I have a feeling that Punk won't be taking time off (unless he receives a more substantial injury that forces him to) prior to Wrestlemania. I'm pretty sure WWE wants him around for WMXXX.

Now, AJ losing the title by Mania and taking time off with Punk after the big show....hey, who knows?

WWE can go ahead and test me. Build the Rumble and WM around punk and see if my black ass tunes in

You would.

yeah.. this is no shock. He is going to end up retiring soon if he don't take time off.

Even if he gets healthy he'll retire within the next couple years.

He shouldn't do matches often. Wrestlemania is coming up and the last thing they need is for him to miss it.

Sadly (at least from my perspective of being a raging Punk mark), I fear Brit and Irwin are right. I actually worry that he's going to end up hurting himself seriously and ending his career on terms other than his own. I love watching the guy perform as he is, to me, one of the best I've ever seen (and I've been watching wrestling for a very long time), but I would much rather he walk away from it than be wheeled away from it.

Jeremy, if he does retire in the next couple of years, I just hope it's because it's what he wants and not what he has to do. And I will honestly just be grateful that I got to see him wrestle.

Hey its a tough business. If you want to be the man, suck it up and work injured. Undertaker's worked through much worse conditions. Look up the injuries he had when he did the HIAC with Foley. He was climbing that fucking cell with a broken foot among other things.

This reminds me of a coach I used to work with who was approached by a quarterback who had a shoulder strain and replied, "I was a quareterback and played four games with a separated throwing shoulder. Now get your wimp-ass back in the game!"
