The 1961 Rutgers Scarlet Knights football team represented Rutgers University in the 1961 NCAA University Division football season. In their second season under head coach John F. Bateman, the Scarlet Knights compiled a perfect 9–0 record, won the Middle Three Conference championship and outscored their opponents 246 to 102. It was Rutgers's first undefeated season, 92 years after winning the first ever intercollegiate football game in 1869.[2]

Crestone was platted in 1880 by George Adams, owner of the neighboring Luis Maria Baca Grant No. 4.[citation needed] In the 1970s, the Baca Grande land development was established on the lands of the Baca Grant to the south and west. Several hundred homes have been built there[when?][citation needed].

Big Blue Bus (stylized in lowercase) is a municipal bus service primarily serving the city of Santa Monica and the greater Westside region of Los Angeles County, California. The service, operated by the city of Santa Monica, was founded on April 14, 1928 and throughout its existence has used a blue color scheme for its buses, leading to the Big Blue Bus nickname that would later become the official name of the agency. In 2022, the system had a ridership of 7,119,600, or about 26,500 per weekday as of the third quarter of 2023. Dora Noyce (born Georgie Hunter Rae, 1900[1]–1977)[2] was a Scottish brothel keeper ("madam") based in Edinburgh.

Born Georgie Hunter Rae in Rose Street, Edinburgh,[3] the youngest of five, her parents were Alexander Rae, a cutler, and his wife Mary.[4] The poverty of her upbringing led Rae to prostitution and was working in the occupation before she reached her majority, soon adopting the accent of the affluent Morningside district of the city. Although not her first offence, she did not receive her first conviction for living off immoral earnings until 1934.[3][5] Noyce had a daughter Violet (b. 1923), and took the surname of her child's official father to use as a pseudonym.[1]
