Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's World's Finest
Saturday, March 17, 2012 - 8:00PM Bell Time - Reseda, CA
American Legion Post #308 - 7338 Canby Ave., Reseda, CA 91335

Four-Way Tag Team Madness
Appetite for Destruction ("Mr. Wrestling" Kevin Steen & Super Dragon) vs. RockNES Monsters (Johnny Goodtime & Johnny Yuma) vs.
The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson - Champions) vs. Super Smash Bros. (Player Uno & Stupefied)

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Championship Title Match
El Generico (Champion) vs. Eddie Edwards (Challenger)

Singles Match
Alex Koslov vs. Kyle O'Reilly

Singles Match
Willie Mack vs. Roderick Strong

Singles Match
Scorpio Sky vs. TJ Perkins

Singles Match
Candice LeRae vs. Joey Ryan

Aside from the 2 main events I feel like I've seen so much of this already... it's nice to not see a 8 person tag on here this time and just see Candice vs Joey. I do find it funny that while in ROH Davey & O'Reilly are team mates while here they're facing each other. Lol, The top 2 matches look amazing though!

Looks like a pretty good B show. I imagine O'Reilly vs Richards will be similar to the ROH storylines where it's just about having a good fight with Richards praising the hell out of O'Reilly after the match.

With only six matches, I'm expecting at least one locals match. Personally, I'm hoping for Chris Kadillak and Famous B vs Ray Rosas and Peter Avalon just to get more of a taste of what these new guys can do.

Scorpio vs Perkins may just be an undercard match, but it has my interest for the sole fact that it's somehow their first singles match in PWG. It's pretty crazy to think since both guys were there since the first year and lasted there for years.

Eddie Edwards challenging for the belt is probably the most logic PWG has used in selecting challengers in years. They had a good match at ASW 8, so I expect this to be good again.

You can never go wrong with Candice LaRae vs Joey Ryan in any sort of match.

Assuming Roderick Strong feels like trying, his rematch with Willie Mack should be leagues better than their CSTC3 match. I expect Willie to go over this time.

The main event is a nice little rub for RockNES Monsters and Super Smash Bros. If PWG wanted to get serious about adding some storylines to their tag division, a RockNES title win would be a huge deal. You'd already have a few matches lined up for them based on past events:

- Kevin Steen and Super Dragon - Former champs
- The Young Bucks - Beating RockNES a couple of times in title defenses in 2011
- The Dynasty - Winning the title shot over RockNES last year

Hasn't Pretty Petey been around long enough for you to get a taste of what he can do? Lol, but I would be down for that extra tag, Famous B & Kadillak are both amazing talents and Rosas & Avalon both have a good sense of humor in their wrestling.

RockNES win would be great! If they ever plan on putting the belts on them right now is a great time. It's kind of hard to imagine them beating Steen & Dragon in a normal tag so with 2 other teams involved it works, and with this being such a huge match it would be a big moment for RockNES.

I wasn't referring to Avalon. He's been around for a little over a year now. However, since he is partners with Ray Rosas, it makes sense to include him in a little more exposure for the Brandon Bonhams.

I wouldn't be totally against Eddie taking home the gold, if only I felt like his title run has been long enough. I feel like PWG has to give El Generico another show or two, but once again, Eddie could do some good for PWG as champ, and maybe even have Davey take it off of him to extend upon their long-running ROH feud, If ROH ever felt like being generous, they could do some cross-promotional stuff with PWG, and get them some exposure that way too. Although, speaking of which, I wish Steen would have held the title a little longer...

Steen + Dragon is some real shit. On paper, I could hardly think of a more legit PWG tag team, but with that being said, I fully expect their team to dissolve and turn on each other within the year, probably within the next 6 months. I don't know what Super Dragon's long-term plans are, but if he hangs it up for good some time soon, I think he might like to go out against Steen. This is a nice way to get RockNES and SSB talked about a little bit more, again. I'd love to see Goodtime and Yuma hold the straps, but I can't see them taking them off of AFD. Maybe they could drop them to The Young Bucks and then I could see RockNES realistically taking them off of The Bucks.

Furthermore, I like the looks of Ryan vs. LaRae and Richards vs. O'Reilly. I hope Strong shows up for a fight and doesn't half-ass his rematch against Mack right here.

Richards' is going to be in Japan. So his match against O'Reilly is off with Alex Koslov taking Davey's spot.

I see Edwards in having little to no real chance of winning the belt. He's just a major indy name that has been built up for these random title shots like Roddy Strong in the past. I see El Generico holding on to the belt for awhile.

I'm don't think that they give the belt to Eddie, I don't think he's the right man to hold the company. Generico works, I hope that he keeps the belt until they can find a fitting successor.
