Started watching Chapter 22 last night, Got up to Ciampa vs Haskins.

First match was alright, considering what it was used for. Mastiff is a beast, thats all that can be said of him.

Second Match was good, I thought it would be since I had seen Bate before on some ATTACK DVDs but him and Pastor Ever put on a good match. I hope Eaver wins the Natural Progression this year.

Oh, the fucking Geezers vs Windsor and Rampage...EMUS, SLIP N SLIDES, GZRS, SHITTY ATTIRE, THIS MATCH HAD IT ALL.

Decided to start watching Progress regularly. I've seen single matches, and they seem to put on a great show.

Chapter 22 was awesome. Really fun show with good matches. The main event was killer. Geeze was awesome, obviously.

8/10.

So, those 2 Pre-show matches, anyone gonna hazard a guess as to what they're filming it for?

Exclusive show on POD? Something for WrestleTalk or Brit Wres Roundup (if it gets away from just using NGW matches)?

Not sure how I feel about Ciampa being on the show, when at 22, he was given a 'farewell' because he was supposedly signed by the WWE. But I guess they can make something out of it.

Also, hope Mandrews gets the win, tbh. Their match at BOLA Night 1 was awesome, and in their home turf I can only expect something even greater.

He's booked on Chapter 24 as well, the whole WWE thing is being used as an angle. I wouldn't doubt it if the WWE used his match to scout Scurll, though.

I don't see Ospreay losing either, not only is it too early, but the whole point of the match is that Ospreay has never beaten Mandrews in a PROGRESS ring. It's only fitting for Will to win.

Also, PROGRESS on Demand can be viewed on the current gen consoles now. That's a real game changer. I can't wait to watch Chapter 23 on the big screen.

I don't think it's early, Will is on the lengthier side of Progress Champions, when considering Mandrews only held it for one-night. Also, I think working in the fact that Mandrews has never had an appropriate title run and Ospreay's inability to beat Mandrews could lead to a really great angle.

Triple threat tag title match added to Chapter 23: SDS vs The Origin vs London Riots. Shit is going to rough again.

I really want Ospreay to have a lengthy run as champ, sure, having Mark Andrew as a viable threat to take the title away is great, but that'll make a successful defence even better.

Couldn't be happier getting to see Ciampa again, either.

Swert Jesus! (“Pastor” William Eaver) def. The Dazzler Team (Darrell Allen & Earl Black Jr)

Chapter 23…

Show begins with a minutes applause to Leon Webster, a PROGRESS fan who recently passed away
Rampage Brown def. Big Daddy Walter

During the match, Walter whipped Brown into the corner and the top and middle ropes both snapped, however the match continued.
After a brief pause to repair the ring we move on…

Natural PROGRESSion Series Three-Way Quarter Final
Damon Moser def. Jack Sexsmith & Shen Woo

Sexsmith came the ring complete with fully dressed gimp and rubber cock in his trunks. Sexsmith had his trunks pulled down exposing his ass and gave Woo a stinkface, he went to give one to Moser but got the rubber cock put up his butt.

Mark Haskins def. Paul Robinson by submission

Marty Scurll def. Tommaso Ciampa by submission

Whilst Ciampa made his entrance Scurll attacked him with his umbrella and applied the Chicken Wing. Scurll went for a Guerrero fake out spot but Ciampa used the umbrella when the ref was knocked down, Ciampa dismantled the corner of the ring, Scurll was hung up in the corner but Scurll spat something Ciampa’s eyes allowing him the wrap a rope around Ciampa’s neck and apply the chicken wing for the win.

Second half begins with the announcement that Chapter 25 will be entitled… “Chat Shit Get BANGED!”

PROGRESS Tag Team Championship Three-Way match
The Origin (Nathan Cruz & El Ligero) def. Champion, The Sumerian Death Squad (Tommy End & Michael Dante) & The London Riots (James Davis & Rob Lynch) *New Champions*

Action started of as a regular tag match, tags in and out until End got a mic and asked “has everyone had come for this boring bullshit”, crowd with a loud “NO” and then it broke down and the action went everywhere. Ligero went to hit Davjs with the bat, Davis took it from him and Ligero lured Davis in to the ring, Davis went to hit Ligero but he du ked and Davis hit Wnd in the head allowing Cruz to get the inside cradle for the win and the titles. The Riots & SDS with a big brawl after the match. Mambo, Eaver, Sexsmith, Moser & Rampage hit the ring after security can’t hold them apart.

NPS Trophy match
Zack Gibson def. Holder, “Flash” Morgan Webster by submission *New Trophy Holder*

Nathan Cruz came out and pushed Webster’s foot of the rope when Gibson had him in a submission lock

Gibson takes a mic and demands his music is cut off, he says hes not gonna wait month after month as next week at “Chapter 24” in Manchester he’ll be cashing in the NPS Trophy for a PROGRESS Championship match.

PROGRESS Championship match
Champion, Will Ospreay def. Mark Andrews

What a match, this alone is worth the admission, both put on a great technical and highflying match, both hitting eachothers finishers and kicking out at every opportunity.

After the match, Ospreay takes a mic and says that Andrews deserves every bit of the applause and welcome back.
