It seems there's no room for it to breathe. Things felt like they might have gotten rolling when the Young Bucks lost the belts but then they got them back, and for what reason? They got everything they could out of their first reign setting the record for longest champs and everything. Now they've finally lost the belts once again! But to who? Two former PWG world champions (Kevin Steen & Super Dragon). What purpose does it serve for them to hold the championships? I'll admit that I kind of like two top dogs giving the belts some prestige, but it's unneeded, it doesn't really help Dragon or Steen.

Either way, the tag division has some up and comers that have yet to get the championships, such as the obvious RockNES Monsters, and the struggling Taylor's.

What do you think about the state of PWG's tag division? They are focused on tag team wresting, that's obvious, but something just doesn't feel right about it... Did Steen & Dragon just get the belts to "hurt" the Bucks (emotionally), do they need them? Is it good that they're a team right now?

The Bucks won the belts for the second time to give the bookers some time to decide what they want to do since Paul London abandoned ship before they could figure out who Danger Bees should lose the belts to. If nothing else, The Bucks offer stability. Since the whole Steen/Bucks feud began, the end result had to be Steen winning the tag titles with a partner. Now granted, maybe PWG should have waited for Akira Tozawa to return, but Super Dragon was a huge way to create some buzz.

I think it's important to remember that the tag titles are more important to PWG than other companies tag titles. Especially during the Young Bucks' first title reign, there were times when the tag titles were more important than the World. So it makes sense to put their two biggest stars as the tag champions.

Also, PWG in a 2011 world isn't a traditional company. You're not going to see a million different angles and programs. Instead, it's an indy supershow type company. So it's less about having logical title reigns and more about having the biggest tag matches possible. With PWG being this weird place where you never know how long someone will stay there or who will be coming in next, it's a bit foolish to rely on certain guys for pushes. It goes back to giving Steen/Dragon the belts since they're at least the biggest stars.

I guess that makes sense, but why not put the belts on someone that isn't already big and make them bigger and more important? Just when will RockNES get the belts?! Lol

You mean IF RockNES gets the belts. I hope it doesn't happen, but they could easily end up like the Cutlers.

At this point that's definitely a possibility. I miss The Cutlers, they were pretty solid.
