:urm: As it states in the 1st post it's because Orton's kick supposedly gives you a concussion. Punk/Bryan's kick isn't used to give people kay-fabe concussions. :dawg:

I really don't see any logic in this what-so-ever. First of all, as pointed out earlier in this thread it's a lot safer than a lot of the other kicks in the WWE. Second of all surely if they are going to remove kicks for " Concussional awarenesss" then they would remove Daniel Bryan's one for example. People recover from Daniel Bryan's kicks within a minute, so the kids watching might think "Oh I can kick my friend in the head and he will be okay, as the wrestlers are okay" instead of "Oh I better not kick my friend in the head, cause it hurts people when Randy Orton does it".

It should never have been removed in the first place, but their logic is so stupid it's unreal.

What about the broski boot? Just because he cant get the 1-2-3 after it happens gives it less of a real look? This is just sad, his punt was one of the few moves i looked forward too, now i see that viper turn-to-ground pound way too often it seems...and the last couple have been reversed because they "saw it coming..." which means they heard the mat get pounded from 3 feet away, ruining the approach in general (JMO)

Randy has a contract until 2019. That's probably when he'll retire. I'm pretty sure we'll get sick of him winning world titles in the future. They didn't need to ban the Punt Kick though. Stupid decision for stupid reasons.
