The Stabat Mater is a 13th-century Christian hymn to the Virgin Mary that portrays her suffering as mother during the crucifixion of her son Jesus Christ. Its author may be either the Franciscan friar Jacopone da Todi or Pope Innocent III.[1][2][3] The title comes from its first line, "Stabat Mater dolorosa", which means "the sorrowful mother was standing".[4]

The hymn is sung at the liturgy on the memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows. The Stabat Mater has been set to music by many Western composers.

The second expedition of Bashir ibn Saʽd al-Anṣari (بشير بن سعد الأنصاري), which was to Yemen, took place in February 628 AD,10th Month 7AH, of the Islamic Calendar.

In Shawwal, Saʽd Al-Ansari marched towards Yemen and Jabar on the order of Muhammad, as the commander of 300 Muslim fighters to subdue a large group of polytheists who they believed gathered to raid the outskirts of Madinah, with Uyaynah ibn Hisn. Bashir and his men used to march at night and hide during the day, until they reached their destination. Having heard about the advent of the Muslims, the polytheists fled away leaving behind them a large amount of booty, which was captured, along with 2 men who later embraced Islam on arrival to Madinah.

Bitchū-Matsuyama Domain (備中松山藩, Bitchū-Matsuyama-han) was a feudal domain under the Tokugawa shogunate of Edo period Japan, in what is now western Okayama Prefecture. It controlled most of central Bitchū Province and was centered around Bitchū Matsuyama Castle. It was ruled in its latter history by a branch of the Itakura clan. Following the Meiji restoration, it was briefly renamed Takahashi Domain (高梁藩, Takahashi-han). It was dissolved in the abolition of the han system in 1871 and is now part of Okayama Prefecture.

Formed in 1942 as the 13th Defense Battalion, its original mission was to provide air and coastal defense for advanced naval bases. During the war the battalion defended Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and Hawaii. The battalion was the first Defense/AAA Battalion to be decommissioned during the war officially folding its flag on September 7, 1944.
