Yeah it's a harsh take on mjf but I totally get where you are coming from. I liked it more than most but in hindsight it didn't really pass the vibe test

While extreme, I get it. I think it was just way too overbooked. Like I said, laid it on a bit too thick.

Like it might the only PPV main event in AEW I didn't enjoy like alone actively despise. I still rate MJF but a lot of his title run was hit and miss imo with that being a huge miss. I also say him being low is a testament to the quality of the world title reigns cause I don't think it was a bad reign, just mixed

1. Omega - like I can’t even lie he was the shit during this and it felt huge
2. Hangman - taking the title off Omega and the chase of could he do it was just superb but at times it def felt like he wasn’t the main guy even if the was the champ. His next reign will make up for that I’m sure
3. Swerve - killer reign that made him a bonafide superstar and a killer
4. Samoa Joe - not all reigns have to be long to be great. Him and hangman are the two wins I was really excited by.
5. MJF - would have been better if he was a heel imo and didn’t get the super Cena treatment.
6. Moxley - I honestly can’t remember anything about an of his reigns that stick out to me
7. Jericho - great name to have the first champ be but he’s just insufferable and meh
8. CM Punk - when your reigns combined and less time than it takes to recover from a hangover it’s hard to rate very high

#8 CM PUNK - I am not going to go on a tagent with this dude, you all know how I feel by now about him. The ranking, however, has no personal feelings attached. It's simply because unfortunately, Punk was never able to ever have an actual reign. He won the title twice and unfortunately got injured and lost it. Then after he won it a second time, he was suspended 3 days later. The X belt was fucking stupid and it makes it worse for him tbh. Due to this factor, he is dead last.

Danielson - unranked because he just won

Honestly... I'd already rank Danielson and put him above Punk. That win on Sunday already feels like it gives the Title way more weight than Punk's botchy win against Page (and injuring himself so he couldn't do anything with it afterwards) and the whole second reign debacle put together.
