The unannounced AAA game is the next Alan Wake for sure.

Hope it releases simultaneously for PC this time like Max Payne 3 did instead of two years later, have no interest in the next generation of consoles.

I bet it still gets released on PS3 and 360. It's going to be at least 3-4 years before everyone jumps on the next gen train just like the last two generations so for a game with such a niche crowd they'll have to release it on the older consoles.

The PS3 should still be around for a while given that 2012 was it's most mainstream year and games are still coming out for it this year.

I'd like to get one just for the exclusives and Blu-Ray functionality. Hope the price drops by a bit this Christmas. That and the Vita are on my to buy list after upgrading my PC.

I don't see why Alan Wake 2 cannot be done on the present generation consoles. While a Triple-A high budget Alan Wake would be ideal as a launch title for the next generation of consoles, given that the PS3 is still pretty worthy when it comes to running new games, I guess they could make it on that. Don't see it on the X360 for some reason, Microsoft have a reputation for bailing on their consoles once a new one is released. While they say that the X360 will have a ten year lifespan just like the PS3, I don't think they'll give it the support that Sony do.
