Green Light will be an in-depth re-imaging of the Rainbow Six Series, that will take place in the present day era. With a feel of the books and the games, the project will act as if what you are reading a television with actors cast to play various roles and an element of realism with tweaks that can only exist in a fictional universe. This is something that I have been working on for quite a long time now, and you will be the first people to ever read it.
The Main Cast for the pilot episode of Rainbow Six: Green Light was confirmed today during a live stream on YouTube ahead of the series making it debut on Amazon Prime Video.
Commander (portrayed by Charles Dance)
Dance brings immediate gravitas and a commanding presence perfectly suited for a shadow-ops leader who oversees elite multinational counter-terror units. He should be seen as having strategic brilliance, cold authority and ruthless clarity. He won't always appear on screen, but rather take on the role of the man on the other side of the radio especially when the Rainbow Six Teams are on operation. There is no confirmation that this time what the character's name is or if it is based on previous Rainbow Six Characters.

Yasmin "Ghost" Rahman (portrayed by Anya Chalotra)
Chalotra excels at conveying emotion through silence and physical control, matching Ghost’s calm, surgical infiltration style. There has been no guarantee on if any operators will be the main characters or have protection from being killed on screen, however there is a view that Chalotra is tied in for a long-term contract.

Alexei "Frost" Morozov (portrayed by Yuri Koloholnikov)
Kolokolnikov’s height, stone-faced calm, and understated emotional range make him a near-perfect Frost intimidating but precise. There is seen as desire of authenticity of having a Russian playing a FSB Sharpshooter in an alternative universe where perhaps more positive Russian role models can exist for Western audiences without being played by a foreigner and created an overblown international scandal.

Daniel “Bishop” Cole (portrayed by Wyatt Russell)
Russell has a rugged authenticity and approachable “team dad” presence ideal for Bishop’s friendly but elite SEAL persona. There is almost a subtle demand that a member of the main cast be an American.

Erin “Patch” O’Neill (portrayed by Sarah Bolger)
Bolger brings warmth, emotional intelligence, and a resilient edge, perfectly balancing Patch’s combat-hardened empathy. Test groups have responded well to the female Irish accent when laced with dark humour on a stage surrounded by death and suffering.
