Kzy & YO-HEY (c) vs. Eita & Yoshinari Ogawa​

- YO-HEY and Kzy with the best entrance so far

- YO-HEY imo one of the most under-rated talents in the world.

- The Juniors have just been tearing it apart during The New Year 2023

- what a fucking body rocking super kick to take the win and take the belts. FML - that was by far the best match of the night so far.

GHC Heavyweight Title Match
Kaito Kiyomiya (c) vs. Kenoh​

- Kenoh is fucking awesome - although since I know he was the last champion, realistically he can't win this match. Not without hurting Kiyomiya so early into this run. This match is going to bang though - although not sure it will be as good as last year's match between Nakajima and Shiozaki.

- Kongo always looking fucking cool and I love the solidarity they always show for the big matches.

- this match is fucking awesome - both men are going all out!

- wow big match - good contest, but yeah not as great as last year's title match. I enjoy Kaito - but I really don't think he is the best person to hold the gold.

Singles Match
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Great Muta​

- i never thought Nak's return match to Japan would be part of NOAH - madness and the fucking fed still never gave him a world title smh

- this being Muta's last major PPV match is also madness

- match obviously was never going to be five star, but still impressive none the less.

- RED MIST!!!!!!!!!

- a match doesn't need to be the greatest - to be iconic

- Nak with his own green mist - after suffering from the black mist. wild and memorable way to end the contest

Shuhei Taniguchi vs. Taishi Ozawa

- a strong Young Boy battle to start off proceedings.

#2 Scramble Shuffle Tag Tournament NOAH & Kongo Semi Final Match
Katsuhiko Nakajima & Seiki Yoshioka vs. Atsushi Kotoge & Manabu Soya

- loving Nakajima versus Soya in this match - was standout. The match was a lot of fun though, and I really loved what everyone brought to the table.

#3 Scramble Shuffle Tag Tournament NOAH & Kongo Semi Final Match
Satoshi Kojima & Shuji Kondo vs. Masakatsu Funaki & YO-HEY

- Kojima and YO-HEY - might be on different team, but I am going to love the shit out of this match!

- Kojima and Funaki going at each other like animals.

- YO-HEY giving Kojima his own chops . amazing!

- when Kojima hits the LARIAAAAAAAAAAAAT!

#4 Singles Match
Yasutaka Yano vs. Dante Leon

- DANTE LEON! GC FKING W BAYBAY!

- This Yasutaka Yano though does bring something to the table though.

- Got to love the aerial finish from Dante - dude is killing it in NOAH.

#5 Tag Team Match
Daiki Inaba & Masa Kitamiya vs. Sugiura-gun (Takashi Sugiura & Timothy Thatcher)

- this was just a hard hitting tag team contest, just one of those great matches. Everyone involved great at working with anyone else not just on their team - but also on the opposite side of the ring from. Kitamiya is such a beast though and turns everything he touches into gold [well like at least 50% of the time]

- if that isn't a title challenge I don't know what is.

#6 Tag Team Match
AMAKUSA & Ninja Mack vs. Kongo (Hi69 & Tadasuke)

- i am loving everyone in this match - what a great line up again. NINJA! NJINJA! NINJA FUCKING MACK!

- Really great match - Ninja Mack and AMAKUSA would make great opponents.

#7 Tag Team Match
Masato Tanaka & Shoki Kitamura vs. Kongo (Hajime Ohara & Kenoh)

- Kenoh is so great - such a shame a large NA audience/Euro will have zero fucks who he even is

- Crowd has been great in this match!

- KENOHHHHHHHHHHHH!​

#8 Six Man Tag Team Match
Eita, El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. & Yoshinari Ogawa vs. Alejandro, Junta Miyawaki & Naomichi Marufuji

- I am just loving this match up - six men that will put on a great match 100%.

- Eita must have lost his mind playing with Marufuji's hair like that.

- El Hijo del Dr. Wagner, Jr. head turn gimmick is always a great moment to.

- Great victory stealer that caps off a really great six man tag contest. 100% worthy a watch even for the casual.


#9 Tag Team Match
Kaito Kiyomiya & Yoshiki Inamura vs. Jack Morris & Jake Lee

- Without saying too much Kiyomiya and Jake Lee facing each other already in tag matches, seems like an eventual match already.

- I actually can't believe Jack Morris got a pin over the champ! What a mad end to that match.

- ive only seen Morris in two matches - but dude is fire. Does seem like a prelude to a Jake Lee match still

#10 Scramble Shuffle Tag Tournament NOAH & Kongo Final Match
Satoshi Kojima & Shuji Kondo vs. Katsuhiko Nakajima & Seiki Yoshioka

- this look like a great finals match! I can see Nakajima and Yoshioka winning though.

- Also been so slow and realized I should have watched Sunrise first. Ah well - just skip that show I guess and watch Sunny Voyage events instead.

- The lariat that Kondo connected on Yoshioka was fucking nasty!

- Those shots between Satoshi and Katsuhiko were loud and heavy as fuck - no way they didn't all hurt.

- VERTICAL SPIKEEEEEE!

A great event to start the year [lets pretend I watched Sunrise] and I've found myself falling right back in love with NOAH again.
