It is possible, but the vast majority of these people are just regular executives. They can move on to Coca-Cola, Macy's, Subway, the NFL, or any other company in any field.

I doubt anyone that gets laid off today will have problems finding work anywhere. Doesn’t even have to be in the business. One of the perks of having an extensive corporate portfolio. You can get a job damn near anywhere
