit of offense. eventually SCU are outside, first marco stunt dives out, the jungle boy, then the crowd goes wild as luchasarus also dives over the top rope.
These teams go back and forth with some great action, Luchasuarus Marco stunt and Jungle Boy are so over, anyone they are against are just automaticly the heels just by being against them. SCU has control scorpio sky has jungle boy but jungle boy fights out with a clothesline as both go for the hot tag, Luchasaurus tags in as comes Luchasarus and he goes off, he flips out of the way does a kip up lays out SCU hits a chokeslam and does a standing moonsault.Luchasarus is absolutely incredible and the crowd is loseing their minds, the luchasarus chants are deafening.
SCU end up getting the upperhand, and hitting a kind of double tombstone to pin marco stunt for the win. both teams shake hands in the end, no heel turn this time.
Kenny Omega VS PAC
So we kick off this match the two lock up in the ring, these two play mind games with each other. Kenny hits pac in the stomach runs the ropes and tries a fameaser like move but Pac SOMEHOW flips through just before landing head first onto his feet, which looked incrredible, these two do some great hard hitting moves, They fight on the outside for a bit get back in the ring, and Pac takes control with a huge dropkick.
Pacs got a submission center of the ring, his arms around kennys head, Kenny fights out hits some knife edge chops, he knocks Pac to the outside, does a awesome dive over the top rope, and gains control. Kenny gets pac back in the ring goes to the top rope, and hits a dropkick to the back of Pacs head for a near fall.
Kenny goes to do a move in the corner but Pac stops him gets to the top rope, and lands a DDT for a near fall. Pac gets to the top rope goes for black arrow but kenny gets outside, he changes position and does a moonsault that looked brutal. he hits a splash in the ring for a nearfall. Pacs got control . they trade hits in the ring, the crowd cheer for kenny boo for pac. Kenny gets the upperhand but Pac fires back. Kenny uses a ton of strength and kicks pac all the way to the corner, and hits a spinebuster for the nearfall.
Kenny goes for V Trigger but Pac dodges it with the ref, eventually omega tries again this time he hits it, goes for one winged angle but pac stops him so instead kenny hits a german suplex. they fight a bit more Pac hits a sick cutter from the ropes into the ring for a near fall.
The action continues Kenny gets control, hits a sick snap german, goes for V Trigger and hits it, and gets a near fall. Kenny picks pac up and sets up for it again, pac catches it and htis akick to the stomach then the chest, misses another kick and pac hits him with multiple more kicks, pac runs the ropes and kenny finally hits V Trigger again, both run the ropes and Kenny hits another knee.
Finally kenny goes for the one winged angle but Pac turned it into the brutalizer, and Kenny doesnt tap but he does fade and pass out, Pac gets the win.
Next up we got a triple threat match
Darby Allen VS Jimmy Havoc VS Joey Janela
Jimmy havoc immediately gets weapons out and wastes no time, he gets in the ring with a stable gun and then...stables himself? you sick fuck chants echo as they double team jimmy havoc.they tape him to a chair, pour tumb tacks in his mouth, tape his mouth shut, well alright then.
Darby allens speed is incredible he gets the upper hand gets to the top rope, havoc asks for darby to hit him and he gladly does a hits a dive onto jimmy havoc, then joey hits a painful move to allen on the apron and gets more stuff from the ring, namely a table.havoc returns and pits out the thumb stacks at joey and takes control , he grabs a chair joey in the ring. Hits a sloid move for a nearfall. Then havoc give joey a paper cut inbetween the fingers and then the mouth. But joeyr gets the upper hand, knocking down havoc and as darby allen gets on the apron, joey flips through and slams darby into the table.
Joey and havoc are in the ring darby come sin witha skateboard, and htis them with it, funfact the skatboard had thumbtacks, then joeys bent over in the ring darby has the skateboard and skateboard landing on joeys back nearfall havoc pulls him out
SO much stuff is happening omg lol
Havocs on the steel steps darbys got a cracker barrel put it to his back and did the faith drop, but havoc rolls outta the way so darby just goes through a barrel on the stairs.
more stuff happens in the ring joey hits a elbow from the top rope for a nearfall. then joey gets a barrel puts it on havoc but havoc gets up hits joey suplexs him onto part of the barrel, then havoc hits the acid rainmaker into the barrel to joey for the pin. Man that match was nuts.
And now we got more tag team action.
Best Friends VS The Dark Order
We start off with best freinds chants, these two teams are pretty even to start going back and forth, but the best friends get the upper hand. for a shorrt time atleast, the dark order double team and quickly get control of this match.
I missed a bit of the match getting my stuff fixed, but i saw enough to peice it together Dark order kept control for a bit but best friends got the hot tag they ran wild for a bit but the dark order eventually got control back, they won with fatality, this was an okay match, but the previous tag match earlier in the night was much better.
After the match ends the lights go out and orange casssidy is in the ring and the crowd goes nuts, orange cassidy actually runs and does a dive out fo the ring onto the dark order, the best friends hug cassidy in the ring huge crowd pop.
next up we got a match to decide who will fight Nyla rose for the AEW womens title
Shida VS Riho
this two are already fantastic. Shida quickly gains control of the match laying in a boston crab in the middle of the ring, modifying it to a single leg crab. unfortunately i had more issues so i will be skipping over some moments, they ddi some great stuff back and forth, both are down middle of the ring. SHida gets up goes for brain buster but riho allmost counters but shida outpowers her with a deadlift suplex.
Shida hits sime knee trikes runs the ropes hits another knee strike for a near fall. Shida picks riho up who tires to roll up shida a few times, the third time shida counters and brings her to the apron, does a suplex from the outside to the inside in the ring for a nearfall.
Shidas about to run the ropes but riho grabs her leg, shida goes for a move but riho counters with a northern lights suplex. and after a move from the top rope riho hits the double knees for a nearfall.
Riho goes for the diving foot stomp from the top rope but shida rolls away and hits a backbreaker for a nearfall. they go back and forth and Riho rolls up Shida for the win.
From what i saw this was a great match.
And now we got Cody Rhodes VS Shawn Spears...this should be fantastic.
Shawn Spears VS Cody Rhodes
Shawn comes out to the ring with a chair, appearntly its the same chair he used to hti cody with.
these two start fighting before the bell is rung they fight on the outside they go at it, they eventually get in the ring and the match starts off proper. Cody gets the upperhand and does a hurricane ranna from the top rope but spears goes outside, cody tries to dive out but spears hits him and lays him upside down on the apron, and hits a kick to codys head he slumps to the ground.
spears gets in the ring grabs cody, and hits a clothesline, spears gets on top of cody and starts smacking him a bit stomping on his head. Spears gets cody up hits a chop, cody gets out of the ring, spears goes after him and they dio some stuff on the outside get back in the ring. and just after cody drops down and hits spears shawn gets control and hits a DDT on the apron.
Shawn goes to hit cody belt shoves hefner hefner shoves back tully belt smacks cody codys mad smacks cody cody big boot gets control beats the hell outta spears lays him out.
Cody does a figure 4 and this si where a bunch fo stuff happens that i will try and recap, basicly tully and MJF get into a fight shawn spears hits MJF knocking him away from tully, tully attacks MJF on the outside and Arn anderson come sout and with the ref distracted hits a spinebuster and leaves as does tully, i imagine the ref kicked him out too.
shawn spears gets a chair from under the ring gets inside but cody kicks him before he can do anything with it. cody grabs the chair it seems like hes gotta hit spears but he tosses it away, the do some hits cody grabs the chair tooses it to spears who catche sit, he hits disaster kick and then cross roads for the pin.
Next up, we got a ladder match.
Lucha Bros VS The Young Bucks
So we start this ladder match with both teams going at it, young bucks go for the meltzer driver early but lucha bros stop them, rey fenix hits a running powerbomb to get the upperhand, i'll be amazed if i can keep up with this match.
Lucha bros go to dive outside but young bucks use a ladder to hit them. young bucks take control some great double team moves, young bucks and pentagon are on the outside, fenix jumps from the ropes over the ladder onto the rest of them.
lucha bros get a ladder get it in the ring, and they do soem mor ecool stuff, which is my way of summerizeing what happened without having to go into detaisl i barely remember i can catch up again to the current action lol.
flips northern light ssuplexs dives to the outside, great stuff, they place pentagon on a ladder he fights off, rey fenix does a hurricane ranna to matt jackson onto the ladder with intesne speed. lucha bros set a ladder up and the best way i can describe this, let me kick in the writer in me.
The lucha bros use the ring like a playground, flipping around it with such grace moving from the ropes to the ladder hitting hurricanrannas like a mix of parkour and wrestling. but ultimately the young bucks get control back as mat jackson jumps to the ladder from the rope, then as fenix tries to knock him off the ladder to the outside matt ajdusts and leaps out to pentagon. eventually pentago get sin the ring him and nick jackson on the ladder, he swings around the ladder and hits a slingblade, its incredible.
goodness i cant keep up lol. so rey fenix dives through the ladder into a canadian destroyer, pentagon prio jumped trhough the same ladder to hit the other young buck. rey fenix one of the young bucks in the ring, he sets him up on the table rey fenix climbs the ladder but matyt jackson gets off the table and climbs up goes for the superlex fails pentagon gets up takes resy place and hits a candian destroyer from the ladder into a table.
This match has so much going on and its incredible. matt nick idk who gets pentagon outside the ring to This Is Awesome chants, meanwhile on the otherside rey fenix sets a young buck up rey gets on the ladder, both brothers dive onto the other person brother with a splash. rey fenix in the ring with a ladder nick jackson meet shim gets him up for a powerbomb fenix fights out they ecxchange superkicks. nick wins with a superkick tries to climb the ladder.
pentagon stops nick but matt comes in god i cant keep up LOL they do more stuff young bucks nick sets up for meltzer driver but pentagon stops it with a superkick and he knocks matt off the ladder into a table busts him open. they do more great stuff okay damn it ima have to go back so much happened and i was shocked, pentagons mask came off because a young buck ripped it off, they got revenge piledriver to the young bucks in the ladder. and the lucha bros get the titles for the win.
two dudes with masks come in lay out the lucha bros and the young bucks, they take their masks off, and L.A.X. have arrived to AEW.
And now its time for the main event, Hangman Adam Page verses Chris Jericho for the AEW world championship.
Chris Jericho VS Hangman Adam Page. AEW World Championship
We start this world title match the two lock up, they get to the corner ref breaks them up, they lock up again hangman gets the quick upperhand. Y2J and Hangman chants thunder throughout the arena. hangman hits jericho making jericho run the ropes, hangman catches him fallaway slamm jerichos outside the ring, they get outside brawla bit, Jeriocho insults him hangman chase shim back ino the ring jericho takes control. hitting a missle dropkick from the top rope for a nearfall.
jericho goes for the lion tamer but page uses his leg power to send jericho outside the ring, then hangman dives outside the ring onto jericho. adam gets jericho in the ring hits a clothesline from the top rope nearfall. hangman send sjericho to the ropes jericho catche shimself, hangman charges jericho he loweers the ropes adam goes over, they do stuff on the outside Adam page gets on the apron does a shooting star but jericho counters with the double knees, adam page barely makes the count and jericho knocks him outside the ring again.
Jericho gets out of the ring grabs hangman punchs him orarms him, slams him into the barricade, slams hangman on the apron. then wrenches hangmans arm in the barricade. he grabs the bell rings it and says he wins in hilarious fashion, he gets hangman back in the ring continues to target hangmans arm. the crowd chants stupid idiot.
Hangman tries to get some offense but jericho shut shim down, poseing on the turnbuckle. jericho locks in a hold continueing to hurt hangmans arm. Hangman tries to get more offesne but Jericho hits a huge dropkick for a nearfall. hangman tries to send jericho outside the ring but his leg gives out, jericho swings around the ropes goes to tthe top rope hits a cross body but hangman rolls through with a fall away slam. he hits a standing shooting star press for a nearfall.
hangman tries to do a dropkick jericho catches himself and hangman just falls down, jericho goes for lionsalt but hangman gets upo jumps to the middle rope and does a russian leg sweep from the middle rope to the matt.
jericho goes for and locks in the walls of Jericho, but adam page fights out with his strength. both men in the ring hangman hits a elbow and busst jericho open, jerichos on the outside recovering hangman following him. hangman shoves jericho into the barricade, jericho gets n the ring and hangman adam page has firm control. but he gave jericho too much time as jerichos near the corner page charge shim and jericho send shhim up and he lands face first on part of the turnbuckle.
jericho hangman on the top rope, hangman hits a swinging neckbreaker from the top rope for a nearfall. jerichos on his knees hangmans hitting him with punchs knees, another discuss elbow, he picks jericho up, tries to suplex but jericho reverse it and hangs hangman on the ropes. hangmans on the apron now and jericho hit shim but hangman hits a kick to jerichos face he gets in hit shte buckshot he goes for the deadyee but jericho rolls through into the walls of jericho.
jericho has him in the walls for awhile hangman eventually gets to the ropes. jericho and the ref have a minor altercation, jericho charges hangman who send sjericho to the outside, then adam page hits a moonsault to the outside onto jericho. hangman gets jericho into the ring. hangmans on the apron he leaps over for buckshot but he rolls right into a code breaker for a nearfall.
jericho lays in the hits but hangman hits another discuss elbow. they have a few exchanges, jericho goes for code breaker but hangman rolls through, they go back and forth until hangman hits the deadeye for a nearfall. hangman hits the buckshot goes for deadeye jericho reverses into a rollup hangman gets out and runs into The Judas Effect, and jericho gets the pin. Jericho is your new and first ever AEW World Champion.

Cody does a figure 4 and this si where a bunch fo stuff happens that i will try and recap, basicly tully and MJF get into a fight shawn spears hits MJF knocking him away from tully, tully attacks MJF on the outside and Arn anderson come sout and with the ref distracted hits a spinebuster and leaves as does tully, i imagine the ref kicked him out too.
shawn spears gets a chair from under the ring gets inside but cody kicks him before he can do anything with it. cody grabs the chair it seems like hes gotta hit spears but he tosses it away, the do some hits cody grabs the chair tooses it to spears who catche sit, he hits disaster kick and then cross roads for the pin.
Next up, we got a ladder match.
Lucha Bros VS The Young Bucks
So we start this ladder match with both teams going at it, young bucks go for the meltzer driver early but lucha bros stop them, rey fenix hits a running powerbomb to get the upperhand, i'll be amazed if i can keep up with this match.
Lucha bros go to dive outside but young bucks use a ladder to hit them. young bucks take control some great double team moves, young bucks and pentagon are on the outside, fenix jumps from the ropes over the ladder onto the rest of them.
lucha bros get a ladder get it in the ring, and they do soem mor ecool stuff, which is my way of summerizeing what happened without having to go into detaisl i barely remember i can catch up again to the current action lol.
flips northern light ssuplexs dives to the outside, great stuff, they place pentagon on a ladder he fights off, rey fenix does a hurricane ranna to matt jackson onto the ladder with intesne speed. lucha bros set a ladder up and the best way i can describe this, let me kick in the writer in me.
The lucha bros use the ring like a playground, flipping around it with such grace moving from the ropes to the ladder hitting hurricanrannas like a mix of parkour and wrestling. but ultimately the young bucks get control back as mat jackson jumps to the ladder from the rope, then as fenix tries to knock him off the ladder to the outside matt ajdusts and leaps out to pentagon. eventually pentago get sin the ring him and nick jackson on the ladder, he swings around the ladder and hits a slingblade, its incredible.
goodness i cant keep up lol. so rey fenix dives through the ladder into a canadian destroyer, pentagon prio jumped trhough the same ladder to hit the other young buck. rey fenix one of the young bucks in the ring, he sets him up on the table rey fenix climbs the ladder but matyt jackson gets off the table and climbs up goes for the superlex fails pentagon gets up takes resy place and hits a candian destroyer from the ladder into a table.
This match has so much going on and its incredible. matt nick idk who gets pentagon outside the ring to This Is Awesome chants, meanwhile on the otherside rey fenix sets a young buck up rey gets on the ladder, both brothers dive onto the other person brother with a splash. rey fenix in the ring with a ladder nick jackson meet shim gets him up for a powerbomb fenix fights out they ecxchange superkicks. nick wins with a superkick tries to climb the ladder.
pentagon stops nick but matt comes in god i cant keep up LOL they do more stuff young bucks nick sets up for meltzer driver but pentagon stops it with a superkick and he knocks matt off the ladder into a table busts him open. they do more great stuff okay damn it ima have to go back so much happened and i was shocked, pentagons mask came off because a young buck ripped it off, they got revenge piledriver to the young bucks in the ladder. and the lucha bros get the titles for the win.
two dudes with masks come in lay out the lucha bros and the young bucks, they take their masks off, and L.A.X. have arrived to AEW.
And now its time for the main event, Hangman Adam Page verses Chris Jericho for the AEW world championship.
Chris Jericho VS Hangman Adam Page. AEW World Championship
We start this world title match the two lock up, they get to the corner ref breaks them up, they lock up again hangman gets the quick upperhand. Y2J and Hangman chants thunder throughout the arena. hangman hits jericho making jericho run the ropes, hangman catches him fallaway slamm jerichos outside the ring, they get outside brawla bit, Jeriocho insults him hangman chase shim back ino the ring jericho takes control. hitting a missle dropkick from the top rope for a nearfall.
jericho goes for the lion tamer but page uses his leg power to send jericho outside the ring, then hangman dives outside the ring onto jericho. adam gets jericho in the ring hits a clothesline from the top rope nearfall. hangman send sjericho to the ropes jericho catche shimself, hangman charges jericho he loweers the ropes adam goes over, they do stuff on the outside Adam page gets on the apron does a shooting star but jericho counters with the double knees, adam page barely makes the count and jericho knocks him outside the ring again.
Jericho gets out of the ring grabs hangman punchs him orarms him, slams him into the barricade, slams hangman on the apron. then wrenches hangmans arm in the barricade. he grabs the bell rings it and says he wins in hilarious fashion, he gets hangman back in the ring continues to target hangmans arm. the crowd chants stupid idiot.
Hangman tries to get some offense but jericho shut shim down, poseing on the turnbuckle. jericho locks in a hold continueing to hurt hangmans arm. Hangman tries to get more offesne but Jericho hits a huge dropkick for a nearfall. hangman tries to send jericho outside the ring but his leg gives out, jericho swings around the ropes goes to tthe top rope hits a cross body but hangman rolls through with a fall away slam. he hits a standing shooting star press for a nearfall.
hangman tries to do a dropkick jericho catches himself and hangman just falls down, jericho goes for lionsalt but hangman gets upo jumps to the middle rope and does a russian leg sweep from the middle rope to the matt.
jericho goes for and locks in the walls of Jericho, but adam page fights out with his strength. both men in the ring hangman hits a elbow and busst jericho open, jerichos on the outside recovering hangman following him. hangman shoves jericho into the barricade, jericho gets n the ring and hangman adam page has firm control. but he gave jericho too much time as jerichos near the corner page charge shim and jericho send shhim up and he lands face first on part of the turnbuckle.
jericho hangman on the top rope, hangman hits a swinging neckbreaker from the top rope for a nearfall. jerichos on his knees hangmans hitting him with punchs knees, another discuss elbow, he picks jericho up, tries to suplex but jericho reverse it and hangs hangman on the ropes. hangmans on the apron now and jericho hit shim but hangman hits a kick to jerichos face he gets in hit shte buckshot he goes for the deadyee but jericho rolls through into the walls of jericho.
jericho has him in the walls for awhile hangman eventually gets to the ropes. jericho and the ref have a minor altercation, jericho charges hangman who send sjericho to the outside, then adam page hits a moonsault to the outside onto jericho. hangman gets jericho into the ring. hangmans on the apron he leaps over for buckshot but he rolls right into a code breaker for a nearfall.
jericho lays in the hits but hangman hits another discuss elbow. they have a few exchanges, jericho goes for code breaker but hangman rolls through, they go back and forth until hangman hits the deadeye for a nearfall. hangman hits the buckshot goes for deadeye jericho reverses into a rollup hangman gets out and runs into The Judas Effect, and jericho gets the pin. Jericho is your new and first ever AEW World Champion.

Well that was the show! i thought it was a great show, i will go mor ein depth in my review below, but as always share your thoughts below rate in the poll above, and i'll see yall later!
This was another fantastic PPV from AEW, they listened to their fans and didnt include the silly crap we didnt want, there were no librarians anywhere to be found, just great wrestling and serious storylines. My only complaint, well two complaints is Kenny and PAC went too long, it seems like they got exhuasted and spent too much time, and i feel like Shawn Spears should have went over.
Besides thsoe two complaints i cant say much about the Womens Casino Battle Royale, i didnt see much of it i had trouble, but it seem good from what i saw, i could be wrong. Overal i give this show a 4/5 - 8/10. fantastic.
