Ron Killings is actually a fairly poor wrestler, as is evident by him never being very over during his entire TNA run (even when he was NWA Champion). His over-the-top gimmick is what's allowed him to become so over, and, in my opinion, it's a great change of pace from the normal "GR! I'M A BADASS!" gimmick that everybody and their mother gets.

He must be loving his life knowing he's far more over and known than ever before in his life. Certainly his previous shitty WWE run. I think people are too harsh on his wrestling skills with all the flips, but his whole entrance and catchphrases seem like they will get VERY fucking old soon unless he adds something else to his character. And I agree on his finisher being fucking lame. Hey, the black guy before him had the same finisher, let's give it to him!

What else would he have as his finisher that flying spinning forearm? He is not tito Santana you know :).

His finisher is Booker T's AXE KIK! As you saw on friday, when he used it to beat Chris fucking Jericho.

^I'm tempted to delete that post and continue pretending it didn't happen.

WWE needs to seriously pick a finisher and stick to it for their superstars. Late last year they did give him the Lie Detector though, they must have switched back to the Scissors Kick. I did not see all of SD last Friday night it was getting painful to watch.

I do not like r truth or his wasssup! It gets on my nerves so much i wanna smack him. He is over though with the wwe universe and i think a mid card title for him is cool. Notice he does not come through the crowds anymore?

I am glad he doesn't. He would always be so out of breath trying to rap and walk through the audience. It was rather annoying. He needs a new rap honestly. He had a some good raps in TNA.

Get ROWDY! lol

I was impressed last night on Superstars. He cut a gold promo with Jericho (Who makes anyone look good but still) the fans are behind him and he's entertaining. He has the in ring work in him from what I've seen in TNA so maybe he will evolve more in the ring as he continues this push

R-Truth has the "it" factor, but he is saddled with a damn stereotypical gimmick. Fuck that, let him lead an All Black faction that spreads across all brands including MVP, Shelton, Henry, or turn 'em all heel and add Ezekiel Jackson. That would be pretty sweet.

What does everyone think of R-Truth. I don't know if it's just me, but the guy seems to get huge pops all the time. Like last week he was more over than Morrison. IMO, he gets more of a reaction than Koffi Kingston too. R-Truth really hasn't had much of a push on SD either to be getting that type of reaction. Maybe i'm over rated it a little, but what do you think. Should the WWE invest more time/effort into R-Truth?

I thought his mini fued with punk was good, but it shoudl have kept going.

I noticed that as well. How the fuck did this guy get more of a pop than Morrison? Unless someone did some awesome editing, this guy isn't worthy enough of a pop that big.

I don't like him whatsoever. He's boring and doesn't really wrestle in any way that impresses me or stands out at all.

FULLY agreed with your comment on the lack of a push. Funny how some people who do get a push don't get a huge reaction but someone like R-Truth does.

Fail crowd is fail.

He may have been a god in TNA for all I know (although no-one has ever been prepared to recommend me a match to watch from those days to substantiate the gulf in 'quality'), but as far as WWE goes...

His matches are horrible, the gimmick (as thin as it is - We're hardly talking Taker-like here) is crap and don't get me started on the shite rapping.

In terms of overness, IMO he's simply benefitting from the crowd's desire to feel a little more involved in the product (re: "Whassup?". Also see "Suck it" and tonnes of the guys back in Attitude days)... Dunno exactly how the pecking order of who get's to do what works, but all I can say is if it's down to him then fair play, he's smart. If not why the fuck are they only giving him (of all people) the option to play the crowd like that...?

There is a lot of Truth hate on here and I don't get why. His wrestling skills aren't Mark Henry mediocre and isn't Jeff Hardy spot monkey but he isnt excellent. He is over as hell and entertaining which is two out the three factors that makes Vince cum in his pants. I have no problem with him tbh

Henry, Truth and Hardy are all far better WWE wrestlers (or performers, I suppose) than most of the guys on the roster. To call any of them mediocre is asinine.

R-Truth sums up what's wrong with the IWC in general perfectly. We don't like his style of wrestling, so he shouldn't be pushed, regardless of how he gets the crowd involved and his overness. Guy's doing fine right now, and WWE should continue using him as they currently are.
