Pro-Wrestling Gurreilla has been long considered one of the best wrestling promotions on the planet for the pure athletic ability the wrestlers display inside the ring, it has become sort of a proving ground for wrestlers to come show their biggest guns for all the world's biggest fans and companies to see. However, whilst this creates fantastic matches it also inflicts a dangerous virus onto PWG, a virus that you might call "The ECW Sickness". Showcasing these world travelled stars and giving them chances to put on the best matches of their career causes the scouts of the biggest wrestling promotions in the world to come knocking and by the end of the year PWG's roster has usually lost 5 or 6 notable names to WWE, NJPW or even ROH. So What happens when PWG still showcases this amazing talent but focuses more so on local, homegrown talent that they could possibly hold onto? Well, let's find out...

In a Comedy Match, Super Best Friends defeated Just Men in 7:23 when Toru Yano defeated Andrew Everett with a low blow followed by a roll up. This match got the show off to a hot start. Match Rating: D+

Adam Cole vs Drew Galloway

In a match with fantastic heat and good wrestling, Adam Cole defeated Drew Galloway in 8:39 with Florida Key. Drew Galloway was off his game. Post Match, Adam Cole gets on the mic and calls out Kyle O'Reilly.

"The Aerial Assassin" Will Ospreay vs "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes

In a great match. Cody Rhodes defeated Will Ospreay in 14:05 with Cross Rhodes. Will Ospreay was off his game. Cody Rhodes looked like a real star. This match got the crowd buzzing! Post Match, Rhodes walks over to Ospreay and shakes his hand but quickly transitions into a second Cross Rhodes.

Chris Hero vs Ricochet vs Sami Callihan

In a bout with fantastic wrestling and decent heat. Chris Hero defeated Ricochet and Sami Callihan in 16:08 when Chris Hero pinned Callihan after a rolling elbow. Sami Callihan was the weak link, struggling to keep up with the other two's performances.

Marty Scurll vs Candice LeRae

In a purposefully overbooked match. Marty Scurll defeated Candice LeRae in 9:04 by submission. The match included interference from Adam Cole, Cody Rhodes & The Young Bucks attacking LeRae and Ricochet and Will Ospreay attacking Scurll. This match cooled the crowd down a little in time for the two main events.

PWG World Tag Team Championship Match
The Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson) (c) vs Mach 2 (Jeff Cobb & Brian Cage)

In a bout with fantastic heat and decent wrestling. The Young Bucks defeated Mach 2 when Matt pinned Brian Cage following a superkick party of 10 superkicks! The Young Bucks carried this match in terms of in ring performance. The Young Bucks make defence number 8 of their World Tag Team Championships.

PWG World Heavyweight Championship Match
Zack Sabre Jr (c) vs Matt Riddle

In a bout with great wrestling and great heat from the crowd. Zack Sabre Jr defeated Matt Riddle in 19:01 with a Cross Armbreaker. This match got the crowd buzzing. Zack Sabre Jr makes defence number 4 of his World Heavyweight Championship. Post Match, Chris Hero emerges from the back and lays both men out with rolling elbows.

• An impressive first show, we actually drew with ROH's show this month in terms of reviews and that's huge for us considering how much more coverage and talent they have.

• Callihan was dissapointing, very dissapointing. Was hoping to give him a push in the near future but he's still got a ways to go before he's anything.

• Thought it'd be nice to give Hero one last PWG Main Event, lad is getting on in age and could sign an exclusive contract with NXT/WWE anytime now, he's working Per Appearance in NXT atm. Hope they don't fire him for his weight again.

• Candice LeRae, Chris Hero, Marty Scurll, Ricochet, Cody Rhodes, Drew Galloway, Zack Sabre Jr, Matt Riddle, The Young Bucks and Adam Cole all put in great performances, pat on the back especially for Hero and Ricochet whom especially shone. Ricochet was the overall best performer.

• Ospreay's working Japan next month so he ain't working the next show.
