Windows Vista Home Premium, 32-bit.

Mac OS X Leopard.

- What forms of Instant Messaging/ Voice and Video messaging do you use? (MSN, Yahoo, AIM, Skype etc.)
MSN and sometimes Skype if I need it.

- Which Anti-virus do you use?
F-Secure.

- What browser do you use? (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox etc.)
For everyday use, Firefox. I do a lot of cross-browser testing when I make new websites so I got Firefox, Opera, Safari and IE.

- Do you use any torrent programs, if so then which ones?
I prefer Azureus/Vuze.

- Do you use any download managers, if so then which ones?
Nope.

- Which video-streaming site do you prefer? (YouTube, Dailymotion, Megavideo, AOL etc.)
YouTube. Don't use these sites a lot so.

- Which text-editor do you use more often, MS-Word, Notepad or Wordpad? If you use any other text-editor then which one?
I use ConText. It fits my use perfectly as I write a lot of different web code.

- Which player do you use for your music and for your videos?
iTunes for my music, VLC or Quicktime for my videos.

Limewire is the only kinda thing like that i use

Youtube i use a lot dailymotion is ok. And Sapo is ok sometimes as a last resort

Ms word but i hardly use it

I use winamp pro Ver 5.55, its a good music player, sometimes i tunes, rarely WMP

Im getting bored of all i said last week ok. Those programs i listed, i want new ones kinda like the ones i said but different to what i have now. I got a new laptop now so i want new programs and would like advice on new programs for my laptop. If anyone can help rep will be added.

While I'm fearful of the admin reprimand for bumping an old thread, I thought I'd give you some advice:

First off, XP is better than Vista at the moment.

For Torrent programmes you want UTorrent and you don't want to use a P2P downloading programme, mainly because of the Spyware involved and the chances of getting a virus.

Other than that there's not much else you need to get. Word is standard and Winamp is decent though I personally prefer iTunes with Last FM attached.

What does that do then? Is there a program similar to winamp? I like high quality sounds you see and winamp is good. Plus can i get a hd driver anywhere for sound? last time in installed it i could not pick it as my sound driver i couldn't find it. Only on remove programs i could
