Anybody else really like this guy? To me, he can be a legitamite main eventer on SD, and be a top face. For me, the second he debuted I liked hi. He's got an awesome look, and he can get some good fanfare. Little kids can like him cause they see him as innocent, and a guy who changed his ways, and an older crowd will like him, cause everyone likes a guy with a gimmick
But I think he's got a good name and gimmick, a good look, and he seems to get more fans each week.
Not to mention, he is very good in the ring, and cancut a convincing promo.

What do you think he will achieve in wwe? Do you think he can be a real main eventer, based on his first few weeks?

I think he really can.

He's as almost over as Kingston and Punk were in ECW and he's had 2 matches on Smackdown. Not only that, but Truth has the style of wrestling that WWE seem to love right now, lots of flashy moves and he doesn't wrestle like any other guy on the roster.

Like you said, he can cut a convincing promo and he can play his gimmick very well. I can easily see his first major feud being with MVP, both are 'from the streets' but MVP has supposedly become some big rich player while Truth is still close to his roots.

I really like R-Truth, and I reckon he will be the next United States Champion after Shelton Benjamin. Could he be a Main event player? Had he come a month or so earlier, he would've easily taken THE's place in the Scramble

^Ya, and speaking of the feud with MVP, pssibly, I thought of a good storyline for it. Seeing as MVP is going more "thuggish" lately, he could try to persuade RTruth to join him, and do what he does, and when RTruth refuses, they could have an awesome feud...

But back on topic, yeah, I really think he has what it takes, as I said in the first post.

No, I don't think he'll be main-eventer. R-Truth will be like Kofi probley somewhere in the upper-midcard maybe. But definetly a US title shot [hopefully] I might be the only one, but I'd love to see a Truth/Kendrick fued.

I think Truth has a good name and gimmick and he will go far on Smackdown. He will probably immediately go to the upper mid card and win the US title somewhere down the line. He has the talent to be a min eventer and he is already pretty over. Hopefully the WWE dont do a Kofi and push him in our face which would make him less over.

Well i think WWE will give Ron 'R Truth' Killings a proper go at being a wrestler this time round. His first chance was with Road Dogg about 9 years ago when he split with Billy Gunn but didn't really get over properly. Now he is on his own, he has a decent gimmick and can even rap. Give him a month then set him up in a decent feud with someone say either Shelton Benjamin or MVP to really put him over. I love his spinning elbow its cool.

I think he should have stayed in TNA IMO. Now in WWE, if the whole "what's up" thing catches on with a bigger crowd and he does not get drowned by creative before getting a chance, then he may last. Otherwise, he will be mid card at most if that much.

Yes. He has lots of potential and I think that TNA completely dropped the ball on him, I just hope WWE doesn't do that too. I didn't see Smackdown! yet (because of MLB Baseball it airs tonight) so I'm not sure how his second match went, but I'm sure they are going to build him up as a solid babyface and when the time is right he'll get a US title run and he'll start getting that push to the main event

R-Truth came to SD on prolly one of the best times. He has proven ground as a main eventer and a guy who can cut promos good. All the fans like him and he gets more each night with his moveset. R-Truth couldn't come at a better time. There are so many chances to become a top main eventer in an instant.

R-Truth wins the US title and in a few more months after a very very great us title run. He wins the Big WWE strap.

As for the WWE title, I don't think the WWE or HHH being on that show and certain show writers as well on that show will ever allow R-Truth to get to that level and if so I would be totally surprised.

Think about that...who from TNA, even those of the former WWE/F that have even returned has got to that level. I was not sure if CMPunk was in TNA or not in the past, but if he was, he is an exception to chance and that chance fell through based on some circumstances that just simply worked in his favor.

Well i see what your saying, but HHH will lose that title. If HHH always retained we wil have a repeat of John Cena's past title reign. Fans will get bored and boo. Humans have a short attention span you know. Now who does that leave? Khali, no. Jeff Hardy, next year probally. A person who's been to the top in a different company and can be a main event, R-Truth, best choice in my mind. But first Truth will have to win the US title first.

Truth is the truth on SD! right now. He's giving life to the midcard division again, which has been faultering, and if he stays healthy and aslong as they book him right then he'll be holding gold soon.

Future feuds for Truth, Benjamin, MVP or Kendrick. If Truth and Kendrick face off, I see Truth being the first person to get Kendrick's number. That'd be a big push (IMO) if he beats Kendrick, whose been on a run for most of August.

My 1st time watching on Smackdown and he said Whats up! to the crowd. He got a loud response of WHATS UP! from the crowd.

He's already over with the crowd, just like how Kofi and Evan were.

What's HHH got to do with anything.... Oh wait, don't tell me.... He's racist now too is he? --->>>>

I have thought about it and I can't think of anyone WWE title worthy that has come to WWE via TNA whether they've been held down or not...

The only person that springs to mind if Jeff Hardy and:

a) He's WWE-made
b) He went to TNA, came BACK, is a repeat suspendee yet they still seem driven to cown him world champ at some point.

Maybe you could "think about it" and provide an example or two?

As fror R-Truth... He looks gret in the ring, great build, decent amount of charisma, but I think I do think WWE are overestimating the SD crowd in expecting him to already have a decent amount of recognition and get over THIS quickly...

After a couple more squashes, they need to put him in a decent competetive match asap and see if peeps actually give a shit about him(*)... If so I say get him in amongst Jeff/MVP/Shelton/BK asap.

(*Shame Umaga's out right now cos he'd be ideal. Koslov's no good cos it would seem their saving him for something or another.)
