Orton still puts out an awesome dropkick though. I think a few new moves from him now and he will be the total package. I think the pose he did 3 years ago may comeback very soon.

If Orton ever did do his old 'Destiny' pose I would mark the fuck out. That is imo one of the coolest poses ever. I loved when Legacy did it last week on Raw.

Me also dude. I think that is why they did it. It could be making a comeback very soon to suit his face image. Just do not bring back " HEY NOTHING YOU CAN SAY".

I think he could incorperate a high-flying move, possibly a third (if you count the DDT fourth) finisher for him. I agree that his old pose might come back especially with Ted and Cody mocking him by doing that pose I can see it coming back. Did anyone else notice that Randy walked to the ring quite quickly on Raw.

Yeah he didn't take 5 mins to walk down the ramp. I'm guessing its a slow face build for him in every way. Move-set, entrance, poses maybe even new music?

Not that he needs new music but ti think heavier face music would be good for Orton. Along the lines of punks. Orton did in fact use punks back in 2006 before WM22 for one night on smackdown. I thought it suited him then, wwe did not.

I remember him using a new theme for one night, didn't realize it was Punk's, that old song he had was quality and could suit a face but I don't think they will change him that much.

Don't fuck with the music. It's fine.

Yeah, he did use "This Fire Burns" for a short time. He wanted a metal theme but for some reason or another the WWE went back to using "Burn In My Light" which I actually liked tbh. But it doesn't fit him.

I actually heard that "Voices" was written to be used exclusively as his theme.

I like voices i think a small remix of it would be cool. He needs to freshen up himself if he is going to be a successful face.

tbh, I am not 100% sold on his face run.... If it can be called that, I think it is more a tweener run by a heel-character that the fans love to cheer. Will be longer then a few months.

He doesn't need his music changed. As he goes face, his music will eventually grow on you. Do you think by any means that HHH's theme is meant for a face? Or how about Batista's theme? The I walk alone shit suddenly was seen from a whole new light. Or how about claiming CM Punk needed a new theme song because This Fire Burns was too much faceish...only to people nearly riot now when they hear it. Basically, he doesn't need a new theme song.

He does need to wrestle differently. Bring back the dropkicks and the top rope crossbodies.

They're both generally overrated by most people as performers, but I can see them being fan favorites. Orton definitely needs to try to revert back to his younger character a bit, but without all of the Triple H sabotage to make him look like a candy ass like after he won the World Title from Benoit. He can use a lot of improvement, but he's been booked to be bad enough that fans will react to him as a face.

Edge has the same stigma as being booked to look evil enough that the fans will react to him big as a face. Although they've done a bad job with it. He could have easily have gone to the "Smackdown 6" character before his first injury and I thought would have been great. He'll be fine in the end as long as he works with people that draw heat for him. "Spear" is working fine now, but fans won't react to it for long, especially after he goes away from Jericho.

If you asked me who I thought was the better wrestler, i'd definitely say Edge. If it's who's going to get a better face reaction, i'd pick Orton.

Randy Orton without a doubt. He managed to keep his awesome heel character but transform himself into a tweener, or even face depending on how you look at it. He doesn't suck up to the crowd. He even flat out said he doesn't like Triple H before that match on Monday. He doesn't have to make the typical face moves for people to like him which is why it makes him superior to Edge right now. Edge had a great heel character much like Orton, but he didn't keep the same gimmick when he turned face. He just sucked up to the crowd and tried to be funny, it still hasn't worked, and he just keeps saying SPEAR all the time. I think he should have said SPEAR SPEAR SPEAR when he was heel because it might have gotten mad heat because of it's annoyance much like EXCUSE ME!

Orton wins.

Building on what Enzo said, Randy doesn't have a very 'face' moveset. It's mainly stomps, kicks, headlocks and a few other strikes and grapple moves like his awesome neckbreaker and then the RKO. But the way he methodically picks apart his opponents, almost like a viper aren't typical face tactics. But he isn't necessarily a cookie cutter face. I love his current moveset and it really helps his character. But if he added in a few more athletic, flashy type moves from the 'Legend Killer' days it would help overall his getting over as a face. I honestly want either Edge or Orton to be a badass, sociopathic face character.

He has been doing the Dropkick again. Since Legacy did "his pose", It must mean he is going to go back to doing it.
