Goalkeeper denied an obvious opportunity for goal #1, shouldn't that be a red?

Not seen the goal myself but I thought there was something in the rule about it not being a red if there's an attempt at playing the ball.

We needed that after being absolutely shit since the Euros, hopefully it means all of the bad performances are out of the way in the games that didn’t matter. Iran aren’t a bad team by any stretch and they did show that they’ve got something about them by taking the chances they did get, but to score 6 against any team in a World Cup is big (yes, even Panama).

Glad to see players like Saka and Bellingham continuing their club form as well, perhaps one of the only upsides of doing the World Cup now as opposed to the end of the season. Very encouraging start for us and if that’s how we’re going to play against Wales and the US, I can’t see us doing anything other than topping the group with 9 points.

It’s coming home.

Would like to see a shock pulled off and if any of the teams so far will pull it off it'll be Senegal

U-S-A!!!

Let's go USA!

I watched England smash Iran this morning 6-2. That was wild.
