Well a few things have either caught my interest or pissed me off with TNA lately, so I thought I would vent my frustration here.
Look, I know TNA used to rush iMPACT! a bit with their one hour show, and I know it has been two hour for awhile, but I think their rushing of it has gotten worse as of late.
Stupid segments are multiplying all over the place. Why do we have to see this stupid Eric Young chasing Elvis thing. At least it gives me a break to do a dump. Any segment JB is in is almost guaranteed to be 'humouress', and thus not worthing watching.
The interviews are fine, but I have a message TNA. Three backstage promos to one match is not a good ratio at all. It is terrible. No other promotion in the world does this. Why does TNA? Do they think it sets them apart? Or are they just trying to look like dumbasses.
This whole thing is causing iMPACT! to suffer, as it means that they have to rush their matches. Never mind the fact that TNA probably books one too many matches per week anyway. TNA have such a damn talented roster, yet a lot of matches are just given five minutes. Just let the talent have some time to develop a good in ring story, and viewers WILL stay interested.
These Abyss promos seem to indicate to me that he will still be called Abyss. I don't think he will have the mask, as his face is always shrowded in darkness throughout the promos. I just hope they don't give him a lame face gimmick. I'm hoping for mad man on a rampage.
As far as the actual promo videos go, I'm not quite sure what TNA is thinking here. Now Abyss says they let him have the camera due to good behaviour. So he is obviosuly filming himself. Why then are then screams of other people and black flashes throughout the promo? How did Abyss get these noises? Were they already on the camera? Oh well, I guess I'm not meant to notice this. Whatever.
Two things I see happening/continuing to happen in the future, and one of them definitely scares me.
1) The continued push of the Porn Stars. They have been booked very strongly as of late, especially Angelina Love. I'm OK with that, they aren't terrible in the ring. But what I can't quite work out is where will it lead to? Just a blow off match against Roxxi and eventually Gail Kim? Or the Knockout's Title finally? It is probably the first of the two, and TNA is just doing this for the short term. But I would ratgher see a long term push myself. Someone needs a push.
2) Kevin Nash/Samoa Joe storyline. This one scares me. Why? Because I see the end result being Joe vs Nash for the TNA Championship at Bound For Glory. I am praying to God it won't happen, and maybe it will happen at a Pay Per View before then. I just don't want to see TNA wasting a big match on Nash. It feels like 2005 all over again (which felt like 1995 all over again).
Slammiversary looks decent this year, and I think it is an event worth getting. My predictions ofr it are:
I see Kaz winning this one, in what should be a good match. Quite disappointing there has been no build due to the injury of Petey.
Kurt will probably win this after interference from Tomko. AJ has been booked weakly as a face so far, and I have no reason to belive that will stop any time soon.
LAX's title reign is just beginning, so it seems to me that Team 3D is doing the job here, to help LAX's reign get off to the start they want it to.
Sonjay goes nuts, but who really cares? Back to something that matters.
Well Nash is either going to screw Joe out of the title, or win it for him, and I don't see anyone else in this match being able to win, so I'm going Joe for the win. Booker doesn't seem ready for the title, neither does Roode, and Cage and Rhino have something going on that will eventually lead to (another) feud.
Thanks for reading, and comments would be nice

ABYSS

FUTURE

Slammiversary
Slammiversary looks decent this year, and I think it is an event worth getting. My predictions ofr it are:
X Division Championship: Petey Williams (c) vs Kaz
I see Kaz winning this one, in what should be a good match. Quite disappointing there has been no build due to the injury of Petey.
AJ Styles vs Kurt Angle
Kurt will probably win this after interference from Tomko. AJ has been booked weakly as a face so far, and I have no reason to belive that will stop any time soon.
TNA Tag Team Championships: LAX (c) vs Team 3D
LAX's title reign is just beginning, so it seems to me that Team 3D is doing the job here, to help LAX's reign get off to the start they want it to.
Jay Lethal and So Cal Val's Wedding
Sonjay goes nuts, but who really cares? Back to something that matters.
KOTM for the TNA Championship: Samoa Joe vs Robert Roode vs Booker T vs Christian Cage vs Rhino (special enforcer Kevin Nash)
