wifey's contribution - she says sorry for being late

I added this to the playlist and listened but forgot to make any comment. I haven't dug into the crates with Puscifer although I'm a big fan of A Perfect Circle and Tool. This was a good one, not top tier for me among the songs of theirs that I have heard but I'll come back to it.

(12) Pretty decent hit by The Stone Roses from start to finish. Good to see them change up the song around the 3:48 mark. The sudden stop at 5:18 and starting it back up at 5:25 completely threw me off-guard lol
(13) Extremely short song by Enfold Darkness, yet a heart-pounding song to pump... *clap* you up!
(14) I'm okay with speed metal with loud screams in this song by Enfold Darkness. I think it's okay overall.
(15) This track was pretty entertaining despite it being short. Good experimental hip-hop song. I approve!
(16) Very chill and relaxing song by The Hello Sequence. It was worth it. :)

(17) This song made me happy TBH. Great suggestion, though so disappointed that it's not on Pandora.
(18) Brilliant post-disco song by The Brothers Johnson. Though I'm not fond with the genre, but the song has won me over.
(19) Pretty cool song especially when the backup vocals kick at the 2:48 mark with Keenan's voice and the build up at 3:32. Not disappointed at all.
(20) I'm not too much a fan of today's hip-hop. Mooski's song falls short for me.
(21) Amazing song by the great Louis Armstrong. Props to whoever chose it. :D

I really fucked with the HIM. As well as Masta Ace and Tricky. I believe they were all the same member. Good picks in my book :WOW

Zealots of Stockholm knocked my dick in the dirt when it first dropped. In fact it's just one of the Because The Internet songs that knocked my dick in the dirt.

Now Life On Mars? :banderas:

PUT ME ON - 3/27/2023 (Last Week’s)

#1 Was a bit of an alternative sound - but I thought it was a decent vibe. Elements of a one hit wonder.
#2 Just didn’t enjoy it. Didn't connect to me at all.
#3 Chilled and relaxing. Love this tune tbh
#4 This was fun in a comical way - but I quite enjoyed the actual beat and the piano work. Would listen again.
#5 Not my favourite thing from Ozzy - not the worst. But he has set a high standard for himself with Black Sabbath.
#6 Wasn’t my cup of tea.
#7 This was awesome - the beat and tune were particularly masterful. Dancing in the kitchen worthy.
#8 I could grow into this - I feel as if this it might be part of an album journey, rather than just a one off song though.
#9 The Depeche Mode version is just far superior. Was hard to enjoy it on that basis alone.
#10 Wasn’t the worst thing in the world - just a little bit too floaty for me.
#11 This was not me.
#12 Recognize this as The Stones Roses off the bat. I think they are massively underrated as a band for what they bring to the table
#13 Did not like the vocals at all - had to press skip for the first time or rather I would have if I’d have had time to reach it
#14 Just can’t deal with the vocals at all.
#15 Elements with potential mixed with elements that I didn’t enjoy. A bit of a confusing one.
#16 Prefer the original too.
#17 This absolutely banged. Really enjoyed it! Punky but at the perfect level for me.
#18 Keeping it funky baby! Such a classic tune! Acid test for coolness.
#19 This song really connected with me today. Will be checking this band out more again.
#20 Was enjoyable enough - but not really my jam
#21 A fucking classic! Absolute vocal king. And nostalgic of coming from my favourite Bond film.

Put Me On - 4/4/2023 - Listen Session One

#1 A very chilled tranquil track - was a good way to start the list. Enjoy the passion that came out towards the end of the song too. Had lowkey some Coldplay elements at times - but maybe I’m alone in that observation.
#2 The music was making my BOSE speaking boom - I love when that back bass starts popping out the speakers. Vocally it was enjoyable too. Had a hard 90s feel to it.
#3 Never even heard of HIM. But this song spoke to me - like I had drawn the curtain for the very first time and been radiated by the sun itself. Will be checking out more of this band.
#4 Like this song a lot too. Had a very alt-indie feel to it. But I digs it. I digs it a lot.
#5 This started one way and went another way. And the shift went from being okay - to an unexpectedly really enjoyable song. Really enjoyed the listen. And another band I will be looking at more.
#6 Aphex Twin is just a true legend in the game - and Didgeridoo is such an absolute banger that I think catches people off guard with how clever it is.
#7 Not heard Tricky for far too long. This song is such a fucking tune to me and actually feels me with such happiness to hear it again. Although I don’t try to guess who picked what songs - I feel this has to be a Booty selection.
#8 Not the biggest MGMT fans - but I didn’t actually hate this song at all. And seemed to flow very well. Even what you don’t love - doesn’t have to be what you hate.
#9 Didn’t hate this. Didn’t love it. A decent enough filler song that, and offered a bit of a different feel to what is proven to be a very good overall playlist.

So far this is one of the better playlist in quite a while - looking forward to session two.
